The Mayberry Machiavellis
  by Robert Parry

 consortiumnews.com

 Excerpt:
Attorney General Alberto Gonzales saw nothing unusual about White House complaints last fall
that U.S. Attorneys weren't pushing out "voter fraud" indictments of Democrats fast enough.
Nor did he resist firing some of those prosecutors a month after Republicans lost the Congress.
After all, Gonzales had been White House counsel when former policy adviser John DiIulio
revealed that politics trumped everything in a Bush administration run by the "Mayberry Machiavellis."

Today, Ed Schultz predicted Gonzales will stay on, because Bush is such a stubborn bastard,
but most pundits are saying now that the Republicans have taken the lead in calling for his head,
it's only a matter of time.  Too bad we couldn't get as more Democrats on-board.

I told you again and again - the GOP will eventually have to save us,
because the cowardly Democrats are just too afraid to act.

Inside Bush's Bubble

 Excerpt:
This time, the Pitcher-in-Chief threw a curve, if not a scroogie. He would not, he announced,
"try to be the funny guy tonight", because we'd all had a tough week, owing to the tragedy in Blacksburg...
But it's okay to crack jokes every other year while we're at war and hundreds of young people the same
age as the VT students are dying in Iraq directly because of the decisions of the man doing standup?
If this Presidential moment wasn't crass and cheesy, wrapping his reluctance to engage in the ritual inside
a sanctimonious concern for--the sentiments of the families who couldn't care less what was going on at
the Hilton, the delicate feelings of those in the room who'd had to work in Virginia this week?--then I
don't know crass and cheesy."

Subject: Letter to Maureen Dowd

Ms. Dowd--

I guess it wasn't enough that your lies and smears helped sink Al Gore in 2000, or that your absurd
obsessions with Kerry's eating and sporting habits helped make him look ridiculous in 2004.

Now we have this "Breck Girl" crap being spewed at Edwards by you on a regular basis. You know what, Mo?
A lot of us are sick of your garbage . You're one of the worst hack writers I've ever seen, and you seem to
delight in hurting Democrats by harping on the most absurd trivia you can find. (And if you can't find any real trivia,
as was the case with Gore, you simply make it up out of thin air and lie through your teeth.) Well, enough.

Those of us who are tired of your idiocy are calling you on it, loud and clear. You are one of the people responsible
for putting Bush in office in 2000. You feel good about that, Mo? Are you proud? Do like what you helped to do?
(And don't try to argue that you've been rougher on Bush. Your real damage has been to make the Democratic
alternatives to Bush look foolish.) You can take all your cretinous writing about Edwards' haircuts and fold it five times.
I think you know the step I'm going to suggest next.

Sincerely,
 Joseph A. M.

Joe, you were too nice to her.
She's a slut who fabricates silly lies against Democrats
while Bush is busy killing tens of thousands of people.

Benny the Rat: There is no Limbo
What happened to all those millions of babies?

So the Catholic Decider can't make up his mind?
How can they say the "baby" goes to Limbo or anywhere else?
How can a mere mortal change where the "baby" goes after it dies?
Or are they admitting they just made that crap up to fool the sheep?

And why is it a sin to terminate a pregnancy when they admit "it" has no soul?

Could it all just be a scam to raise money from the sick and the old?
Or is it about getting you to trust them with your male children?

Subject: Bush's war is lost

I'm glad Senator Harry Reid finally admitted what most of us already know, that the Iraq war is lost.
Republicans have challenged the Democrats saying that if Democrats really believe the war is lost
then they should cut off funding now. I agree.

Why should we spend another 100 billion dollars and waste another 1000 lives on a lost cause?
Why should we put it off so that the next president has to clean up Bush's mess?

Bush should consider himself lucky that the Democrats are offering some money with a time table.
If Bush vetoes the bill, then that should be the end of funding.

This is Bush's war.
We should lose it while he is still president.

Almost famous
Have you ever really tasted tequila?

 imbibemagazine.com

 Excerpt:
Chances are, you've inhaled it with some combination of salt and lime, or drowned it in orange juice,
but have you ever savored it? Rolled it around in your mouth like you would a fine cognac or single-malt
scotch and let the flavors hang around for a while? Relished each earthy-sweet or mildly spicy, citrusy
nuance before finally swallowing, letting it warm your throat, then exhaling gently through your mouth?
Don't feel bad if you haven't - you're in the majority. But that's changing.

There are two categories of tequila. There's the 100% pure agave and then there's the crap found in
most bars that is half tequila and half Koresh-knows what, they call it "supplemented with other stuff."

Actually, no.  Crap tequila is "supplemented" with vodka because it's is the cheapest liquor of all.
If they mixed pure agave with "sweeteners, colors and flavors" it would only be 23% alcohol and
then you might not throw up all over your brother in law's new Audi after the bachelor party.

