On "Partial Birth Abortion"...

Isn't it interesting that those who CLAIM to think "life begins at
conception" are pushing for a ban on later term abortions? Let's think about
what this would mean for the overall NUMBER of abortions..

If you are a woman considering abortion, say, in your 2nd month...and you think to yourself,
"My choice is to have this abortion now or give up the option at 6 months.."

You are MORE LIKELY to have the abortion, rather than wait knowing that it
will be illegal beyond a certain point. BUT...BUT....If you know you can
have the abortion at ANY POINT, the chances that you will do so after the
baby moves, after you see an ultrasound..etc...when you know there is little
time left in the pregnancy..are LOWER AND LOWER as time goes by.

So what this means is that bans on late term abortions = MORE ABORTIONS OVERALL.

Why do some find this acceptable? Because the "baby" is CUTER later in the pregnancy.
Because it looks more like the GERBER BABY. Ten early-term abortions are more
acceptable than one LATE TERM because "we can see it sucking its thumb".

Oh, by the way. Did you know SMIRK ran as PRO CHOICE when he lost his
Congressional race? There is a QUOTE out there where he says abortion is a
WOMAN'S CHOICE. I have seen this ONCE in the media, I believe on Chris the
Screamer. But WHY is it not getting more play? I know Al Gore must have it
in his bag of tricks for the debates but it makes me sick that it isn't "out
there" more. Smirk changed his abortion position just like daddy to get the
dittospank support and to hell with women's lives and health.
Ain't that just like a GOFP womanhater.

Finally, on Perfect Storm.
I loved the movie. All the stuff that happened on the boat after losing
radio communication was speculation, since nobody lived to tell what really happened.
