"Iraq is not a quagmire - we're bringing
troops home."
--
Kissyface Lieberman, lying to Wolf the Whore Sunday
Of course it's a civil war.
There are many days where there's more sect-on-sect violence than
Al Qaeda violence.
And the reason we're bringing troops home is because they're
exhausted and there's
not enough troops back home to replace them.

1300 Irqai
troops, police dismissed
But things are "going great" - Iraqi troops
are 'standing up'
Link
Excerpt:
Iraq's government moved Sunday to restore discipline
within the ranks of the security forces,
sacking more than 1,300 soldiers and cops who
deserted while fighting Shiite militias in Basra.
The Basra offensive - which began March 25 - quickly
stalled amid strong resistance from the
outnumbered militiamen, despite artillery and
air support provided by U.S. and British forces.
During the attack more than 1,000 security troops
- including a full infantry battalion - refused
to fight or joined the militias, handing them
weapons and vehicles.
"Any soldier who deserts his post during war time should be shot," said
Bush.

12 reasons
'bitter' is bad for Obama
Is this a turning point for Obama?
Link
Excerpt:
1. It lets Hillary off the mat when her top supporters
had begun to despair about her prospects.
2. If you are going to play the clueless liberal,
don't do it in San Francisco.
3. Some people use guns to hunt - not to compensate
for a salary that's less than Obama.
4. Some people cling to religion not because
they are bitter but because they believe it.
5. It vindicates centrist Democrats who argue
that their party looks out of touch with the mainstream.
...and seven more.
Personally, I don't see what all the furor is about, but the whore media
seized on this,
and the Clintons, if anything, know how to accept a gift when its offered
to them.
Plus, for the first time, Obama sees what it's like to be ganged-up
on. Until now,
he's had the freest ride of any politician in my lifetime. Now he gets
a glance at the
real world - when the whore press is against him instead of fawning
all over him.

Subject: McCain's "lead"
Bart,
Once again, ole buddy, you've hit the nail on
the head with a big, f-in' hammer.
This Dem victory won't be as big as Reagan's,
but it will be a massacre for the Repubs.
If Dem turnout is 2X Repub turnout like it has
been in every primary,
the Repubs won't even be able to steal enough
votes to win.
The horseshit of "If (one or the other
wins), I'm voting for McCain"
is exactly horseshit.
The polls are are the WWF of politics, morons!

Subject: Why Obama's Comment
on Guns & Religion is so important
What do Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama,
Virginia, Louisiana, Utah,
Missouri and South Carolina have in common?
A) States that normally vote Republican in the
General Election
B) States that won't take kindly to Obama condescending
remarks on their reliance on religion and guns
C) States where Obama won the Democratic primary
but is trailing versus the GOP candidate (see A above)
D) All of the above
Bart, the answer is D) all of the above.
Obama's "lead" is a house of cards.
He is leading in the overall delegate count because
those states, states any Democrat isn't likely to win anyway,
are largely the ones that have given him that
lead. Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Kentucky, South Dakota and
West Virginia won't take kindly to those remarks
either and those states are still up for grabs.
Because Hillary won all of the big states (save
Illinois, Obama's home state) and is far ahead in the electoral vote
(you know, the votes that actually counts), Obama
needs to pick up all the small states and be able to beat the
Republican nominee in a few of those normally
GOP states. Comments like this, where he pisses on their values,
give them just the excuse they were looking for
to NOT vote for a black man for President.
Sen. Obama has come out to say that he didn't
mean it the way it came out and I believe that.
I'm just not sure with CNN, FOX, MSNBC, etc.
pounding it home, that anyone else will.

Subject: Hillary LOST Texas -
Ha!
Bart, one of your readers wrote:
> "Hillary LOST Texas,
> Have YOU lost your mind?"
This is a big problem with the Obama folks.
Hillary won the popular vote in Texas by
several percentage points. Why isn't that
what counts? Instead, the Obama campaign
relies on their victory in caucuses to show that
the real support in Texas was for their candidate.
It would be sad if this wasn't the very reason
why Obama was winning. Obama's victories
have been powered by caucus wins that limit the
number of people that can vote. It would be
too simple to have people show up, cast their
ballot and leave. How many working mothers
can spend hours caucusing for their candidate?
How many people working two jobs can
afford to spend five hours at a Texas caucus
in the middle of the night?
Obama has won, because his caucuses keep the
working class from voting.
I like the guy, but if we just had primary elections
he probably would have even lost Iowa.
Keep swinging!

