Report Cost Obama Pennsylvania?
"Outrage
& Fury at Obama"
Is this the opening Hillary's been waiting
for?
Excerpt:
Obama made a problematic judgment call in trying
to explain working class culture
to a much wealthier audience. He described blue
collar Pennsylvanians with a series
of what in the eyes of creamy (?)
Californians might be considered pure negatives:
guns, clinging to religion, antipathy and
xenophobia.
I'm not rejoicing, and this could easily be nothing,
but late Friday,
CNN was playing it like Obama was caught with
a live goat.
And the irony of wehateclintonssooooomuch.com
being the cause...
Quotes
"There are a lot of dead carcasses on the road,
and the vultures are out sniffing.
This is the cycle of Wall Street. When
bubbles crash, you get the value guys
who come in and say, 'This thing is
cheap.' "
--
Andy Kessler, former hedge fund manager, Link
Hell, he could've read that on bartcop.com
years ago.
I've said dozens of times: "It's
a Republican's job to crash the economy so the
super-rich can swoop in and buy companies
and assets for pennies on the dollar."
That's not the "cycle of Wall Street."
That's stupid people voting for a crooked Republican who says,
"I'll
cut your taxes,"
but then cuts the taxes of the super-rich, causing you you to
lose your job and your house.
I'll bet the average voter spends more time reading movie reviews
- because he's thinking
about investing $8 on a movie - than reading about candidates
for president who ends up
in the White House because he seemed like a guy you'd like to
have a beer with.
Swear to Koresh, if more people would read bartcop.com,
more people would still have jobs and houses.

Poll shows
McCain leads Dems
Link
Excerpt:
Internal RNC polling data shows McCain with a
solid lead over both Hillary and Obama.
Powered by the same appeal to Democrats and independents
that fueled his primary election success,
McCain is leading Obama 48 to 42 and Hillary
51 to 40.
Horseshit!
He's moved ahead of the two Democrats by consolidating
support among Republicans, but also by
retaining his backing among independents and
picking up a small chunk of cross-party support.
I don't believe it
Among independents, McCain leads Obama 48 to 39
and Clinton 54 to 34. Among Democrats,
he leads Obama 48 to 39 and Hillary 54 to 34.
Don't believe it - not for a minute.
Last poll I saw, 81% of the country
said we're in the wrong track.
McCain offers four more years of Bush, and who's going to vote for
that?

Cheney, others OK'd torture for helpless suspects
Link
Excerpt:
Bush bastards from Cheney on down signed off
on using torture against helpless suspects
after asking the Justice Department to endorse
their legality, The Whore AP has learned.
The officials also took care to insulate President
Bush from a series of meetings where
CIA interrogation methods, including torture,
were discussed and ultimately approved.
Between 2002 and 2003, the Justice Department
issued several memos from its Office of
Legal Counsel that justified using torture.
"If you looked at the timing of the meetings and
the memos you'd see a correlation," the former
intelligence official said. Those who attended
the dozens of meetings agreed that "there'd need to
be a legal opinion on the legality of these tactics"
before using them on the helpless suspects."
Ted Kennedy sounded off: "Who would have thought
that in the United States of America in the
21st century, the top officials of the executive
branch would routinely gather in the White House
to approve torture?" Kennedy said in a statement.
"Long after President Bush has left office,
our country will continue to pay the price for
his administration's renegade repudiation of the rule
of law and fundamental human rights."
Well, that'll teach those Bush bastards to break the law.
They get a tongue lashing from "the lion of the senate."
You can bet they'll never break the law again.
Why, John Conyers might write them a hot letter!

And the Democrats just sat there and let them get away with it.
If they asked me for advice, I'd tell them to speak these sentences.
"Fine, but could you please answer the question?"
"I'm sorry, but I still haven't gotten an answer
to my question."
"So why can't I get an answer to my question?"
"What's it going to take to get an answer to
my question?
"Have you been ordered to not answer this question?"
"Did the President or Vice President order you
to mislead us?
I have a feeling those six questions would make every news broadcast

Sometimes, the press can be fed a confrontation - they love that -
but the Democrats
refuse to confront the lying sons of bitches so they know they don't

Subject: Bush's promoter in PA
charged with male rape
Bart, this man has strong connections to Rick
Santorum and President Bush.
Glen
Bruce
Barclay
CARLISLE, Pa. -- A police search warrant document
details lurid allegations of male prostitution
and secret sex tapings at a former Cumberland
County commissioner's home. Bruce Barclay resigned
last week after officials confirmed that a male
had accused him of rape.
Police said Bruce Barclay told them he recorded
as many as 500 sexual encounters and that subjects
were not aware they were being taped. Cameras
were secreted inside radios, motion detectors and
intercom speakers, according to a search warrant
affidavit.
These days, it's tough to find a straight Republican

With that Texas GOP Rape Farm in the news, it
makes me wonder if
those stories about the GOP and the child sex
ring in the eighties were9true.

