My Brush with Greatness
Hey Bart,
I worked briefly on a TV show as a piano player (actually playing) in
the early 90s
and the guest star was an unknown actress, Halle Berry.
We spent time chatting it up backstage,
and had a great time together
( I even got a "nice working with you" hug after shooting).
She was (and is) gloriously beautiful
and the sweetest, and one of the most
engaging people I've ever met. I hope she still is.
On the same show I met famous gospel songwriter Jester Hairston (
"Mary's Boychild", etc ).
Sweet, Wonderful man. Gave me lots of songwriting advice. Famous people
are like anybody else,
some are pricks, most are decent, many are angels.
