Waterton National Park, Alberta,
October 11 & 12, 2011
I saw photos in a bookstore
in Jasper of all these red rocks (Red Rock Canyon) and decided I wanted
to see this place.
Waterton is a extraordinarily beautiful park. The first day I drove up
to the canyon it was cold and windy and rainy
with very poor conditions for photos. I returned the next day to a
mixture of sun and rain mixed with light snow
but was able to catch some nice afternoon sunlight for about an hour.
While
the fall colors were gorgeous, I'd like to visit again when it's a
little bit warmer.
I guess we know why they call it Red Rock
Canyon.
