Obama's SS Commission
They think the poor should eat it
 Link

The leaders of Obama's bipartisan deficit commission launched a daring assault on mushrooming
federal deficits on Wednesday, proposing reducing annual cost-of-living increases for Social Security,
gradually raising the retirement age to 69 and taking aim at popular tax breaks such as the mortgage interest deduction.

This is such bullshit.
What we need to do is make the tax system less friendly to the super-rich.
Did you know Social Security isn't "means tested?"

If you make $100,000 a year (good luck with that) you pay SS taxes on 100% of your income.
If you make $3,000,000 a year (a lot of Rethugs do) you pay SS taxes on 3% of your income.
If you make $30,000,000 a year (some Rethugs do) you pay SS taxes on .03% of your income.
If you make $300,000,000 a year (some Rethugs do) you pay SS taxes on .0033% of your income.

This is obviously a payoff to the already super-rich - why?
If you're going to plug the loopholes, why not plug the GIANT ones?

Warren Buffet has said a thousand times that his secretary pays a higher rate than he does - why?
And why does Obama pretend not to hear Buffet when he speaks?

Plus, why are we paying Social Security to the super-rich?
Buffet, Gates, Ross Perot, Rupert Murdoch -- they all get SS checks - why?

Is Obama going to stand by the poor and the middle class on this life-or-death issue?
Or will his willingness to appease the Bitch & Boner win another victory?

As part of a proposal to wrestle $1-trillion-plus deficits under control, their plan would also curb the
growth of Medicare. It came a week after voters put Republicans back in charge of the House and
told Washington that the government is too big.

"We'll both be in a witness protection program when this is all over," Alan Simpson jokes with reporters.
Erskine Bowles said: "We're not asking anybody to vote for this plan. This is a starting point."

Yeah, but Obama is the worst negotiator on Democrtic history - at least in my lifetime.
By the time he gets done "negotiating" with the Rethugs, retirement will be 79.

The facts are clear:

Clinton raised taxes on the super-rich and created 24M jobs and we had the best economy ever.
Bush slashed taxes on the super-rich and created ZERO jobs and we had the worst economy ever.

Because Obama and his Party of Mice refused to make their case,
America voted for higher taxes, fewer jobs and a dead future.

Did you see the chart on Rachel Maddow the other night?

So, the middle class gets $1,000 and the super-rich get $103,000.

Fuck Gramdma - she can work another decade - she's tough. She can take it.
But the super-rich need a twelth home and Obama is going to let this happen?

The problem isn't lack of money - it's lack of courage on Obama's part.
Why doesn't he tell Bitch and Boner to shove those tax breaks up their Fascist asses?

Oh, that's right - he wants to be liked by everyone.

Yes, I've been critical on Obama - as every logical Democrat should be.
But if he keeps this up, I can't have his back forever.

It seems like every day he gets deeper in bed with Boehner and McConnell.

How far do we let him go before we say, "That's enough!?"

Since the day Hillary withdrew, I've been behind Obama
but I'm not following anybody off the damn cliff.