I can't tell you how many of my acquaintences
have told me they're going to vote for McCain
because of the favoritism that's been shown Obama

I have a theory.
The net is buzzing about the "mean treatment"
that Ryan Seafoam gave the last Idol reject.
Excerpt:
Ryan said, "Michael, you got the lowest votes,
but last year we didn't cut anyone during
Idol Gives Back week. Well, this week...(long
pause)....you ARE going home."
That was followed by a string of replies saying,
"I'll
never watch that show again,"
but of course they will - they'll be panting
next Tuesday when the show gets close.
So all those people who are swearing they'll vote

Bush's Iraqi
Rape Farm
Link
Excerpt:
While working in Iraq as a "morale coordinator"
for a U.S. government contractor, a Tampa woman
says she was raped by a drunken colleague who
got a key to her apartment from an unlocked storage box.
That was in December 2005, and her attorney said
he's unaware of any criminal charges in the case.
Bush's Justice Department has the authority to
prosecute, but she and at least three other women who say
they were assaulted complain of being trapped
in legal limbo between a military system that doesn't oversee
the private contractors and a justice system
that appears unwilling to do so.
"American women are vulnerable not only to assault,
but to achieving justice," said Sen. Bill Nelson,
a Florida Democrat who since December has been
pressing the Bush administration for answers over
the treatment of U.S. citizens sexually assaulted
by contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Bill Nelson has been "pressing" the Rape Administration
for answers?
How totally brave of
him!!
How many more women will be raped while Nelson "presses" Bush?
Maybe he could get "the lion of the senate" to
"catagorically condemn" Bush's inaction.
Maybe Henry Waxman could send a "hot letter"
expressing his disappointment.
Maybe Harry Reid could make a speech on the senate
floor.
Where is Obama?
Where is Hillary?
Why does everybody treat rape like it's no big
thing?
We knew years ago that female soldiers can't drink
anything after 3 PM because
they'd be at risk using the bathroom after dark.
Has anyone done anything?
If the Democrats had any sac at all, (Should I
even bother to finish this sentence?
they should tell Bush that Iraq funding is frozen
until
the rapists are put on trial.
Democrats should stand up and walk out
and shut down the government.
Do you think the women of America will side with
the pro-rape Bush administration?
Most Democratic men would, too, leaving Bush
with nothing but pro-rape Fascists on his side.
"Why should we stand up for raped women?
We're too busy to stand up for raped women.
This matter is off the table until at least 2009."

Random Ugly
Thought
What if Bush is using rape as a recruitment tool?
Is Bush's refusal to prosecute these rapes good for business?
"Sign up, we'll send you to Iraq and you can
rape bitches to your heart's content."
And if they're raping American women and getting away with it,
don't you think young Iraqi girls are being raped 20 times more often?
Trust me, I know how depraved men can be - especially in packs.
I imagine they have some "Welcome Center" for newly arriving women.
Surely, this organized rape gang has a spotter there.
I can imagine the phone call: "We struck
gold, boys. Today's arrivals include
three hot blondes and couple of curvy brunettes
and a little redhead to die for.
I get the first shot at the redhead, I'll
e-mail you their new addresses later today.
The roofy party starts at 9, so don't be late."
You think this is NOT happening?
If a man can rape any woman he wants, any time he wants, and she's stuck
in legal limbo
and can't press charges - or even leave - you can expect a lot more
rapes will occur.
Can you imagine how it feels to report this crime to your commanding
officer and
have him tell you, "Keep quiet about it or
it's likely to happen again - and again."
And who gave the Justice Department orders to NOT prosecute?

Questions

2. As chairman of the Senate subcommittee
on Foreign Relations you could have held
oversight hearings, called witnesses and offered
alternatives to Bush's disastrous efforts
against A Qeada in Afghanistan. Your subcommittee
held none and provided no alternatives
to Bush policy that you condemn, why?
Assuming the facts are as stated, that's another
good question.
3. In the Senate you have one of the poorest

and you often simply vote present on thorny issues,
why?
Is that a fair charge?

