Catholics vs Kathy Griffin

After Kathy Griffin won her Emmy, her acceptance
speech shocked The Catholic League.
In her speech, Griffin said, “Suck it, Jesus,
this award is my God now.”
She's a comedian, one of the few who make me laugh,
and it was a joke.
She was mocking the dorks who pray to win a football
game and those who thank God
when they win an Oscar or an Emmy, trivial shit
that God would be too busy to bother with
if He existed but He doesn't so it's a moo point,
as Joey on Friends might say..
Gees, thirty years after Richard Pryor, forty after Lenny Bruce - we have to watch what we say?
Catholic League president Bill Donohue responded
as follows:
“Mel Gibson. Michael Richards. Isaiah Washington.
Imus. Jerry Lewis."
Whoa, slow down.
Mel Gibson hates Jews, probably, that's different
from anything Griffin said.
Michael Richards, maybe, hates blacks, that's
different from anything Griffin said.
Isaiah Washington, maybe, hates gays, that's
different from anything Griffin said.
Imus, I'm convinced, is just a cranky old bastard
who tried too hard to be funny.
Jerry Lewis probably likes gay people and he
let that word slip out when he was tired.
Republicans on the other hand, hate blacks, they
gays, they hate liberals, they hate foreigners,
they hate the poor, they hate the French, they
hate women, and as Rush proves most days,
they really, really hate poor black women - so
why go after Kathy Griffin for her comedy?
Besides, Catholics run a worldwide, child serial-rapist
organization.
Why don't they clean their own house before attacking
others?
That, and we have almost 4,000 dead soldiers,
but these wacko Catholics think
Griffin's humor was the most outrageous thing
that happened last week?
Every time a celebrity offends a segment of the
population, he pays a price, in one way or another.
The question now is whether Kathy Griffin will
pay a similar price for her outburst.
No, she ain't gonna pay because she's not afraid
of you.
Go ahead, boybott her shows, take out fill page
ads in every paper every day - go ahead.
She'll tell you to suck it and laugh all the
way to the bank.
And as we have learned, her verbal assault was calculated.
No telling what that's supposed to mean.
“In an interview, Griffin described herself as
a ‘complete militant atheist.’ Unfortunately, her kind of vulgar
in-your-face brand of hate speech found a receptive
audience on Saturday: The Hollywood Reporter says
her foul remark ‘drew laughs.’
It was funny - you don't get it because you protect
child rapists for a living.
Why don't you try to save some kid's abused rectum
instead of chasing after a comedian?.
“It is incumbent upon the Academy to denounce
Griffin’s obscene and blasphemous comment; a statement
should also be read on Sunday. After all, it
is his organization. Moreover, given the way the Hollywood crowd
received Griffin’s remark, the Academy shoulkd
distance itself from this outrageous incident. We are contacting
Griffin’s agent as well.

Who's the Logic King who put this argument together?
The Catholic League is guilty of spreading the
hurtful stereotype that all Muslims are murderous terrorists.
I think the Catholic League owe all Muslims an
apology for that hateful, racist remark.
Kathy Griffin might sign an apology for her words right after you bastards
demand
that every Catholic priest on the planet signs the "I
will not rape another child" pledge.
You're nothing but some punk-ass cowards, probably using Griffin's comedy
as a fund-raiser
so you can raise enough money to pay off more six year-old rape victims,
you sick bastards.
