It’s not that bad
Last night as the Cleveland Browns stumbled about
listlessly I listened to the talking heads say the Browns
were ‘2 or 3 years’ away from winning in the
NFL. This is absurd, the Browns defense held the Ravens to
10 points all night (The other 6 points were
an interception run back for a touchdown). The Browns offense is
horrible, they can’t score to save their lives.
If they got a solid QB either with Brady Quinn starting to pan out,
or the draft or free agency, and get a few good
skill positions for the offense - this team could be a winner.
I’m sure if you looked at a bunch of talks about
the Bengals being a long way from winning last year, and now they
have the inside track for a bye week and the
2 seed in the AFC. Any team is one big draft or signing away from winning
big.