The whole issue of gun control in the US is just a sideshow to issues of poverty, anyway.
If you feel the need to have a gun to protect yourself against whom, exactly? Poor folk?
Give 'em some welfare, or better schools so they can get jobs.

I've never felt the need to own a gun.

If you're still obsessed with owning a gun to protect yourself against tyrany,
well: the librarians can tell you you've lost that one already, sucker.

 Boris Yeltsin has died.

Subject: guns

For a person who appears to use logic and reason on most subjects your position on guns
is similar to those who continue to support Bush on the war in Iraq regardless of the facts.

ha ha
I'll bet you a car you can't make that stick.

There appears to be an emotional reason rather than one based on facts.

You are seeing things that aren't there.
How is self defense based on emotion?

Emotions don't change the facts and the facts are that fewer guns mean fewer gun related deaths.

That's obvious - so what's your plan to get rid of all guns?
I know - we could wave a magic wand, turn them into doughnuts and eat them!

Another fact is that stricter gun laws would reduce the chance of a deranged person
getting their hands on a gun. Such a federal law may have prevented the VT massacre.

That's true and if we lived in Canada, Japan or Cuba, we'd have fewer gun deaths,
but we don't live in canada, Japan or Cuba. We live right here in the good old bloody USA
with 300 million people with tempers, 200 million guns and a lively culture of violence.

Having worked in law enforcement for over 20 years I've yet to personally respond to
an incident where a gun was used to protect someone but I've lost count of the number
of suicides, murders, and accidents involving guns that have caused families the loss of a loved one.
 Wild Bill

After 20 years of seeing how crazy and violent people can be,
are you going to try to convince me you don't have a gun in your house?

Of course you do - so why is MY position based on emotion while yours isn't?

Sidebar:
I asked him that in an e-mail and Bill replied,

"Yes, its part of my job to have a gun."

It's everybody's job to protect their family.
If you can do that with a prayer and a phone, God bless you.

A Hostage Situation

 Link

 Excerpt:
You can pretend that it's a normal political dispute. Or you can see it for what it really is: a hostage situation,
in which a beleaguered President Bush, barricaded in the White House, is threatening dire consequences for
innocent bystanders - the troops - if his demands aren't met.

If this were a normal political dispute, Democrats in Congress would clearly hold the upper hand: by a huge margin,
Americans say they want a timetable for withdrawal, and by a large margin they also say they trust Congress, not
Mr. Bush, to do a better job handling the situation in Iraq.

But this isn't a normal political dispute. Mr. Bush isn't really trying to win the argument on the merits. He's just
betting that the people outside the barricade care more than he does about the fate of those innocent bystanders.

Newt blames libs for V-Tech
Newt's approval rating is lower than Bush's

 Link

 Excerpt:
Newt Gingrich (R-Disgraced) told Judas Maximus on ABC's This Whore,
that the elite liberals were to blame for the massacre at Virginia Tech.

Sidebar:
Why can't it just be "the shooting" at Virginia Tech?
I think the whore media gets wood when they say the word "massacre."

Almost ten years ago Gingrich blamed Columbine on liberals.
Judas asked Newt if libs were at fault for Va-Tech and he said,

asked them if he would apply them to Virginia Tech. He said

Yes. I think the the fact is, when you look at the amount of violence we have in games that
young people play at 7, 8 , 10, 12, 15 years of age, if you look at the dehumanization, if you
look at the fact that we refuse to say that we are infact endowed with (sic) our creator,
that our rights come from God - if you kill somebody you're committing and act of evil.

There you go - if you don't believe in the Invisible Cloud Being, if you believe in
a different ICB or (Koresh fordib) science and logic,  then Va-Tech is YOUR fault.

I didn't see this show, but I assume Judas agreed with Newt and then blew him.

I used to work at Canyon de Chelly. I've lived on or near the Navajo Rez for over seven years.
Those "wild dogs" wouldn't have hurt you.  They were just begging for food. Make a threatening lunge
at them and  they run away with their tails between their legs.

And you were afraid  of them? What a pussy.
Carrying a gun for protection doesn't mean you're smart.
It means you're a frightened little pussy.
 Brian Culpepper

Brian, you might have a point - how "pussy" of me to think a pack of wild dogs could be dangerous.
I should have known in 2002 that in 2007, someone would write and say, "Those wild dogs are harmless."

I might be wrong, but I think a pack of wolves can bring down a grizzly.
Granted, what we saw wasn't a "pack of wolves," but then, Mrs. Bart and me aren't grizzlies, either.

BTW, are you a gambler?

What if I rounded up 20 wild dogs you didn't know?
Would you go into a pit with them - unarmed - for, say, $500?

