I watched a Cheers rerun last night.
 Can anybody tell me who played Frasier's mother on Cheers?

 I'm pretty sure she was only in this one episode.

 Here's a BIG clue:
 She threatened to murder Diane Chambers.

 I know that wasn't much of a clue, but it IS a big one.

 Frasier's mother was played by Nancy Marchand.
 Nancy Marchand plays Tony Soprano's insane?/murderous mother.

 That means, in a TV sort of way, Tony Soprano is either
 Frasier's brother os his half-brother.

 I thought it was odd that she played an insane?/murderous mother on both shows.
 And, both show have a psychiatric angle, too.

 When Tony needed to see a shrink, he could've just called Frasier.
 After all, Frasier would have special insight into Tony's problem.

 Only three people got it, (Tina Kramer was first)
 and two of the "winners" admitted looking it up.

 If this was a big-time, well-financed production,
 instead of a run-on-a-shoestring, tequila-fueled treehouse,
 Tina would be on her way to fabulous Las Vegas.

 But noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

 Maybe someday, Tina.
