Brew Changes Bart's Mind on NSA
not ready to make nice, not ready to back down, still mad as hell and I don't have time to go round and round and round.

So, you are the go-to guy for smart-aleky answers to lawyer's questions? OK, sounds good. Answer these:

Isn't it a fact that Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) asked Director of National Intelligence James Clapper if the NSA collects
“any type of data at all on millions of Americans” at a March hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee?

I have no idea.

Isn't it a fact that Clapper responded: “No, sir. There are cases where they could inadvertently perhaps collect intelligence on Americans, but not wittingly”?

I have no idea - this issues affects me as much as gay marriage affect Republicans, which is not at all.

Isn't it a fact that at the time Clapper testified there was an ongoing, clandestine, national security electronic surveillance program
called "PRISM" that had been operated by the United States National Security Agency (NSA) and US corporations acting as
contractors for the NSA since 2007 that was gathering hundreds of millions of U.S. phone records?

Dunno, could be.
I avoid becoming obsessed over shit that doesn't affect me.

In light of the ongoing PRISM program, in your opinion, was Clapper's testimony that the NSA
did not collect “any type of data at all on millions of Americans” truthful?

Isn't it a fact that Edward Joseph Snowden, a thirty year old US former technical contractor for the NSA and CIA
employee with no college degree was given access to the data generated by the PRISM program?

Isn't it a fact that Edward Snowden disclosed some of the information he was given access to about the
PRISM program to the foreign press while in Hong Kong and Russia?

Isn't it a fact that thousands of other individuals within the NSA, the CIA, and or in their corporate contractors
also have access to the data generated by the PRISM program?

Are you aware of any information that would indicate that the telephone calls of any US officials are
or were excluded from surveillance under the PRISM program?

Are you aware of any information that would indicate that the telephone calls of the United States President
or his family are or were excluded from surveillance under the PRISM program?

Can you provide any testimony or assurance that thousands of people with the same or similar background as
Edward Snowden while acting as employees of the NSA, the CIA, and or their corporate contractors did not gain
access to information that could be used to blackmail US Officials, either by those people or by foreign governments
to whom such may have sold such information?

In light of the potential for abuse are you really sure it is a good idea to gather up all that information in the first place?

Are you aware of any information that would indicate that the telephone calls of any candidate for the United States
Presidency or his family are or were excluded from from surveillance under the PRISM or other NSA programs?

Are you aware of any information that would indicate that the telephone calls of any United States Senator or his
family are or were excluded from surveillance under the PRISM or other NSA programs?

Are you aware of any information that would indicate that the telephone calls of any United States Congressman
or his family are or were excluded from surveillance under the PRISM or other NSA programs?

Are you aware of any information that would indicate that the telephone calls of any United States Federal Judge
or his family are or were excluded from surveillance under the PRISM or other NSA programs?

Are you aware of any information that would indicate that the telephone calls of any United States Law Enforcement
Officer or his family are or were excluded from surveillance under the PRISM or other NSA programs?

Are you aware of any information that would indicate that the telephone calls of any United States Military Commander
or his family are or were excluded from surveillance under the PRISM or other NSA programs?

Can you provide any testimony or assurance that it is not possible for an individual to be blackmailed using information
gathered by employees of the NSA, the CIA, and or their corporate contractors?

Can you provide any testimony or assurance that no US officials are being blackmailed by any individual, our government,
or a foreign government using information gathered by employees of the NSA, the CIA, and or their corporate contractors?

Can you provide any testimony or assurance that the United States President and/or his family are not being blackmailed
by any individual, our government, or a foreign government using information gathered by the employees of the NSA,
the CIA, and or their corporate contractors?

Can you provide any testimony or assurance that no United States Senator or his family are being blackmailed by any
individual, our government, or a foreign government using information gathered by the employees of the NSA, the CIA,
and or their corporate contractors?

Can you provide any testimony or assurance that no United States Federal Judge or his family are being blackmailed by
any individual, our government, or a foreign government using information gathered by the employees of the NSA, the CIA,
and or their corporate contractors?

Can you provide any testimony or assurance that no United States Law Enforcement Officer or his family are being
blackmailed by any individual, our government, or a foreign government using information gathered by the employees
of the NSA, the CIA, and or their corporate contractors?

Can you provide any testimony or assurance that no United States Military Commander or his family are being blackmailed
by any individual, our government, or a foreign government using information gathered by the employees of the NSA, the CIA,
and or their corporate contractors?

Do you see any potential for the mass surveillance of all US citizens conducted by thousands of people no more reliable
than Edward Snowden to undermine the functioning of the US government as a representative democracy?

Even if you don't, do you really want to live in a police state?

You're right - Obama is the biggest traitor in America history.
Edward Snowden is the greatest patriot in American history.
Obama sold us out, our lives are worthless, there's no point in going on.
America once had promise, but that's all gone now.
You're right - it's over - everything - and it's not coming back.
The sky has fallen, darkness has overtaken us and the sun won't come up tomorrow.
Our worst fears have been realized and out future has been destroyed.
You're right - it's all over.

Now what?

All I can figure is that you're miserable about Snowden and you want me to be
just as miserable as you as you're very frustrated when you find out I'm not.