Parry's
Hillary Problem
A nice lady sent me a senate financial disclosure form.
It was 34 pages so I read thru it at 95 MPH and here's what I found.
When it comes your assets,
they want to know the general range.
It's my guess it might be a crime if you intentionally check
the wrong box.
But for income,
they only want to know if you made more or less than $1,000.
Remember - this is their example of how to fill out these forms.
Looks like the senate member puts their specific info on the top line
and the spouse puts their income in the second line and "Over
1,000" is their example.
I think Bob Parry gambled (and lost) that nobody would locate this form
and
discover that he was, at best, stretching a point to slur an innocent
couple.
Since their own example says, Put 'Over
$1,000' here if your spouse made more than $1,000
why did Bob Parry accuse the Clintons of "downplaying" Bill's income?
The answer would appear to be - the truth wasn't
damning enough,
so Bob Parry "sexed up" the story to make the
Clintons
look guilty when, in fact, he knew they
were innocent.
Why would Bob Parry risk his reputation to stick one more shiv into
Hillary?
Why can't he just tell the truth?
Disclaimer:
Like I said, I read this at 95 MPH and I'm no good with 34-page forms
with tons of fine print,
but I saw "Over $1,000" when it
was income and the general
range when it came to assets.
Parry's bitch was Hillary "downplaying" Bill's income - but the form
seems to be calling Parry a liar.
to see/download the senate's PDF and correct me if I'm wrong.
And like I've said many times, if the Clintons are soooo
evil and soooo guilty,
why do their accusers have to make shit up? Why can't they attack
with the truth?

Let Obama-Clinton
fight it out
by Gene Lyons

Excerpt:
If it's such a lead-pipe cinch that Hillary can't
win, why are so many people indignantly demanding
that she drop out ? What harm can come from letting
this fascinating seven-game series play out?
Indeed, I'd go so far as to say it's her patriotic
duty to continue.
<snippage>
MSNBC, which sold itself as the anti-FOX News
network, has turned into an unintentional parody of same.
Most nights, Keith Olbermann outdoes Stephen
Colbert for smug selfsatisfaction. (Except Colbert's kidding)
His once-indispensable program has become the
"Obama Hour," with the same pundits repeating the same
predictable opinions every night.
<snippage>
Here's how Kos put it: "No matter how you define
victory, Barack Obama holds an insurmountable lead.
He leads in the one metric that matters most:
the pledged delegates chosen directly by Democratic voters.
But he also leads in the popular vote, the number
of states won and money raised." Kos concludes that
Clinton's "ephemeral" chance of victory "rests
with a coup by superdelegate," warning that "if Beltway
bigwigs steal a hard-won victory, it would amount
to a declaration of civil war."
Virtually all of this happens to be factually
false.
If Kos said it, you can bet it's false.
Evidently, it's OK for Massachusetts superdelegates
Kerry and Kennedy to pledge their votes to Obama,
even though Clinton won the state's primary decisively.
How, then, can Obamaphiles call it an anti-democratic
outrage for other superdelegates to support Clinton,
even if she wins their states, too?
Damn, Gene is hitting the ball like it's a Home
Run Contest.
He must be getting tons of hate mail.

Subject: Randi's problem
Bart,
I did not enjoy Randi's 'comedy without jokes
stand-up' rant.
My guess is that alcohol is a factor. Randi's
pretty open about
getting shit-faced on a given night and I don't
blame her.
Fact is, we all need a wakeup call now and again
to straighten up and fly right.
If I pissed off a few people while doing my job,
I'm sure I'd hear about it, too.
Hopefully, her attitude will improve and she'll
figure out what an ass
she's been the last couple weeks with the Hillary/Dem

No place for that this year. We need to win.

The Texas
Rape Farm
The more we hear, the worse it gets.
One of
the bastards has twenty wives - underage, I assume.
The local
sheriff had an undercover agent inside for FOUR YEARS
and they let those bastards
keep on raping those children.
The local sheriff said they'd
like to arrest the child-rapists,
but it's such a "complicated legal minefield," they
decided to wait.
They said some of the girls didn't
even know how old they were.
In Red states, all you need is a "Praise Jesus" sign on the wall and
you can
rape as many children as you want and the Red law will look the other
way.
If bet if some cop heard a rumor that someone thought they might've
smelled pot,
they'd be in there with tanks and dogs and bust those darn hippies
ASAP.

