Well...I am a little bit confused. Lemme see if I have this right..
that CIA
fella came to the FBI with his cock n bull story about his supposed
wife to
convince Scully to bring the pregnant mother (forgot her name) to a
military
hospital where they could take the alien-baby...Not to be pedantic
but what
about all those threatening letters to Mulder from eight years ago?
Are we
supposed to believe that the bad 'ol conspiracy can predict what is
going to
happen eight years in the future? or is this another texas-sized-UFO-taking-
off-from-Antarctica-in-secret kinda story.
Aside from that I thought that Doggett's reactions at the end with Scully
didn't ring true. Up until then he's been a straight shooter..but his
assertion that the baby was a healthy human was bogus. Also can someone
out
there enlighten me as to why neither Scully nor Doggett bother to press
the
investigation into the bad doctors and their deeds. Even if aliens
aren't
involved clearly something is going on and pregnant women are involved.
I
think that it was more a necessity than a nicety for us to see Skinner
and or
Doggett being pressured to leave things alone or...Doggett and Scully
slipping
into something black and sexy for some funky poaching...but no...let's
just
ignore the whiole thing and sleep the sleep of the innocent while rubbing
our
belly to yet some more of that choir music. *sigh*
What a waste of story potential...again.
Gilligan's island had more continuity than the XF,
I am not impressed.