Obama gives
Hillary an Opening
Link
Excerpt:
A political tempest over Obama's comments about
bitter voters in small towns has given Hillary
a new opening to court working class Democrats
10 days before Pennsylvanians hold a primary
that she must win to keep her presidential campaign
alive.
Obama tried to explain his remarks while also
conceding he had chosen his words poorly.
"If I worded things in a way that made people
offended, I deeply regret that," Obama said.
But the Clinton campaign fueled the controversy
in every place and every way it could, hoping charges
that Obama is elitist and arrogant will resonate
with the swing voters the candidates are vying for not only
in Pennsylvania, but in upcoming primaries in
Indiana and North Carolina as well.
Political insiders differed on whether Obama's
Friday comments would become a full-blown political
disaster that could prompt party leaders to try
to steer the nomination to Clinton even though Obama
has more pledged delegates. Clinton supporters
were eagerly hoping so.
And to prove she was a "regular gal," Hillary went to a bar and ordered
a beer and a shot of whiskey.
Watch
Hillary do her shot of Crown while holding a giant beer.
"Hillary stood by the bar and took(What
does that mean?) a shot of Crown Royal. She
took one sip
of the shot, then another small sip, then a few
seconds later threw her head back and finished off the whole thing.
ha ha
Now I love her!
ha ha
Will that impress working-class Democrats?
There's a teeny, tiny, Bush's-brain-sized chance that our next president
will be elected
because she had a beer and a shot with the little people, while "elitist"
Obama didn't.
My good friend Zepp
wrote: "You won't find a single person

Excerpt:
Obama lashed out at Hillary, mocking her sudden
vocal support for gun rights and saying
he understands the concerns of working class
people.
"She knows better. Shame on her. Shame on her,"
said Obama, trying to get a chant going.
Obama has spent two days on the defensive after
comments he made suggesting working class
people are bitter about their economic circumstances
and "cling to guns and religion" as a result.
Clinton has pounded him for the remarks, calling
him "elitist and divisive."
"She is running around talking about how this
is an insult to sportsmen, how she values the
Second Amendment. She's talking like she's Annie
Oakley," Obama said. "Hillary Clinton is
out there like she's on the duck blind every
Sunday. She's packing a six-shooter. Come on,
she knows better. That's some politics being
played by Hillary Clinton."
The Clinton campaign "returned fire."
"For months, Obama and his campaign have relentlessly
attacked Hillary's character and integrity
by using Republican talking points from the 1990s,"
said spokesman Phil Singer. "The shame is his.
Hillary does know better - she knows better than
to talk down to voters like Senator Obama did."

have come to be that Microsoft suggests
Osama when you type in Obama. Sheesh.

We
have tons of great 'toons on the Bart
Blog!
You
like 'toons?
Iraq
pumped
3.5M
barrels daily before
Bush invaded
and then they got their 2003 Halliburton
upgrade
Bush is stealing $220,000,000
every
day.
No wonder they were so eager to start
a war,
It's the biggest theft in Earth's history.
Exxon made
$10B
$11.66
billion in profit in 90 days
Gouging
us to the tune of
$129 million
profit per day

Gouging us to the tune of
$1,300
profit per second
because Bush started a fake war
...and what did it cost America,
besides $3 trillion of debt for your kids?
Some people celebrate Bush's bloody oil war...
Some don't.
x 4,032....4,034
We lost another 2
soldiers since last issueweek.
We have 4,034
dead soldiers.
Hey guys, we'd like to bring you home,
but Bush is busy drinking lemonade.
Remember...
Exxon
makes $108M - $128M
every day
That's why
Bush
raped Iraq
and
killed
Saddam
How do we
know for sure?
Iraq's
oil wells have NO METERS!
$200M-400M
a day missing
Where's that money going?
Bush has killed more Americans than Osama.

Excerpt:
Green jacket? Those weren't roars echoing
across the hallowed grounds of Augusta Sunday, they were moans.
And that massive clicking sound you heard was
the nation switching its TV sets to America's Funniest Home Videos.
Actually, there wasn't much difference between
those humorous home videos and CBS's wall-to-wall coverage
of Tiger Woods' putrid putting stroke Sunday.

was previously posted in BCR

Sorry about that, but it's hard to do these shows
by myself, in a hurry and with a very small brain.
One reason I didn't think it made it in any recent shows
is because nobody complained that I was being unfair.
Rather than attempt a speechectomy, let's just move on
There is an anti-technology rant at 24:10
that you might find amusing.
