Bart,

You aren't really suggesting that Geraldine's comments were unremarkable, are you?

I think "remarkable" is a good word for what she said.
What she said didn't seem to make sense - any idea what she meant to say?

I found them very offensive, and she's hurt the Clinton campaign by spewing her racial nonsense.

What was it she said that offended you?

She made similar comments about Jesse Jackson in 1988, and you have what appears to be
a die-hard racist speaking out during the critical period of Hillary's quest for the nomination.

Obviously she didn't INTEND to be racist, so what do you think she intended to say?

I haven't made up my mind yet (the PA primary is still weeks away), but this kind of crap
isn't going to encoutage me to vote for Senator Clinton.  She needs to distance herself
from the likes of Ferrarro, or she can kiss the nomination "good-bye".

What kills me about this, is I keep hearing female talking heads refer to Spitzer's
call girl as a "poor confused young woman". Puhleeze, give me a break!

I've seen shots of the front door of the apartment building the girl lives in.
She knew exactly what she was doing for $2200 an hour.

I have no sympathy for her at all, and these idiot women on the news who think she was
taken advantage of are kidding themselves. If anything, she was probably grossly overpaid.

Three weeks ago, his 30 Rock co-star Tina Fey did a pro-Hillary rant on SNL.
Many observers think her rant forced the Whore Media to play a little more fair.
Saturday, Tracy Morgan gave a 4-minute, G-rated pro-Obama rebuttal that's comedy gold.

The Mann Act specifically employs the phrase "under the age of eighteen",
so you won't find a whole lot of well-minded people calling for it's repeal.

When it was passed in 1910, more states had lower age-of-consent threshholds,
so it wasn't uncommon for a guy from Cincinnati (where the age of consent was 16)
to pack his l'il 14-year-old side dish onto a train for a half-hour ride to a Kentucky
hotel (where the age of consent was 14.)

Effectively, the Mann Act preserve's a state's sovereignty over age of consent - otherwise,
as transportation improved, age of consent would be a lowest-common-denominator situation.

Without the Mann Act today, West Virginia (where the age of consent was 12
not too long ago) would be a pedophile's Disneyland.

That's a  good question Bart, but the Obama supporters say Hillary is destroying the Party .
Between the Republican and the Obama supporters I don't see how she can stand all the

Bart, I'm sick over this pissing contest the mainstream media has invented.
Geraldine Ferraro was 100% spot-on with her comment.  Is there anybody who can say
if he were to run the identical campaign as a white man he would still be the front runner?

You and Ferraro might be right, but her comments were as clear as the Second Amendment.
I have no damn idea what she meant, but you could very well be right.

The mainstream media is just finishing the job they started 16 years ago - destroying the Clintons.
And the idiotic, shoot-themselves-in-the-foot, couldn't-win-an-election-if-they-were-the-only
-ones-running Democrats are not only allowing it to happen, but are destroying the legacy of
Bill Clinton's presidency in the process.

Good point. Every attack on Bill reminds voters that even the best of Democratic
presidents were nothing more than petty, racist losers - that helps the bad guys.

Subject: Kos gone crazy with Hillary hate

I've been posting at DailyKos for nearly 4 years now and started writing diaries
in support of Hillary back in June of last year.  Over the past few months I've noticed
that things have become progressively more abusive toward my candidate and her supporters.
I've put up with the abuse and anger because I've always believed in what our on-line
community has tried to accomplish in this world.  No more.

DailyKos is not the site it once was thanks to the abusive nature of certain members.
I will not be posting at DailyKos effective immediately.  I will not help drive up traffic
or page-hits as long as my candidate - a good and fine DEMOCRAT - is attacked in
such a horrid and sexist manner

Sidebar: I won't say which mega-site I saw this on, but one poster started a thread
with something like, "My feet sure do stink" and it had 541 replies last time I looked.

Issue 2126 had me confused.

Reading it, I saw complaints about political correctness, a request for the return of the Frito Bandito
and other antiquated stereotypes, apologia for Jimmy the Greek and a mass defense of  Ferraro's
comments where she implied that Obama is only successful in his bid so far because he's black
(I don't know how that is defensible and doesn't it sound hauntingly like Limbuagh's comment
about Donovan McNabb a few years back?). I thought I had accidentally pulled up a Republican site,
because these are the very things that they have been whining about for years, but no, it was bartcop.com.

Is this the sound white, presumably liberal, democrats make when they feel their backs are against the wall?

Ferraro was trying to make sense of the Obama phenomenon.

You seem to be saying anyone not on the Obama bandwagon can't be a good Democrat.

Issue 2126 had 86 sections that you could complain about.
You didn't like two of those sections, so you thought I'd turned Republican?
