"There are only so many endorsements you can
get from powerful establishment politicians and the rich and famous

Excerpt: To fully understand the present manifestation
of the Bush family and its excesses,
one must consider its history over several generations,
a difficult and painful undertaking...
Samuel Bush's Buckeye Steel made the gun barrels
for Remington, which also outfitted
the Czar's forces in Russia after contracting
to supply a million rifles to Russia in 1916.
Samuel's son, Prescott Bush (R-Hitlerlover) served
with the French forces during the war
and about his heroic exploits in letters that
were published. But the exploits proved to be
fabricated, forcing Prescott to apologize. But
that didn't deter him - or dim his career prospects.
Prescott was a Yale College graduate and a member
of Skull and Bones along with Averell
Harriman, the son of his father's associate,
railroad magnate E.H. Harriman. Prescott also
married well, wooing the favorite daughter of
financier George Herbert Walker.
During the 1930s, Prescott Bush was a fanatical
opponent of FDR. There were rumors that
Bush tried to encourage a military coup against
Roosevelt in 1933. But the evidence -
while intriguing - has never been conclusive.
Similar secrecy surrounded ownership and control
of Harriman's Union Banking Corp.,
which Prescott Bush administered in collaboration
with backers of Germany's Nazi Party.
I found this story on consortiumnews.com
and it confused me.
Where was the gratuitous Hillary sliming?
Where was the slanting of the facts?
Where was that outrageous mind-reading crap we've
come to expect?
Then I figured it out - this wasn't written by Bob Parry.
It was written by Morgan Strong, who must have hobbies other than hating
Hillary.
Excerpt: They, and the ruthlessly ambitious Debbie
Dingell, want to be behind-the-scenes kingmakers. They want to deliver the nomination to Hillary,
for the sake of their egos and their careers.
Really? They can't be good, decent Democrats who want their candidate to win?
Is it really that simple?
The "good" democrats want Obama and the "evil" Democrats want Hillary?
Does anyone recognize this party?
They are now fighting desperately to keep
from doing the right thing.
Really?
Good and decent Democrats have to fight their urges for evil?
Does anyone recognize this party?
Michigan needs a new round of voting. Especially
if you believe in
democracy, or fairness, or are a person of color.
If only those whites-only Clintonistas would stop their evilness!!
Whites-only Clintonistas hate democracy, fairness and people of color!!
"the corrupt party hacks" "a wholesale revolt" "robbed of their votes" "Hillary forces stole the nomination" "pound hard on the skulls of the creatures" "they really care about far more is power,
control and their own egos" "who wanted to make a name for herself"
I forget - which party is the party of hate?
Why can't Obama voters just prefer their guy?
Why do they turn Hillary into some baby-eating anti-Christ?
I know if I wrote a column with that much hate in it,
I'd be out of business.
Bart, Donna Brazile is a Clinton hater from 'way
back'.
She was Al Gore's Campaign Manager in 2000 and
is the architect
of the strategy that left the Big Dog out of
Gore's campaign.
It figures - that's why CNN has her speak for
the Hillary camp,
which she then trashes and lists her demands
to stay in the Democratic Party.
Gosh, it just wouldn't be the same without her...
Don't be surprised to find her agitating in this
election to ignore Florida delegates,
she didn't fight for Florida voters in 2000 either.
As a longtime lesbian activist (I didn't know!)
you would think she would be pro-Woman too but
I guess the Clinton name trumps even that.

will arrive every day at Obama HQ.
His image will be illuminated by the bipartisan
aura of admiration from prominent Republican
commentators and strategists, as they savor the
promise of his victory over Hillary, long the
object of their hatred. He may well imagine that
they really like him - and surely some of
them do, at least for now.

to him,
George
Will urges Democrats to choose him as "the party's most potentially potent
nominee,"
Peggy
Noonan promises that he will be "bulletproof" against Republican attack.
