What is it you always say? "WHY WON'T THE DEMOCRATS EVER LIST THE
FACTS?"
Well.... you're not listing them either, AND WE NEED YOU TO.
Let me list some basic facts from that rant (and new ideas) that I
really feel
would help if you were to add these to THE HAMMER:
#1 - THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FACT YOU NEVER MENTION:
WE MADE OBAMA REACH ACROSS THE AISLE BECAUSE WE
NEVER HAD 60 VOTES IN THE SENATE EVER (much less 50.)
Yes, everyone voted for CHANGE. But from the moment Obama took office,
we never really had the
Progressive Army in DC to give us that change, and Obama doesn't work
alone. We never had 60 votes
in the Senate not even for a minute.
Let's do the MATH:
60 minus Joe Liberman (I-R fucker) = 59
Minnesota had one less Senator until Al Franken was finally seated on
JULY 7th! = 58
Ted Kennedy was ill (and out), then died on 8/25/09 = 57 (now an R
holds that seat.)
And how many Blue Dogs are there? 8? 10?
And how many more are owned by the corporations?
HOW THE FUCK DO WE EVEN HAVE 50 VOTES?
WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A SIMPLE MAJORITY. THAT IS A FACT.
It's a fucking miracle that Obama has accomplished all he has
considering the fact we on the left
not only FAILED to give him a team in Congress to actually work with,
but we repeatedly whine
that he's not standing up and fighting - when he doesn't have enough
BODIES TO FIGHT WITH HIM,
and constantly stab him in the back. He MUST make deals because WE
FAILED HIM.
We fixed part of that with throwing out a lot of the BlueDogs in the
House this month, so it's a start.
But we've never had a majority in both Houses EVER, and anyone who
claims differently is LYING.
HOWEVER - because so many Independents and Dems have been MISLED into
thinking OBAMA
HAS DONE NOTHING - they stayed home, and most people in DC now,
mistakenly, think the signal
is to move farther to the RIGHT (like Clinton did), when the truth is,
it's quite the opposite.
Had the PROGRESSIVE BLOGS
BEEN LISTING THE FACTS like the RECORD LEGISLATION
with the lack of 60 GOP-required votes, we might have GAINED SEATS.
#2 - THIS IS THE 2nd most important FACT THAT YOU NEED TO SCREAM ABOUT:
THE GOP OWNS 99.99% OF THE MEDIA AND THE FOURTH ESTATE IS DEAD.
(Actually, it's probably the MOST IMPORTANT FACT, since how would you
know we even
have a government since they seem to think Lyndsay Lohan is the most
important news story
of this century, and if the Press functioned properly, no one would
ever hear of Sarah Palin
again unless she went on a shooting spree at the Wassila McDonalds.)
Every time someone cries about the "Liberal Media" we all need to
respond with,
"You mean the one owned by Murdoch, the Saudi Royal Family, and the
Koch brothers?
The Liberal Media that never gives any airtime to the PRESIDENT or the
Dems???"
Everyone is too emotional to realize we are getting EPICALLY PLAYED,
and only getting
all our information filtered through the GOP owned
media-everything in this country, and can't
take off the filter, and see reality for what it is. It's not easy.
We're all pretty immersed in their
GOP PROPAGANDA COMPLETE SATURATION pool.
Haven't you noticed there's a virtual GOPMedia-imposed blackout on the
POTUS and the DEMS?
You can sometimes see them on CSPAN, but forget about regular TV &
Cable news. Unless they
buy primetime airtime on every channel, or manage to get on Bill Maher,
or The Daily Show,
there's no reason to report on what has actually gotten done, WHICH IS
AN ADMINISTRATIVE
RECORD FOR ANY PRESIDENT AT THE 22 month mark - another fact you never
mention,
and instead mock. Tons of your readers have sent you links to
these lists, yet you never bother
to LIST THE FACTS while you accuse the DEMS of doing the same. They're
BUSY fixing this
shithole of a country caused by GOP damage over the last 30+ years, and
don't have time to
BLOG - so why don't you HELP instead of HURT?

