Foley 'October Surprise' Claim Flops

These 9/11 conspiracy theorists smack of reverse racism to me.

A. They seem to be all saying that a bunch of towel headed camel jockeys
     wouldn't be smart enough to pull something this big off.

B. My question which always goes unanswered is, how many people
    would have to keep their mouths shut to pull something this big off?

Keep swinging the hammer, I may not agree with everything you say
but it's still a semi-free country.

A. It seemed like a pretty simple plan to me,
     but I've never planned a terrorist attack.

Seems like one "good" idea, times four, with 19 suicidal friends
wouldn't take a lot of money or a room full of intelligence.

B. The answer to your question is "a bunch for a long time," and they did.
    They kept Bush's torture prisons secret for years.
    They have an entire shadow government with a black budget,
    yet nobody is talking about that, either.
    The NYWTimes knew for a year or longer than Bush was spying.
    The phone companies knew for years Bush was tracking and listening.

The BFEE is giving everyone the same options they gave Afghanistan and pakistan.
"You either go along with us or we'll murder you."

That's very effective.

Remember, Bush can legally kidnap, torture and/or murder anyone he wants.
That's a good incentive to keep his secrets to yourself.

Subject: Behind closed doors

The Republicans say that they want to get to the bottom of the Mark Foley sex scandal
and that they aren't trying to cover it up. Well then, why are the hearings behind closed doors?

When they were crucifying Clinton, they put it on live TV and made it as public as possible.
But when it comes to their sex scandal, (which is a felony) they kide the truth from us.

Foley was co-chair of the Exploited Children's Caucus and was trying to have sex with underage boys.
And with Foley hiding out in an alcohol rehab center and the investigation hidden till after the elections,
Republicans are hoping that the voters will forget it their crimes and cover-ups in the next few weeks.

If the Republicans have nothing to hide then why hold hearings behind closed doors?

Back in 2002, who polled the highest among Democrats for Presidential contender for '04? 
I don't remember, but I swear it wasn't John Kerry. 

I'm not hating on HRC or anything, but I want to see who comes out in the next year. 
Mark Warner already dropped out, and we've heard  little from our favorite General. 
(I voted for Clark in the Primary).

Subject: financing Bush's quagmire

On NPR today Ann Garrells said that the major tax revenues in Iraq were
from their oil "such as they are", implying they are getting very little out of it. 

Well of course they aren't since there are no meters on the oil pumps
as Bart and other major media have pointed out.

She said the majority of the money supporting the Iraqi government are US tax dollars.

So we are paying for the BFEE to not only wage war, kill our troops and innocent Iraqis, 
as well those who dare to oppose an invasion of their homeland, kill jihadists and steal oil 
but to finance both sides in a civil war too?

Thanks for the heads up on the Pretenders special on VH1.
I remember the original band tearing through a killer set at the Orpheum Theater in Boston in 1981.

They were a ferocious band and without Chrissie Hynde many of the female artists of today,
like one of your favorites, Shirley Manson wouldn't exist.  Good to see the band get more respect.

It's too bad James Honeyman-Scott and Pete Harndon aren't here to enjoy it as well.