Yet somehow, the Obamaniax refuse to address those
questions - why?
Why can't they see the trap the GOP bastards
are setting?
Worse, why can't they see it AFTER we point it out to them?
Answer: They don't want to see it, don't want
to hear it - they want to pretend it's not there.
The "don't want to see it, don't want
to hear it" Democrats are gambling with America's future.
Obama supporters are making a serious mistake
talking about the Clintons
the way Republicans talk about them. The last
time Democrats talked about
the Clintons that way was 1994.
Democrats in Congress were convinced by the news
media that the Clintons were poison.
The Democrats fell for it and distanced themselves.
We all know what happened then.
The Democrats lost Congress to the Republicans
for the next 12 years.
If Obama supporters keep this up he may win the
primary,
but he's not going to win the general election.
When Democrats talk like Republicans, Republicans
win.
Odd - not a single comment
on this lying bomb-thrower.

Obama
Why does the Democratic party want to lose so
badly? In every sense of that word?
I wish I knew. I'm so tired of the Republicans - why
aren't the rest of the Democrats?
Why are they so willing to throw away a chance
to unseat those evil, war-mongering, torturing bastards?
I can't really fault people for wanting change,
but they're playing a risky game.
By making Hillary the racist enemy, aren't Blacks
required to vote against her?
Why don't other Democrats want to win?
Who really wants another four years of Republican
control?
If the Obamaniax follow thru with their threat
to stay home in November
we could see another four years of the crazy
Bush Doctrine - in other words disaster.
You have way more strength than I do to keep swinging.
I wish you the best.
If I get another full-time job (laid off Oct.
2004), I'll damn sure donate.

Excerpt: Obama claims superior judgment on the war in
Iraq based on one speech given as a
state legislator in the most liberal district
in Illinois at an anti-war rally in Chicago, and in
so doing impugns the integrity of those who were
part of the debate on the national scene.
In mischaracterizing the debate on the Authorization
for the Use of Military Force as a
declaration of war, he implicitly blames Democrats
for George Bush's war of choice.
Obama's negative attack line does not conform
to the facts. Nothing could be farther
from the truth. I should know. I was among the
most prominent anti-war voices at
the time -- and never heard about or from then
Illinois State Senator Obama.
I'm starting to think that you are the last sane
liberal on the web.
I will support whoever wins the Democratic nomination...but
I gotta
tell you; if Obama gets it, the party that introduced
the term "swiftboating"
into our language will rip him to pieces.
We will lose another election because of treating
the election as an episode of
American Idol rather than what it is....political
war with very high stakes.
Keep swinging.
You always were a voice in the wilderness.
Jay in Topeka
Jay, we don't know that Obama will be helpless
againast the swiftboaters,
it's just that he's never been in a fight - so
we have no idea if he'll survive.
Excerpt: The Hillary-Haters are in charge. They monopolize
the networks, the newspapers, the talk shows
-- both radio and TV. They are crossing their
legs for fear of castration. They are wearing the body
armor our troops never got. Or got too late to
matter. They are determined that a woman will not
prove herself competent as Commander in Chief.
What's their ammunition? Oh, it's simple. They
call her Mrs. Clinton, not Ms. or Senator.
They pull out those nutcrackers in the shape
of her supposed thighs. They complain about her ankles
-- too thick. They complain on Fox TV that "White
women are the problem."
Then they say she has "baggage" -- which could
mean wrinkles, or her husband, or Chelsea whom
they say she is "pimping." Then they say she
never divorced Bill -- as if it's anyone's business.
Then they moon over Obama's rhetorical style.
Then they make it appear that she's a drone or a
worker bee and has no royal jelly. Or else she
has royal jelly and is queen bee. And that's her problem.
If Bill defends her, he's a pimp. If he doesn't,
he's a creep.
If Chelsea campaigns, it's cynical. If Obama
trots out his girls, he's a family man.