Subject: Randi
Hi Bart,
Simple question about people who are crying foul
over Randi's suspension because of free speech.
What is her contract like?
Free speech means she can't be arrested/prosecuted
etc, but if there's something in her contract
about AAR reserving the right to take her off
the air for discretionary reasons or if they consider her
to be an embarrassment then they are within their
rights. Randi may not like it, her fans may not like it,
but it wouldn't be "wrong" if it's in the contract
she signed.
Apparently she had no contract.
Or maybe her contract had expired and she was
working without one.
At any rate, I don't think its funny to refer
to someone as a "f--ing whore." Women in positions of power
or who have opinions get called all sorts of
names that men don't (shrill, harpy, whore) and I would really
think that Randi would recognize that.
She probably had to put up with some of that hate herself in the past.
Wish the insanity would end!
Glad I have Bartcop for a bit of sanity.
Elly
I was hoping Randi might apologize and come back as the old Randi,
the Randi that wasn't laser-fixated on Hillary every minute of every
broadcast hour.
Update: Randi was on Larry King for 5 minutes last night.
"Dat's
right!"
She said AAR has new owners (Again?) and they didn't like her contract
so they fired her
at the very first opportunity. Larry promised he'd have her on next
week to "tell the full story."

Subject: Answer to one of your
questions
Bart, you published:
1. You stated that you were not in the Senate
in October 2002 when Bush rammed through
the resolution authorizing the use of force
in Iraq. But you also stated that "perhaps the reason
I thought it was such a bad idea was I didn't
have the benefit of U.S. intelligence."
This implies that you might have voted for
the war if you had been in the Senate when the vote was taken.
Why then do you condemn Hillary and other
Senators who voted for the war authorization resolution
when you admit the possibility that if you
had been in the Senate you would have done the same?
This person is missing the point.
Obama is taking a jab at the incompetence of
U.S. intelligence agencies who "found" WMD in Iraq.
Obama is saying that he had the latitude to think
freely on the Iraq question because he wasn't subject
to the propaganda and pressure coming from the
Bush administration's intelligence community.
CBoaz
Sure, that's possible, but it's also possible that his words speak for

Excerpt:
How has the United States economy gotten to this
point?
Recessions happen. The bigger problem is that
the now-finished boom was, for most Americans,
nothing of the sort. In 2000, at the end of the
previous economic expansion, the median American
family made about $61,000, according to the Census
Bureau's inflation-adjusted numbers. In 2007,
in what looks to have been the final year of
the most recent expansion, the median family, amazingly,
seems to have made less - about $60,500.
This has never happened before, at least not for
as long as the government has been keeping records.

need is more tax cuts!"

Subject: Randi
Dear Bart,
I am enough advanced in years that I have a different
sense of "funny" than many in the
younger generation. Randi Rhodes's defense
was that she was doing a stand-up comedy routine.
She must not be very good at this due to the
fact that she had to resort to calling two of our most
talented political women a couple of f-ing
whores. I cringe when I type this. But more to the point,
I don't understand why this label applies to
these women?
Kathleen
With Hillary, her complaint is when you deal with her, "You
have to read the fine print."
But Randi avoids the bigger issue - if you want to be a "stand-up comic,"
that's fine,
but you don't get to talk policy with high ranking Democrats if you're
in it for the yuks.
That's why Imus got in trouble - you can't call Blacks "nappy
headed hos"
and then expect to interview Colin Powell on your radio show the next
day.
Randi didn't become "a stand up comic" until she got caught.

Questions
for Obama
8. Following a speech by Hillary praising
LBJ for his role in helping pass the 1964 Civil Rights Act,
an Obama campaign advisor privately released
a four page memo urging hammering Clinton for
denigrating Dr. King. Yet, you
told reporters that neither you nor anyone in your campaign had
made the accusation that Clinton denigrated
King. Why did you say that when clearly it was the
memo from your campaign advisor that triggered
the media and public assault on Clinton regarding King?
Assuming the facts are as stated, that's another
good question.
Anybody got an answer?.

Teri Hatcher looked better than she sang.
Can Miley Cyrus really be only 15?
Jimmie Kimmel did a disgusting stand-up act, mentioning
Simon Cowell "oversized" nipples for about six jokes too many.
Bono, Annie Lennox and Forest Whitaker had heartbreaking reports.
(Can you imagine losing both parents to AIDS, you're 15 and on the
street
you have three younger brothers and sisters to take care
of?
Can you imagine a mother having lost three children to AIDS?)
Bono held up okay, but Annie and Forest each broke down.
Bono's been doing this for decades
Fergie and Heart did a couple of songs, but the Tornadoe
Vortex Signature
killed the picture and sound - was it any good?
I forget the rest, but didn't Mariah Carey look her best ever?
And when she
hits those high notes - ain't nothing in music like it.
Randy, Paula and Simon should've tapped the "Idols" on the shoulder,
pointed to Mariah and said, "That's
what we're talking about."
Just asking - you know me - never one to start a fight,
but is there anybody else who can do what she does?
Whitney can't, Aretha can't, Christina can't - who's left?

Show 138
Note: The Obama speech section of BCR
138
was previously posted in BCR
135.
Sorry about that, but it's hard to do these shows
by myself, in a hurry and with a very small brain.
One reason I didn't think it made it in any recent shows
is because nobody complained that I was being unfair.
Rather than try a speechectomy, lets just move on
BCR 139
will go up Monday at the latest
It has all new parts :)
