"What Karl Rove said is true."
--GOP
Chairman Ken Mehlman, 'no need for Rove to apologize' Attribution
You see the difference in the two parties?
When our side says something that's true, they demand
an apology
and then, we
cry, we apologize, and we beg their forgiveness.
When they tell an outrageous lie, we demand an apology
and they tell us "Go fuck yourself, we're
not apologizing."
That's the
difference between the two parties.
We beg and whimper while they tell us to fuck off.
Are Bob Shrum and Mary Beth Cahill still calling
the shots for our side?

The
other memos
by Greg Palast at gregpalast.com

Excerpt:
The memo, which contains the ill-making
admission that "the intelligence and facts
were being fixed" to match the Iraq-crazed fantasies
of our President, is sufficient basis
for a hearing toward impeachment of the Chief Executive.
But to that we must add the
other evidence and secret memos and documents still
hidden from the American public.
Other foreign-based journalists could doubtless
add more, including the disclosure that
the key inspector of Iraq's biological weapons,
the late Dr. David Kelly, found the Bush-Blair
analysis was indeed "fixed," as the Downing Street
memo puts it, around the war-hawk policy.
Here is a small timeline of confidential
skullduggery dug up and broadcast by my own team
for BBC Television and Harper's on the secret plans
to seize Iraq's assets and oil.

It could almost be said that the Democrat's cowardice proves Rove

Who will vote for a party that's afraid to defend itself?
Who wants a party of crying, pink-tutu wimps in charge of America's defense?

"But

All Democrats know how to do is apologize and cry and I'm fucking

We need to give Howard Dean a rhetorical blank check and ANY Democrat who
attacks Howard Dean should be cut off from party money in the 2006 elections.
Or, we could lay here, crying in our urine-soaked pants and prove
Rove is right.

So, it appears that we (the U.S.A.) have stepped

Is anyone surprised?

Judge Orders Arrest of 13 CIA Agents
They frown on no-due-process kidnappings in civilized countries

Excerpt:
An Italian judge has ordered the arrest
of 13 CIA agents for allegedly helping
deport an imam to Egypt as part of Bush's war on
the rest of the world.
The agents are suspected in the seizure of an Egyptian-born
imam identified as
Abu Omar on the streets of Milan in February 2003. Prosecutors
believe the
agents seized Omar as part of the CIA's "extraordinary
rendition" program,
in which terror suspects are transferred to third
countries to be tortured.
It took courage for this judge to stand
up against Earth's occupiers.
I hope he has his affairs in order because Bush's thugs tend to murder
those
who stand between them and something they want.

B.I.G.'s
Family Paints Conspiracy Theory
What role did the LAPD play, and why are there no suspects?

Excerpt:
The family of slain rapper Notorious B.I.G.
tried Thursday to paint a dark
conspiracy theory of his death by linking corrupt
police officers to gang
members in a wrongful death lawsuit against the
city and the LAPD.
A witness for the plaintiffs, LAPD Detective
Wayne Caffey, said he once saw
a photograph showing disgraced officers Rafael
Perez and David Mack together.
The B.I.G. family alleges that Mack helped arrange
the rapper's killing.
The B.I.G. family contends that Mack helped
arrange The B.I.G.'s killing at the behest
of known thug "Suge" Knight as retaliation
for the killing of his boy Tupac. According to
the theory underlying the suit, Mack arranged to
have a friend driving Mack's car shoot B.I.G.
The suit alleges that the LAPD covered up Mack's
involvement.

Fourth
of July is just days away
What better way to honor the few freedoms we have left than...
America
became more fascist today
The Supreme Court has again expanded
the power of the government at the expense of
The People ruling that city governments can force
home owners out of their homes so that
the city can give their land to corporations for
private development to generate tax revenue.
We are no longer a country where the interests
of The People outweigh the interests of
corporations and of the government serving itself.
Now WalMart can take your home if they
bribe the right city council members to do so.
Another sad day for America as it slides
into becoming fascist state.

Poker
Talk
Watching a rerun from the first year of the World
Poker Tour, they bragged that the winner
would walk away with $147,000. The winner of last's week's current
tourney won $2.7M
That's a twenty-times bigger purse in season three than they had
in season one and next
Wednesday, they're closing season three with the BIG tourney at The
Bellagio.
I think this poker craze might be taking off.
I wanted to run a USAhoToday article about the World
Series of Poker, but noooooooooooooo.
Their search engine says the big poker story from June 22 doesn't exist.
(Why does a multi-million dollar outfit like USAhoToday have a broken
search engine?)
They said this year's WSOP will be the biggest ever, with over
3,000 people signed up so far
and the big games don't start until July 7. This year the WSOP is
at The
Rio which is good
because they can't fit 3,000 players in Binion's
Horseshoe where we had our very first Pokerfest.
Sidebar:
Remind me to tell you the story of the time The
Rio tried to put the bag on me.
I told them a judge wouldn't like a billion dollar
casinoe* taking advantage of the Okie rube,
(I can play dumb really well in court) and they
smartly chose to muck their losing hand,
but I'll still do business with them because they
did the right thing when forced to.
In closing (crowd sets cop cars on fire) the buy-in for the WSOP
is $10,000.
By contrast, the buy-in for Pokerfest Chicago is just $100 -
for two tourneys, maybe three!
Your wife would leave you if you spent $10,000 to
get in a poker game,
but she probably won't even notice the missing $100 from
the grocery money jar :)
