Declare the Race Over
The whore Times cites the whore Post
and calls that "news?"

Excerpt:
It started with a cute smirk from Tim the Whore:
"We now know who the Democratic nominee's
going to be, and no one's going to dispute it,"
Then Whore Drudge picked it up, and the feeding
frenzy was on.
Russert, Matthews, FOX News et al would
each give an arm to have Hillary drop out. They are
deliriously happy to run against the

Subject: a simple question
Hey Bart,
Why is it racist to point out the fact that She
gets upwards of 70% of the white vote?
But it isn't racist to gush over the fact that
Senator Obama is getting 90% of the black vote?
RJ San Francisco
New subject?
I am astounded that almost every
black voter in America has thrown away the relationship
they've enjoyed and benefitted from, of
the 17-year, best friends they've ever had in the White House.
I get that they like having one of their
own (That's OK, right?) become the most powerful man
on the planet, at least I think I get it
- sometimes it's hard to walk in someone else's shoes.
But I would've expected more of a 60/40
split, with the 60 leaving for Obama.
I understand the "desertion" figure goes
as high as 92-93 percent.
Did the Clintons deserve a 92% desertion
rate?
Especially since nobody can say what their
"crime" was?

NARAL to
Hillary: Drop Dead!
Link
Excerpt:
The Naral Pro-Choice America group has thrown
Hillary under the bus.
That decision has created an uproar among some
of its affiliates and other advocates. Many said that
Hillary had as good a record on reproductive
rights as Mr. Obama (Better, since Obama
is a newbie)
and that there was no need to take sides in the
Democratic primary. The endorsement came as a blow to
the Clinton campaign. Mrs. Clinton has had the
support of the group throughout her political career.
Chief back-stabber, Elizabeth Shipp, said there
was a feeling that endorsing Mr. Obama might help
Naral shed its image as an organization for white
women only.
That endorsement might shed a shitload of longtime
supporters too.
Stabbing the Clintons in the back has become
a coast-to-coast sensation.
I'm watching Popeye throw away his Spinich - that's
sad.
Come November, how many times will we read,

Why we Love

by Hamas, if you believe the Nashville City Paper
nashvillecitypaper.com
Excerpt:
Ahmed Yousef, a top political adviser for Hamas,
told WABC radio that the group supports Obama.
"We like Mr. Obama. We hope he will (win) the
election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy,"
Yousef explained. Hamas has long been designated
as a terrorist group by the U.S. State Department.
The Obama campaign claimed to be 'flattered' by
the Hamas endorsement, and Obama himself told
the Atlantic magazine that he understands why
Hamas would support him.
1. Don't scream at me if I warn you what the GOP bastards are using

2. Either the Nashville City News makes FOX look honest by comparison

On September 15, 2012, a restaurant worker enters
a hospital in Guangdong, China
complaining of flu symptoms. This single event
ignites a conflagration of disease that
burns its way around the world, leaving death,
recession, revolution and war in its wake.
In THE THIN WHITE LINE, author Craig DiLouie presents
a terrifying vision about
how a pandemic might unfold, focusing on the
Canadian experience but relevant to any country.
Reading as if it were a non-fiction book describing

THE THIN WHITE LINE combines a realistic, meticulously

dramatic firsthand accounts of people who survived

same superdelegates apologize for their bad judgment in
thinking a candidate who lost 40% of the Democratic

Election Day -- should even still qualify

The reason the super-delegates exist is to change the nominee

Am I right?
Isn't that their primary reason for existing?

An injection that dramatically relieved the symptoms
of Alzheimer's disease within minutes
would qualify as the discovery of the decade.
That is exactly what was claimed yesterday
for an experimental treatment being tested in

and mumbles incoherently as she asks him identify
everyday objects such as a bracelet

But five minutes after being injected with etanercept
- according to the film which was

not recognised her for years. Mr Miller
then hugs her.