If Michelle attacks Hillary, it's news.
If Hillary attacks Michelle -- well she can't
because that would be racist.
Damn, can you believe your eyes? Honesty and sanity from Huffingpost.com?
Bart, even if you clearly prefer Hillary (which
I respect)
please DON'T START SLIMING OBAMA!
What an odd request - why would I slime a Democrat?
The repuglicans will do plenty of that IF he wins
the nomination, and then you'll
be frantically trying to reunite the sensible
people out there around him again.
Sensible people? We have them in the Democratic
Party? :)
So, report as much good about Hillary as you want,
but PLEASE don't spread
stupid crap like the Obama
Criticism - you need to read this piece in your last issue. You can support one
candidate without raping the other.
Do you get that we're in a hueueueueuge
civil war?
Should I not cover or comment on developments
in the biggest story of the year?
Please note: I'm not saying you should
spread crap about Hillary, either!
Just stick to POSITIVE reports about the
Democratic hopefuls.
Save the hate for the sleazy Republicans, OK?
I'm going to mention the facts.
The facts are that Obama is being attacked and
we have no idea if Larry Flynt's
charges are true or not because our new front-runner
is still a mystery man.
Ignoring the facts is almost always a bad idea.
What happened to "I will get behind the front
runner, no matter who it is"?
Purely mathematically, Obama IS now the front
runner, even if this may well
change again once Ohio and Texas vote...
According to CNN (we have to use somebody's "facts")
Obama became
the front-runner for the FIRST
TIME Tuesday night and, of course,
Wednesday morning my mailbox was chock-full of
"Where's your support, asshole?"
After a year of Obamaniax screaming at me for
supporting the actual front-runner,
they want me to turn on a dime the second their
fella finally gets a slim advantage?
Some people do not always act rationally.
Thanks for listening, and keep swinging the hammer!

viscerally hates Hillary,
they all just like Obama better, want some new
direction not found in Hillary.
I think you're sincere, but you are totally wrong.
Christ, have you ever read bartcop.com
before?
Do you think I'm fabricating the Demo hate quotes about Hillary?
They would all vote for her if she is the nominee
and most would be pretty satisfied.
That's not what they say - where would you get
such an idea?
I just do not see this split your talking about.
ChuckB
Chuck, when I link to a news story of Democrats
spewing hate at Hillary,
do you think I faked the quotes, faked the links
and then constructed fake
websites to back up my fabricated quotes?
You're saying there's NOT a civil war in
the Democratic party right now?
Excerpt: Hillary has double-digit leads over Obama in
Ohio and Pennsylvania,
according to Quinnipiac University poll released.
Clinton leads Obama 55 to 34 among likely Dem
voters in Ohio, the poll found.
Among Ohio Democrats, women back Clinton 56 to
30 for Obama,
while men back Clinton 52 to 42, the poll found.
"Ohio is as good a demographic fit for Sen. Clinton
as she will find," Peter Brown,
an Quinnipiac University Polling Institute official,
said in a statement.
In Pennsylvania, Clinton leads Obama 52 per cent
to 36 per cent.
So ...the great civil war is about to get a lot
worse.
If Hillary wins this nomination we'll lost the
Obama voters.
Think of the money I could make if I was willing to sell-out the Clintons.
Quotes
"It really makes me sad to see
so many people get played by the media on this. If you prefer Obama,
fine - but the evil, race-card-playing Clinton campaign is no more real than Al
Gore's claim that he invented the Internet." -- Paul Krugman,
Link
Good point.
When the right accused Gore of claiming he'd invented the Internet,
the Left rolled their eyes and said, "How
can people be so stupid?
Why can't people with a brain just look at the damn facts?"
But today, they believe every Clinton lie that same whore media
feeds them.
Last night my phone rang and a young lady asked
if I was Mr. so and so.
I replied yes and then she went on to ask if
I would participate in a quick
survey from the National Republican Party.
