Gosh, I
wish I had more courage
First of all, Fuck Rosamond. That was uncalled
for.
I took out the "fuck" because there was no reason
to be crude to the lady.
The parts in blue are what I had the courage
to print yesterday.
But, come on, Bart. Just because you never
heard of him, doesn't mean he's a piece of shit. What's up with the
purity test?
What does he have to do, die in office with his
hands around someone's throat?
You say you watched his speech. You call
him a "quitter" and a "surrender monkey."
According to him, he wanted to retire in 2000,
but stayed on to fight Bush. I believe him.
You say, "The more I learn about Obey, the less
I like him." What the fuck have you learned?
According to OpenCongress.org, he voted WITH HIS
PARTY 99% percent of the time. (http://www.opencongress.org/person/show/400300_David_Obey)
Once we've established that Obey voted with the
Dems 99% of the time, is this next part important?
He fought and voted against the Iraq Resolution
of 2002. And he was the guy, in 2007, that wanted to hold up the
funding
for it until Bush "acceded to demands for
an exit strategy." He did yeoman's work for us over the years on
ethics and as a parliamentarian.

Voted NO on prohibiting needle exchange &
medical marijuana in DC. (Oct 1999)

random drug tests. (Sep 1998)

OPEC. (May 2007)

- Hell, look at the cart at the bottom of the page. (attached)
He's fucking old. Let him retire in peace.
Jeez, he started in the State Assembly in fucking
1963. It's a blue state. We're just going to get some other
liberal pussy from Wisconsin.
It's not his fault it's his rural blue haired
constituency. His district is BFE Wisconsin where Tim Russert probably
WAS considered
"hard news", even though we both know he was
a shallow trivia weather vane. Plus Russert was Catholic, and you
know how
old Catholics circle the wagons. Do
you think anyone in BFE Wisconsin could get re-elected by saying, "it's
no loss to journalism?"
Yes, the NRA loved him and his Catholicism
influenced his judgment. He represents BFE Wisconsin; there's nothing
out there
but God and gun racks.
You know, statistically, he could STILL die
in office.
Leave him be.

So, was I a Hannity-like coward for not printing
all the filler that Lowell sent?
Do you want to read thru 1,000-word e-mails?
Or should I do what editors do - cut the redundant crap out?.
I
love the redundant crap, Bart Please print every word of every e-mail.
Life's
too short - continue editing, Bart
Logically, there was no reason for Rosamond or Lowell to turn on me.
I'm in the entertainment business and the opinions business.
I can't share every opinion with every-fucking-body.
If you write, "Jimmy Page is a bad guitar player,"
and I going to respond with "Fuck you, asshole?"
Of course not and I never have because I get that people are entitled
to their opinions.
But if you, the reader, feel that it's very important to attack and
call me names for having an opinion,
I guess I'll have to learn to live with that ugly slice of human nature.