Clinton
navigates 'perfect storm' of naysayers
by Gene Lyons
Link
Excerpt:
Also like Gore, she's motivated more by duty
than most politicians. Unfriendly eyes see her
determination as "entitlement." Misogyny runs
deeper in American culture than many admit;
brainy women are seen as unnatural. The camera
doesn't love her the way it loves Sen. Obama.
Her candidacy has encountered what a friend calls
a "perfect storm" of progressive idealists
merging with Clinton-hating celebrity courtiers
in the "mainstream" media.
Clinton didn't help herself with an infelicitous
demographic allusion, citing an AP story "that found how
Obama's support... among working, hard-working
Americans, white Americans, is weakening again."
This prompted even so normally sensible an observer
as my good friend Joe Conason to compare
her to George Wallace. Bart's
super-sensible take on that can be found HERE.
Under the politically correct rules of engagement
preferred by the Obama camp, only the Illinois senator
gets to make ex cathedra observations
about such ticklish matters as race and class, which must be
treated as infallible. Pundits like Herbert and
The WaHoPo's Eugene Robinson have been chattering
about the so-called "Bradley effect" ever since
New Hampshire, but the Clinton camp must not.
It wasn't the Clintons who "racialized" the campaign
at all. It was the Obama campaign, seemingly for
the sake of galvanizing African American voters
in must-win South Carolina. (See Princeton historian
Sean Wilentz's article, "Race Man: How Barack
Obama Played the Race Card and Blamed Hillary,"
in The New Republic.- Below
)
That tactic, along with Rev. Wright, transformed
his candidacy.
Most also think (race and Wright) it's a foolhardy
way to avoid discussing the realities of the Electoral
College, which is what Clinton was trying to
do. Regardless of why working-class white voters don't
support Obama, no Democrat can win without them.
Can anybody name two states that Obama can
win that John Kerry lost in 2004 ?
For all the "crowing about what a super party
organization The Precious has built, makes me go
'So where were those voters in Indiana ? Pennsylvania
?... His efforts didn't make a difference for him
in Ohio, Texas, Massachusetts or California....
Obama backers won't talk about the holes in their plan. If Obama loses
twice in PA, OH,
TX, MA and CA, McCain will surely win and it won't help to hear the
logicians say,
"We tried to warn you, but you screamed 'racist' at me and you refused
to listen."
Note:
Gene Lyons has become one of THE best players on our team.
You Obama folk, read Gene's entire article and show me where he's wrong,
show me his
screaming rage and his illogical fantasies, show me his
wild-ass
exaggerations and
show me where he claims he can read minds - you won't find it.
What you find are reasonable opinions forged from cold, hard facts and
a deliberative temperament.
In other words, it's the exact opposite of Eddie, Randi, Chris Matthews,
Keith Olbermann, ad nauseum.
Trouble is - today's whore media rewards shrill idiocy and calm reason
has been kicked aside.
How Obama
played the race card and blamed Hillary.
OR, how Obama teamed up with the whore media to destroy the
Clintons.
Link
Excerpt:
After several weeks of swooning, news reports
are finally being filed about the gap between Obama's promises
of a pure, soul-cleansing "new" politics and
the calculated, deeply dishonest conduct of his actually-existing campaign.
The Democratic campaign became truly tangled up
in racial politics--directly and forcefully introduced by the
pro-Obama forces. In order to explain away the
shocking loss, Obama backers vigorously spread the claim
that the so-called Bradley Effect had kicked
in.
The very next morning, Obama's national co-chair,
Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., played the race card more directly
by appearing on MSNBC to claim in a well-prepared
statement that Clinton's emotional moment on the campaign
trail was actually a measure of her deeply ingrained
racism and callousness about the suffering poor.
And so the Obama campaign headed south with race
and racism very much on its mind--and on its lips.
(Then) came the MLK-LBJ controversy.
The Obama campaign and its supporters chose to pounce on the
remark as the latest example of the Clinton campaign's
race baiting. Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina,
a black congressman--pressured by the Obama campaign
arousing his constituency--felt compelled to repeat
the charge and told the New York Times that Clinton
had disparaged King.
Several of the Times's op-ed columnists, including
Bob Herbert and Maureen Dowd as well as Frank Rich,
rushed to amplify how Hillary was playing dirty,
as did the newspaper's editorial page, which disgracefully
twisted her remarks into an implication that
"a black man needed the help of a white man to effect change."
Obama said, "Senator Clinton made an unfortunate
remark, an ill-advised remark, about King and LBJ."
"There's no question that there's politics here
at work too," said Jonathan Martin of Politico.
"It helps [Obama's] campaign to... push these
issues into the fore in a place like South Carolina."
Among those dismayed by Obama's tactics and his
supporters' was Bill Moyers. "There was nothing in
[Clinton's] quote about race," he observed. "It
was an historical fact, an affirmation of the obvious."
Moyers said the furor appeared to be dying down
and that everyone seemed to be returning to their senses
and apologizing--"except," he pointedly noted,
"the New York Times."
On CNN, Donna Brazile hurled the wild charge that
Clinton had likened Obama to a child. "And I will tell you,"
she concluded, "as an African American I find
his words and his tone to be very depressing." With those kinds
of remarks-- "as an African American"--the race
card and the race-baiter card both came back into play.
Bill Clinton said, "Jesse Jackson won in South
Carolina twice in '84 and '88 and he ran a good campaign.
And Senator Obama's run a good campaign. He's
run a good campaign everywhere. He's a good candidate
with a good organization."
According to Obama and his supporters, here was yet another example of
subtle
race-baiting.
Jesse Jackson criticized the Obama campaign, saying,
"again, I think it's some more gotcha politics."
For the Obama-inspired press corps, it was the
Clintons who were playing the race card. "The question now
is how much more racial friction the Clinton
campaign will gin up," wrote Frank Rich, Obama's vehement
advocate in the New York Times.
If you take away the lying whores from the New York Times,
and you allow for the "enthusiasm"
of young Obama supporters, can anybody show me any evidence of
Clinton racism anywhere?