I said sure! She then asked "Which Republican
candidate would you like
to see in the White House this fall?"
I replied "NEITHER, I want to see a democrat in
the White House to fix
the mess that Bushco has done to this country."
She replied that all of this was.....hold on here
it comes....CLINTON's FAULT!
I asked for her to explain how can it be Clinton's
fault? Has he been
the secret president all these years? She stammered
and then in typical
republican debate style she hung up on me!!
You thought you would like this. Keep Hammerin!!
LarryW
Larry, everything IS the fault of the Clintons.
Turn on your TV and you'll get all the "proof" you need.
The thing is that no one can get away with saying
anything even slightly critical about Obama.
If you do, you're either a racist or a Hillary
hugger (aka treasonous).
That's true.
I have to admit, he knows how to get a crowd fired
up, and that's the name of the game,
but I'm concerned that it's all just happy talk
& fluff. Where does he stand on the issues?
Why has he continually voted for the war but
says he's against it? Why isn't universal
healthcare on his agenda? (He's pro-insurance-they're
big contributors). What significant
piece of legislation has he introduced since
being in Congress?
Greg
Greg, those are all race-baiting questions.
Why do you hate black people so much?
"Folks, you've been played like a fiddle by
people in the media who hate the Clintons. They tried to take Hillary down over
her clothes, her voice, her tears. When none of that worked, they invented a race war. There are some good arguments against
Hillary - Iraq, people like Mark Penn, the big-money Dems in her circle. But
this is Al-Gore-invented-the-Internet stuff. And it's deeply depressing to see so
many progressives fall for it." -- Paul Krugman,
Link
Bart, in response to your remarks about why Blacks
view Bill Clinton's comparison of
Obama's and Jackson's campaigns as racist, Read
This.
The author, Keli Goff, explains it much better
than I could
RDoug
RDoug, he did a super-lousy job of explaining things:
Clinton wasn't asked about Jesse Jackson's
campaign. In fact, if he wanted to reference candidates who had "run good
campaigns," won South Carolina and still gone on to lose the nomination he
could have just as easily referenced Edwards. In fact, wouldn't that have made
more sense considering Edwards' win was in 2004 not 1984? The message, subconscious
or not, seemed to be this: "At the end of the day all black campaigns
look alike, run alike and eventually lose alike -- so this South Carolina thing
is really no big deal."
So, the ENTIRETY of their "Clintons are racists" campaign revolves around, "He could have just as easily said this"
and "The message seemed to be this:"
Why would they kick the Clintons to the curb for a "could
have" and a "seemed?"
Is that all Clinton gets for being such a good friend to Blacks that
a Black writer
gave him the nickname of "Our first Black president?"
Is loyalty dead in the Democratic party?
Memo To Barack from Bartcop: Watch out - these Dems will turn on you in a f-ing heartbeat!
Plus, nobody has answered the question yet.
Why is
being equated with Jesse Jackson a horrible,
terrible racial thing to say?
> To me, saying "I'm tired of Bush, Clinton, Bush,
Clinton" sounds like, > 12 years in prison, eight years out,
then eight more years of prison > ...and I'm so tired of living this way!
As someone who has done time, Bart, you hit this
fucking nail on the head so squarely
that i can't believe voters can't see the correlation
between Repubs = shit and disaster
while Dems = at least a modicom of peace and
prosperity for "blue collar joe".....unbelieveable!!!!
BigJim
Obama says we can't have change without him.
Obama says a vote for Hillary is a vote for no change,
as tho he and Edwards weren't kidding about her being Cheney's clone.
"I have to tell you, this election, the feeling
most people get when they hear Barack Obama's speech. My, I
felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often." -- Chris Matthews, the biggest
Obama fan in the country, Link
Barack, watch this queer-acting son of a bitch.
He'll stab you in the back faster than a Democrat.