Wait, make it $800 cause it might cost me $300 to bury your dead ass.

Guns, guns and more guns
  by Ted Nugent

 cnn.com

 Excerpt:
Nearly a decade ago, a Springfield, Oregon, high schooler, a hunter familiar with firearms, was able
to bring an unfolding rampage to an abrupt end when he identified a gunman attempting to reload his
.22-caliber rifle, made the tactical decision to make a move and tackled the shooter.

A few years back, an assistant principal at Pearl High School in Mississippi, which was a gun-free zone,
retrieved his legally owned Colt .45 from his car and stopped a Columbine wannabe from continuing
his massacre at another school after he had killed two and wounded more at Pearl.

At an eighth-grade school dance in Pennsylvania, a boy fatally shot a teacher and wounded two students
before the owner of the dance hall brought the killing to a halt with his own gun.

See?
We need everybody armed with semi-autos at all times.
That way, when somebody sneezes, we can all get in on the fun.

LA Cops vs Biggie Smalls

 Link

 Excerpt:
Biggie's family filed another wrongful death suit against the crooked L.A. cops on Monday,
this time naming former LAPD's Raphael Perez and Nino Durden as defendants.

In court documents filed Monday, Biggie's mother charged that Perez conspired with ex-cop David Mack
(now in prison for bank robbery) to kill Wallace as he was leaving a music industry party in Los Angeles.
Wallace, aka Biggie Smalls, was gunned down in his SUV after the party on Mar. 9, 1997.

Perez "has made specific statements that he, together with David Mack, conspired to murder and participated in
the murder of Christopher Wallace" and Durden was on duty with Perez when the killing occurred, the suit alleges.

The complaint also states that, while he was working as a cop, Perez was also a member of a street gang that
took orders from Suge Knight. Knight was also looked at as a suspect in Biggie's killing in light of the murder
coming six months after Death Row star Tupac Shakur was shot to death in Las Vegas.

The LA cops have the stink of corruption all over them in this case.
Their "We can't find any evidence" reeks like a neglected, week-old homicide victim.

Like Nifong at Duke, like Bush in Iraq,
the L.A. cops just can't see that their options have run out.

They're guilty.
You know it,
I know it.
Bob Dole knows it,
the American people know it.

Looks to me like they can write the Wallace family a check for $13M now,
or they can write a check for $60M after all the skeletons come out.

But why the delay?
Why reveal alllll those skeletons?
Why wait to uncorrupt your police department?

Random thought...

Cho killed in a very efficient way.

Had he used a car, he might have only killed 10.
Had he used a gasoline truck, hundreds might have died.

This proves what one suicidal handjob can do,
so why hasn't Al Qaeda struck us in the last five years?

If Cho, with half a brain and $600 could do it, then Al Qaeda could do it
twice a day (like in Baghdad) but they don't and it makes me wonder why...

Osama could hit us if he wanted, but he hasn't - why?

Because he's a decent guy with a point of view?
No.

Because he can't get 20 suicidal handjobs smuggled into the states?
No.

Thousands of Arabs die every week in Iraq, and that doesn't enrage Osama to the point
where he'd signal 50 suicidal handjobs lying low in America to steal a gasoline truck and
have each of those fifty handjobs kill 300 shoppers each?

If you believe the suicidal handjobs haven't struck us at home in five years because Bush
has done such a great job with Homeland Security, then you are guilty of lying to yourself.

If you think that Bush, after all the evidence that's come in, is a master at anything,
then I'm sure that and a $50,000 donation to his Pres Library will get you a Christmas card.

Iraq Disaster May Cool War Fever

 consortiumnews.com

 Excerpt:
America's problems in Afghanistan and Iraq may have one positive effect: They will cause the public
to withhold support for future military interventions that are not absolutely necessary for our security.

That's exactly what has happened in the past and there's no reason to believe the current failed
adventures will be different. After Johnson escalated the Vietnam War and Nixon prolonged it,
the public got fed up again and pressured Washington to end the war without victory.
Like Truman, LBJ was forced to the political sidelines.

Computer Tyme Hosting is owned by Marc Perkel, who first put Bartcop on the Internet back in 1996 and keeps  Bartcop online today.

Marc hosts several other political sites including American Politics Journal, Political StrikesFaux News Channel, Seeds of Doubt and interesting sites like the
Church of Reality - a religion based on believing in everything that is real.

Our motto for this year is - "No Anti-Bush Site Left Behind". So - if you have an anti-bush site and you are  choking on hosting fees or dealing with threats - let us know and we'll help keep you online.

We also have that strongest server side spam filtering on the planet.
Check out Marx Mail for info on how you can have a Spam Free Email Account.
