Obama slams GOP "obstuctionists"
Far too little, far too late, is Obama finally waking up?

 Link

Moving into campaign mode, Obama on Saturday cast the Republicans as an obstructionist force
bent on impeding the nation's economic recovery for political purposes.

Obama said that Senate Republicans are also blocking an extension of jobless benefits to
millions of unemployed Americans suffering in a tough economy.

The House has passed a $34-billion bill extending unemployment insurance, but Democrats lack
the 60 votes in the Senate needed to break a Republican filibuster. A vote on the matter is set for Tuesday.

"Too often, the Republican leadership in the United States Senate chooses to filibuster our recovery
and obstruct our progress. And that has very real consequences," Obama said.

Obama's aim was twofold: to boost his party's chances in the midterm elections in November;
and to mollify Democrats who complain the White House is cavalier about their bleak prospects.

House Democrats were infuriated by that idiot Robert Gibbs' acknowledgment on "Meet the Whore"
last Sunday that Republicans could potentially win control of the House.

Polls confirm that Democrats are in jeopardy. In a recent poll, 45% said they wanted to see
Republicans run Congress after the November elections.

Obama's decision to sleep-walk thru his presidency may prove to be disasterous.

He's done such a bad job, more people want Republicans in charge than Democrats?

He has bent over backwards to conceed to every whim from The Bitch and The Boner,
and he has allowed talk radio, the racist Teabaggers and FOX News to define who he is
and now he acts surprised when his approval rating has fallen twenty points in the polls?

How can such a smart man makes such incredibly stupid political decisions?

Who told Obama he could kiss GOP ass and piss off his base and things would still work out?
Who's the idiot who told Obama that supporting off-shore drilling would give him a boost?
Who told Obama it would be smart to come out in support of off-shore drilling
without getting one goddamn thing in return?

Christ, at least Jack got a handful of beans for the cow - what'd Obama get?

Is Bob Shrum Obama's primary political consultant?

Is Obama getting advice on how to win from Gore and Kerry?

What would have to happen for Obama to win a second term?

If we lose big in November, should Democrats consider running
someone against Obama in the 2012 primaries?