Excerpt: "I firmly believe that changing the rules now
and seating delegates from Florida and Michigan
would not only violate the Democratic Party's
rules of fairness, but also would be a grave injustice."
Sharpton told The NY Whore Post, "I think the
DNC is playing a dangerous game and could
open the door here for everything from litigation
to demonstration."
"This smacks of the same stuff we accused the
Republicans of in Florida in 2000 . . . changing the rules."
Al Sharpton is making threats
- perfect.
It's a slur to be associated
with Jesse Jackson, but Al's a prince?
It's my understanding those
superdelegate rules were made in 1980.
How is Al going to whine about "changing the rules" 28
years ago?
Bart, I've been reading you since RL-LNW, and
I am a big fan.
I loved the Big Dog, and I like Hillary, and I
think she would be a great president.
Having said that, I've decided to support Obama.
I think the media are much more
of the problem than the solution in American
politics.
I don't buy that for a second - the media made
Obama.
Where would he be without every network fawning
over him?
I will support Hillary if she wins the nomination.
Cool - I'll support whoever wins, too
But continually digging at each other over minor
differences only hurts us
as a party, and I send that message to both sides
of this fight.
Both sides don't need to be told that. Hillary's side has never thrown
the first punch.
She didn't mention Rezko until Obama taunted her about Wal-Mart, remember?
Hillary was the 20-point front-runner, so she had to be
slimed.
She was talking about Bush when Obama started his personal attacks.
That was the only way he could get traction - and boy, he got it.
The whore media joined Team Obama and boom - the Clintons became racist
dogs.
We know the Clintons are not racist
and we know Obama is not a closet muslim.
We all need to ratchet down the rhetoric.
Obama said the Clintons were racists but they never said Obama was
a Muslim. It's not the same - and if Kerry the Quitter has proof they did, he
should fucking say so,
but he hasn't shown any inclination towards having the guts to do anything..
Just trying to bring things into perspective.
Josh in Illinois
Josh, thanks for that, but you're obviously viewing this thru Obama
lenses.
The truth is, this race wasn't close until Obama made it about race.
Do you think he took the lead because of his positions on the issues?
Can anybody name a position Obama has taken, besides "opposed to war?"
Hey Bart, I think the rabid hatred of Hillary
may be not have anything to do
with her but have everything to do with the age
of the average Obama cultist.
They are just acting out their disdain for their
parents. This is a generation who has been told
over and over that things aren't going to be
as good for them as it was for their parents and
they are looking for "the pony". In this
case I don't think it has as much to do with politics as it does
with a wish for a messiah that is going to lead
them to the promised land. They don't care that
he doesn't have a clue how to get there. They
are perfectly willing to drink the Kool-Aid.
"All Hope and No How" is enough and just like
all undeveloped adolescents, they don't want
to hear anything that interferes with what they
"know". Mean old Mother Hillary is a "fuddy duddy"
and Obama is "cool". We have the
Democratic party being destroyed by rebellious teenagers in
their 30's kicking and screaming and yelling,
"If you don't do what I want, I'll hold my breath."
I don't have a lot of hope that they are going
to wake up to reality and realize
that it isn't enough to want something.
There has to be a plan to make it happen.
Excerpt: Hillary will take the nomination even if she
does not win the popular vote by persuading
enough superdelegates to vote for her at the
convention, her campaign advisers say.
Clinton advisers rejected the notion that the
candidate -- and the party -- would be badly
wounded in the general election if the nominee
was selected by a group of party insiders.
More horseshit.
The way I understand it, the superdelegates exist to break ties.
So if we have a tie, they are free to perform their function.
BUT, that doesn't work for Team Obama - why?
Why can't they play by the rules?
Obama backers in the media (which is pretty much every pundit on TV
and radio)
have threatened to elect McCain if Hillary wins by playing by the rules.
Excerpt: Your solution is one way out, but it is not the only way.
Prolonging this race doesn't mean the Republicans
automatically win in November.