BIG TIME and you're losing readers because of it. My friends email me
and tell me, to tell you,
"that they're done with bartcop", because they "know you won't listen
to them", but somehow
think you'll listen to me..... I don't have much hope you'll listen to

The REASON he's down by 30 points is because the news, and websites
like THIS ONE, TELL THEM
that Obama "isn't coming to work" and they believe that, even when that
is an outright lie.
He IS coming to
work, and getting shit done. You either want him to FIX SHIT, or be a
TV pundit.
There's a LOT of shit to
fix, and he doesn't have time to do both - even though he tried nonstop
right
before this last election.
Remember the GOPMedia crying about how Obama was spending too much
time on TV the first year,
and what a Media Whore he was, and how he "must think he's a movie
star",
which led to all that
teleprompter nonsense?

But he still has
gotten A LOT DONE. THAT IS A
FACT.

This is WHY everyone thinks

COMBINED. They've also held up a RECORD NUMBER of
Presidential Appointments
(while we're fighting two wars they started! And they cry about
national security!
Bagger puhleez!) The fact we
have seated two women on the USSC is another fucking MIRACLE.
And yet, in spite of all
that, OBAMA HAS ACCOMPLISHED MORE IN THE LAST 22 MONTHS
THAN ANY OTHER PRESIDENT IN
HISTORY IN THAT TIME PERIOD (so you saying he doesn't
come to work is complete
horseshit. Is it all perfect? No, but it's a 100% improvement over what
it was
like before. That FACT, and
a link to the list of legislation, should be at the top of your page
every day,
along with calling out the
media for ignoring it, just like when you used to list the Iraq
casualty numbers.
You also need a link to
whitehouse.gov, it's one of the few places the GOP doesn't own were you
can
get straight information,
since Huffington Post has decided to emulate the Drudge Report these
days,
and been largely taken over
by the PaidTeaBaggerProfessionalPosters Club.
FACT #6 YOU NEED TO LIST:
The majority of the
electorate is lazy, and believe what they're told to believe.
YOU telling people Obama
refuses to come to work, is going against TWO BARTCOP PRINCIPLES:
#1 - TELL THE TRUTH - he
goes to work, every day, and has accomplished RECORD
LEGISLATION OF ANY PRESIDENT
- which you lie about/ignore.
#2 - LIST THE FACTS - see
above.
A lot of people, including
you, want Obama to become John Shaft, played by Samuel L. Jackson.
Not only is that never going
to happen, he couldn't even if he wanted to because it will scare the
old white people, and Sarah
& GOPCO will run it on every station 24/7 that he's UNSTABLE,
and will rape your daughter!
Obama also has too much respect for the Office Of The President
to ever allow himself to
indulge in that behavior. I WANT Obama to be the rational, intelligent
ADULT in the room, I DO NOT
WANT him to become Glenn fucking Beck. I am proud he's
more Mandela than the
TeaBagger loonies. The rest of the world is grateful for that as well.
You should be too. Besides,
at the end of the day, it should be about his ACCOMPLISHMENTS
not his TV persona, whoever
AWESOME it is. If the GOPMedia never allow us to see him, how would we
know?
How about this - Remember
the genius moment from The West Wing? "Let Bartlet be Bartlet?"
Well, why can't we let Obama
be Obama? He's not John Shaft, nor did he ever pretend to be.
I guess his biggest mistake
is giving the people too much credit, believing that they're all
intelligent,
and thinking the Left wasn't
as stupid as we've allowed ourselves to become, not only stabbing him
in the back, but running
back to the abusive spouse on top of it.
Bart, I'M BEGGING. PLEASE
LIST THE FACTS. THE REAL ONES.
WE NEED YOUR HELP. Stop
being Crossfire, they got cancelled.

you want Obama to fail, so he will step down,
making way for Hillary to
