Subject:  Miscelany

Dear Bart,

First, Hillary. I don't agree with your premises for why the dems should pin their hopes
on her or what her chances are for victory given the nod by the DP.

The DP?
Democratic party?
And for the record - again - I'm not demanding that everybody love Her.
I think our side should stop telling lies about our front-runner.
If she can't win the nomination then she's not good enough.

My strong feeling is that one, there are too many people who consider  her to be a
power-grabbing carpet bagger. She has followed a trend whereby wanna-be politicians
move to states where they have good odds on winning and then take the seat.

If you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere.

Two...  The two-party  system is hosed - two choices is not really a choice...

<snippage>

What good does it do to talk about a situation we're not in?
You might as well say, "If this were China.." but we're not in China.
We're in the situation we're in.  We should deal with that.

Check out an acquaintance of mine, Lance Brown http:// www.freedom2008.com

Dude, all a Libertarian can do is subtract votes from the Democrat - and help the BFEE.

Also, I'm not certain America is ready for a female president.
Perhaps 10 from now...

The polls say people want change.
If She is the nominee, will they vote to stay Bush's disasterous course?

She may be galvanizing, and she may be smart, but there is also personality/charisma.

Maybe after the Bush disaster, voters will rethink their position on that stupid,
dumb-ass question, "Who would you rather have a beer with?"
We just might be ready for a compentent leader instead of a good 'ol boy moron.

I don't think this go-'round is going to be the one for Her.
We still have some time for something amazing [or not] to happen.

You might be right - we still have a lot of living soldiers to give to Bush.

Also, I agree with your premise on the JBR thing. The parents should  have talked.
Thanks for your efforts,
 J --

Most people disagreed with me, which, as always, is flat-out crazy.
They said, "When suspected of murder, one should always..." but this was their little girl!
If they were innocent, they should've done all they could to help the cops - case closed.
