My Brush with Greatness
I played in a band in
the late 80s early 90s in the L.A. area.
We were playing a show in some dive when two guys came in to watch
us.
One was a guy named Bob Forrest, who
was the lead singer of an L.A. band called Thelonious Monster.
He is now known for working as an addiction counselor with Dr. Drew on
“Celebrity Rehab.”
The other gentleman was Anthony Kiedis,
frontman for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
We talked after the show and I’ll never forget what he said, mostly
because it was a little confusing.
He said “it’s always good to hear new and interesting music coming from
the land of lands.”
