O's Camp: Why is Hillary so evil?

 Link

 Excerpt:
Is it possible to win the Democratic nomination in such a way as to make winning not worth it?
The Obama campaign thinks so. It thinks Hillary's campaign is willing to take any road to the
White House, including the low road. "They would do anything to win, and that means anything,"
David Axelrod, Obama's chief strategist, said as tho he just sort of wanted to win.
"There is a frenetic energy around them to commandeer this election in any way they can,"
whereas we aren't really trying our best to win, we're just coasting along.

Why do people say such nutty-ass things?
And why don't people laugh out loud when they hear that crap?

From Axelrod's point of view, the Clinton campaign keeps trying to change the rules.
Another Obama senior aide told me he believed Clinton was willing to "destroy the party"
just as long as she ends up with the nomination."all

Isn't there some rule about it takes two people to fight?

Let me get this straight:
If neither side backs down, the party is destroyed,  ...and that's Hillary's fault?
Why is it up to her to step down, instead of him?
The score is 49-47 as we start the fourth quarter.

Simply put, both sides will allow the party to be destroyed if the other doesn't step down,
so why are they (and the we-love-you-Obama media) making such a nutty argument?

Obvious Truth:
Both sides want to win.
Both sides will do anything to win.

The media's Obama-is-good and Hillary-is-bad schtick is wearing really thin.
Are the writers still on strike?
Is that why this crap sounds so stale and lifeless?

Quotes

"The Chicago Tribune editorial board has exonerated Obama 100% regarding
his involvement in the so-called Rezko scandal.  Who'd have ever imagined that
sitting down and candidly telling the truth could get you out of a pickle?"
-- John Aravosis, so in love that he's fabricating "facts."   Link

They did no such thing and the "candidly telling the truth" was admitting that
he had been hiding the bigger story - and the full story still hasn't come out.

 To quote the Tribune:
In a 90-minute interview with Tribune reporters and editors, Obama disclosed that
Rezko had raised more for Obama's earlier political campaigns than previously known,
gathering as much as $250,000 for the first three offices he sought.

Rezko's trial has just started.
Maybe John Aravosis has a time machine, and knows how the trial is going to end?

Subject: using your hammer

Bart,

I'll ask these two questions for a third and final time, seeing as
they have gone unanswered in my last couple of attempts.
I'll ask them is as plain English as possible.

I) Why did you say "Hillary never said that" when you knew for a fact she did?

II) Would a Republican ever, under any circumstances, suggest a Democrat
was better qualified than one of his Republican colleagues?

 LEvans

I) I'll quote you:

"While you are technically right that she never literally said
Obama wasn't cut out to be commander in chief..."

Not sure why you'd want me to point out that you're correcting your own mistake.

II)  If Republicans told the truth, and a 24-year guy might run against a 3-year guy,
they might point out that 24 is greater than three.

You don't think the GOP will mention Obama is the new guy?

Rev.'s Rants Shake Voters' Obama Faith

 Excerpt:
More than half of voters are less likely to support Obama for president after hearing the anti-American
rants of his pastor, a shocking poll revealed yesterday. The Rasmussen Reports survey found that
Wright's controversial comments made 56 percent of voters, including 44 percent of Democrats,
less inclined to vote for Obama...Two-thirds of the 1,200 people polled said they knew of Wright's
statements, which have been broadcast repeatedly on media outlets over the past several days.

Subject: Ferraro flap

Bart, I don't get it. Were Ferraro's comments untrue?

Her comments were unclear, so the Obama camp made the most of them.
That's what politicians do - they spin the hand they're dealt..

Obama's race is a factor in his political career, as well as this election;
the same could be said for Hillary's gender.

It has nothing to do with Ferraro's "racism" and everything to do with America's.
Somehow she is a racist for suggesting that racism still exists?
Bizarre.

And the patently misogynistic Chris Matthews stays on the air,
with no such outrage from his fellow "journalists."   Nutty.

Bush helps his old "friend" McCain

Obama's Crazy Uncle

 Link

 Excerpt:
We were all wrong about Obama's exotic past. The same folks who once whispered that
B. Hussein Obama was a mole for radical Islam are now decrying his links to an even more
anti-American cult: the United Church of Christ. And it wasn't Honolulu, or Jakarta, or Nairobi
that put Obama in touch with folks supposedly bent on undermining heartland values. It was the
heartland's biggest city: the South Side of Chicago, where Obama launched his political career.

The South Side is responsible for the black nationalist preachers and violent radicals-turned-professors
whose sound bites and rap sheets have now mired Obama in the worst patch of his presidential campaign.
But without them Obama wouldn't have had a seat in the state Senate, much less a shot at the White House.
And now the black street cred and lefty bona fides they provided, so crucial to Barack Obama's early
local success, are proving corrosive to his national ambitions.

