Subject: 5 Things Dems Can Do to
Turn It Around by November 2nd
1. Immediate Wall-to-Wall TV Ads, Internet Videos, and Appearances
Hammering Who the Hell Put Us in the Misery We're In.
2. Indict the Bush bastards.
3. Announce a Moratorium on All
Family Home Foreclosures.
4. Announce a New 21st Century WPA.
5. Declare That No Democrat Will
Accept ANY Wall Street Money in the Next Election Cycle.
Those are all good ideas, but
Obama's just not into bold, decisive moves.
Number One means "List the Facts."
Number Two would make America a country of laws once
again.
Number Three - I don't get it. Some bank or S&L
has, say, 500 homes they've repo'd.
Why are they so damn eager to foreclose on another 200 families,
which puts the abandoned property at risk? Why not
accept 20 cents
on the dollar and let the family stay in their home and
keep it up?
Number Four - makes all the sense in the world. We
have tens of millions of people out of work and
crap roads and crumbling bridges that need repair - it's a no-brainer
but I'm guessing
Mitch the Bitch told Obama "That's a
non-starter" and that was the end of that.
Number Five - Not sure how Obama can guarantee the
actions of almost 300 other Democrats,
but Michael Moore has some good ideas and Team Obama seems out of
steam.
Obama should listen to MM, or me,
or f-ing anybody besides his
current advisors.
