co-sponsored by the lying bastards at Fox News cable channel,

Good for Edwards.
It's risky passing up a debate, but if Hillary and Obama join
him,
they'll send the signal that the dirty FOX whores can't be

Killing
U.S. Troops Slowly
by Michael O'McCarthy
consortiumnews.com
Excerpt:
The Walter Reed disclosures shouldn't have
come
as that much of a surprise to the Pentagon or the White House:
On March 14, 1981 Jim Hopkins, Marine
veteran
of Vietnam, drove his army Jeep through the glass doors and
into the lobby of the multi-million dollar,
showcase
edifice of Wadsworth VA hospital, at Los Angeles, California.
He did so to protest the gross, willfully
negligent
treatment given US veterans within the VA system, specifically,
those veterans of the US war in Southeast
Asia,
aka, the Vietnam War.
He fired rounds from his AR 14 into the
official
pictures of then-President Reagan and ex-PresidentCarter.
For emphasis he then fired his .45 caliber
handgun
and a shotgun screaming that he was not receiving the
medical attention needed. Hauled from the
hospital
by law enforcement, he screamed into the cameras that
his brain was "being destroyed by Agent
Orange."
That sent both a shockwave and a wake-up
call
through the U.S. and became a clarion call
to thousands of veterans who felt the very
same
as did Hopkins.

"The emerging scandal surrounding the

voters the depth of corruption in the

resisting political pressure in the course of executing his
prosecutorial duties, the line between

Subject: page vs
radio shows
Hi Bart,
How's things going with you?
Except for my declining health, I live
in Paradise
every day.
I hate to admit it, but I haven't been
listening
to the radio shows.
Dude, you've missed 109 shows?
You should at least listen to one - you
might
even like it.
Burn a show to a CD and listen in your car.
I'm probably one of your few fans who
only donates
to try to help to keep you doing what you are doing.
Other than the page, and I actually would
like
to see it 7 days a week, but I know you need a weekend also.
I hear you, but the radio subscriptions
is my
salary.
Hard to cut back on that when sand is rushing
thru the hourglass.
The reason I'm writing is to try to
solicit support
for John Edwards campaign.
I just joined his website and donated some
money
to him. I'm not necessarily anti Hillary,
although I am more in step with Edwards.
I like Edwards.
He hasn't turned vicious and personal (like
some
candidate's backers)
I mentioned this on a radio show and got
zero
feedback, but is it possible that Obama
didn't know that his biggest
backer, his
host on his biggest day as a candidate, was going to
throw him and Hillary into the mud?
Obama promised to run a clean campaign,
but it
sure didn't start clean.
If Obama didn't know, what does that
say
about Geffen being a friend?
Up to the point that a decision is made
as to
who the candidate will be, I think that argument
between the candidates is good, just keep
it
on the issues and not personal.
I agree - and it would be nice if Obama
clarified
his position on Geffen's personal attacks.
If Obama wants to be known as a guy who
plays
above the slime, he should leash his dogs.
I'll see if maybe I can't listen to
those radio
shows, but the money will continue reguardless,
just keep that page up to it's high
standards.
I love your comments on stories, sometimes I wish
I could be there responding to those
monkeys
with you.
Keep that hammer swinging.

Why is it so evil to make millions

It's not.
I'm saying since Swann has been wealthy all

Priests

They have to get rid of El Diablo's sulpher stench

Excerpt:
Mayan priests will purify a sacred
archaeological
site to eliminate "bad spirits" after
President Bush visits next week, an
official
with close ties to the group said Thursday.
"That a person like (Bush), with the
persecution
of our migrant brothers in the United States,
with the wars he has provoked, is going to
walk
in our sacred lands, is an offense for the Mayan
people and their culture," Juan Tiney, the
director
of a Mayan nongovernmental organization with

leaders,

Firefighters:
Giuliani is no hero
Link
Excerpt:
Rudy Giuliani has been attacked by the
nation's
firefighters union for rushing to remove debris
at New York's World Trade Center site
before
many remains had been recovered.
The International Association of Fire
Fighters
union said it wants its 260,000 U.S. members to know
the ``real Giuliani story,' contending that
he
sought to curtail search-and-recovery efforts at the WTC after 9-11
that claimed the lives of 2,752 people,
including
343 union fire fighters.
"Giuliani's actions meant that fire
fighters and
citizens who perished would either remain buried at Ground Zero forever,
with no closure for families, or be removed
like
garbage and deposited at the Fresh Kills Landfill,'' said union
President
Harold Schaitberger in a draft letter to

Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky

GOP
knew
about Walter Reed
public.cq.com
Excerpt:
Senior Republicans who knew about problems
at
Walter Reed while they controlled Congress insist
they did all they could to prod the
Pentagon
to fix them. But C.W. Bill Young, R-Fla., former chairman
of House Appropriations, said he stopped
short
of going public with the hospital's problems to avoid
embarrassing the Army while it was fighting
wars
in Iraq and Afghanistan. Young and Tom Davis III, R-Va.,
both acknowledged in interviews that they
were
aware of patient care problems at Walter Reed long
before The Washington Post exposed them two
weeks
ago.
The sons of bitches didn't mind rats in the hospital because
they wanted
to protect Bush.

Turns
50 -- Bush Gives Him Present
wehateclintons.com
Excerpt:
Osama turns 50 on Saturday and Bush got him
a
big present: 2006 days of freedom and well-being!
Five and a half years ago, when bin Laden
ordered
the attacks against the Twin Towers, Pentagon
and White House, he could not have imagined
things
going any better.
They hit three out of four targets. The
United
States government was asleep at the wheel. Bush was so
flummoxed by the attacks he sat around
reading
a children's book and looking like a jackass to the rest
of the world. That same confused leader
then
invaded the country you were in but missed you as you
strolled into Pakistan. Then he attacked
the
wrong country and deposed a secular leader you hated.
He ran his army into the ground fighting
the
wrong people. And let you run free and uninhibited for 2006 days.

The
Death
of Internet Radio?
They're raising the rates where nobody can afford it
Link
Excerpt:
The Copyright Royalty Board (CRB) has
announced
its decision on Internet radio royalty rates,
rejecting all of the arguments made by
Webcasters
and instead adopting the "per play" rate proposal
put forth by the super greedy bastards
at
SoundExchange
(a digital music fee collection body
created by the super greedy bastards at
the
RIAA).
RAIN has learned the rates that the
Board has
decided on, effective retroactively through
the beginning of 2006. They are as follows:
2006 $.0008 per performance
2007 $.0011 per performance
2008 $.0014 per performance
2009 $.0018 per performance
2010 $.0019 per performance
A "performance" is defined as the
streaming of
one song to one listener; thus a station that has
an average audience of 500 listeners racks
up
500 "performances" for each song it plays.
The minimum fee is $500 per channel per
year.
Greed is strangling the Internet. Nobody can leave well enough
alone.
Everybody is so worried that there might be an extra nickel to steal,
so the greedy sons of bitches steal a dollar, just in case.

lynch law in Iraq
The Giggling Murderer strikes again
socialistworker.co.uk
Excerpt:
Liqa Omar Muhammad is waiting to die. The
26
year old Iraqi mother shares her Baghdad prison
cell with her child, who was born in
captivity.
On 2 March she discovered that her execution by
hanging was postponed following an
international
outcry. Her fate is unknown.
Her crime? Her husband and brother were
accused
of organising an attack on a US-Iraqi patrol in 2005.
This is George Bush's Iraq, the country we
were
told had to be liberated from Saddam.
Liqa is set to hang with two other
women, Wassan
Talib, 31, and Zainab Fadhil, 25.
The women were convicted of "acts of
terrorism"
in trials widely denounced as unfair.
They had no right to a lawyer.
All three women deny being members of
the resistance.
They will be killed as a lesson to others -
any Iraqi accused of being part of the
resistance
will be executed, along with their wives and sisters.

Zeroing
in on Cheney-Bush
by Robert Parry
consortiumnews.com
Excerpt:
Though Libby was convicted only on perjury
and
obstruction charges, there should be little doubt
what the full picture looks like.
If the panorama could be viewed all at
once, the
American people would see an administration that,
in summer 2003, felt it could pretty much
do
whatever it wanted to anyone. Bush's inner circle validated
every cliche about the arrogance of power,
particularly
the old saying about absolute power corrupting absolutely.
In the modern media context, defending
that omnipotence
meant coming up with demeaning comments
about critics who dared to speak out. The
goal
was to generate talking points that could be given to the
administration's many friends in Congress
or
at right-wing and mainstream news outlets.