Help Legalize Sex in Minnesota

Subject: Obama and racial division

Bart, Obama has attended this church for twenty years.
He brings his impressionable daughters to hear this hateful speech every Sunday?

Good point.

How in the world can we heal the racial divide if black children listen to this hatred?
How can these children listen to this kind of racially charged demagoguery on Sunday
and then sit next to white classmates on Monday and not feel hatred?
If you are taught to respect the pastor, how can these children grow up without hating white people?

If Barack Obama truly wanted to heal the racial divide, he would not participate in a church
that does not embrace people of all colors and races. If he truly believes in the the teachings
Pastor Wright and his church, how can he be the leader of the USA?

If he did not condone this hatred, he would have quit the church long ago.
Instead, he had Pastor Wright as his campaign spiritual advisor.

Hey Bart,

Love the radio show. You keep getting better all the time.

It's a damn shame you're loosing so many subscribers lately.
I guess some people just can't deal with a bit of logic.

Love the show. Love the format. Like how frequently you've been able to
put the episodes up. I hope you can sustain the pace. I know I can.

But, I've been unable to listen to the latest episodes because of technical difficulties.
All my media players keep buffering the stream up to about 4% - then stop.
About the same happens in the archives.

I was wondering if you could possibly put new episodes up on iTunes.
I've listened to some old ones on there before.
I think iTunes provides a login for subscriber tracks.

Thank you,
 ~AlexG!

Alex, there's nothing odd about those radio files, they're just MP3s.
Are you saying none of your media players will play any MP3s?

Have you tried the download and the listen files and neither works?

It would be odd if you could hear other MP3s but not mine, so lemme know, OK?

Jet mistakenly drops bomb in Knuckledrag

 Link

 Excerpt:
An Air National Guard jet mistakenly dropped a 22-pound non-explosive, practice bomb
on an apartment complex, damaging the foundation but no one was injured, police said Friday.

The military pilot thought he had dropped the BDU-33 bomb, equipped with a dummy warhead,
over a field in Kansas during a routine training mission out of Tulsa on Thursday.

A couple returned home to the Canyon Creek apartment complex and found the ordnance partly
buried in the foundation and the power knocked out, Tulsa Police Officer Jason Willingham said.
The apartment manager said, "God must love the people at Canyon Creek."

Yeah, that's why He dropped a bomb on them.

Bartcop,
This is from 2005 on Obama's own Web site:

Obama acknowledges, with no small irony, that he benefits from his race.
If he were white, he once bluntly noted, he would simply be one of nine
freshmen senators, almost certainly without a multimillion-dollar book deal
and a shred of celebrity. Or would he have been elected at all?

 RR

RR, I get it, and that's cool, but you do understand that Obama is a politician
who yearns to be the most powerful man on the planet - right?
Tell me you're a realist.

You're not thinking that history "drafted" Obama
for some greater Manifest Destiny purpose - right?

Obama wants to be president.
He has an ego.
He wants to win this almost as much as Hillary.
That's OK, mice rarely run for president.

Obama sees himself as a historic figure, a man above men, and that's OK, too,
but he's just a politician who's trying to say the right things to get elected.

It's what politicians do.

Brent Budowsky can say anything he wants, but I called him on a bunch of clumsy lies

"Given that candidate Clinton ...clearly thinks that a lot (if not most) states "don't matter,"
and epitomizes a 1990s style top-down form of doing politics, it's no surprise that for all of 2007,
Clinton never exceeded 11 percent support in the monthly Daily Kos users straw poll,
-- Kos, on how "progressive" his site is  Link

Yeah, Hillary hates the states "that don't matter."
She thinks "the little people" should be kicked off cliffs.
Koresh, how much more could a "c-word" hate America?

And how about, "Change can't happen from the top down,
change must happen from the bottom up?"

Anybody got a freaking clue what that's supposed to mean?

And the fact that the Democrat's 20-point front-runner could never reach 12 percent on Kos,
does that tell you more about the front-runner or does it tell you more about Kos?

The truth is, Hillary ranked below 2 percent on Kos's poll for a year.
And then they said name recognition is what made her the front-runner.

I hope Kos hasn't been driven crazy by all those millions he's earned.
That'd be a shame.

The Folks Who Brought You Iraq
 by Joe Conason

 Excerpt:
"'Well, that's history. That's the past. That's talking about what happened before.
What we should be talking about is what we're going to do now.'

The man who spoke those words was Senator John McCain, and the subject was the Iraq war
and its origins in official falsehood, strategic error and wishful thinking. Expect to hear him repeat
those same dismissive phrases again and again as the presidential campaign unfolds.

Understandably, he prefers to avoid examining how our finest young people and vast amounts of
our national treasure came to be squandered, since he was among the war's most excited advocates."