Reminder
To those who follow the truth as told by my good
friend Randi, it might not hurt to
remember that in 2004, she guaranteed
a Kerry victory, even in the final days.
I knew we'd lost in September, but Randy
was triple-confident that Kerry was a "great closer"
and after Kerry's dive/disaster, Randi never
had to pay a price for misleading her congregation.
...not that I'm demanding she pay that price,
but if you're never held responsible for
your failed guarantees, you have the freedom
to promise anyone anything at any time and
there's a chance Randi is repeating her "mistakes"
from 2004 right now.
A guarantee is only as good as the person making
it. That's why we mock Nancy Grace,
because she always guarantees what someone else
was thinking when they for-sure
committed the crime that the govenment alleges
they committed.
And when it turns out that Nancy Grace was wrong all along,
she changes the subject and unfairly attacks the next guy.
False accusations can be great "entertainment," and they get ratings.

Now, it doesn't get any more real than that. However
neither choice amounts to a guarantee.
None of the recent events can lead one to the
conclusion (I took the liberty of saying "conclusion" since you
took said these are our "choices") that Obama
is likely to lose because he's black, nor that Hillary would be
a lock to win because she's white. She's
still a woman, and if we are to continue along the path of reality,
we have to acknowledge that many of these same
voters who have acknowledged their racism, are sexist too.
With Obama out of the way, sexism will come to
the fore. So we're taking a chance either way.
You are correct - I should have been much more
precise.
I think Obama will win if he can do a half-decent
job defending himself. (But shit happens)
And it's certainly possible that Hillary could
lose, but I can't see how. (But shit happens)
Maybe if she was his running mate...the party
could heal itself overnite
AND Obama would have the Clinton magic to work
with, instead of against him.
Obama could say, "I
couldn't be a part of a Clinton/Obama team because we must have change,
but an Obama/Clinton team will allow that
change to happen and her experience will be helpful."
That said, both
candidates do well against McCain nationally,
so its too soon to start hitting the panic buttons.
Regards,
Clark

Subject: Will the Democratic
Party survive?
Bart,
I keep hearing this question, and it's made me
think. Historically, if the nomination process is close,
the second-place finisher has right of first
refusal on the VP position and a lot of influence on the platform.
As long as the winner has the class to offer those
rewards to the second-place finisher, we have a strong Party.
But if the nominee completely disses the second-place,
and his or her campaign pushes hate-filled stories
about the other, that could destroy the
Party.
As long as nothing like that happens, we'll win
this November, no matter which
of the two strong candidates ends up with the
prize.
Russ
I like that and remember, Obama has put himself
in a bit of a trap. One of his biggest claims
is that he can "reach across the aisle"
and get things done for the good of the people.
If that's true, why can't he reach to the person
with half the party sitting next to him?
For his own success, for his party's success
and America's success?

I need poker
help
Last Halloween, a reader asked if he could trade $99 in Full Tilt Poker
credits for
a year of Bartcop Radio. That deal would cost me a dollar, but I decided
to risk it.
So, for that $99 credit, I've played poker nightly at Full Tilt
for about six months.
I'm guessing that might be 300 hours of fun for $99.
That's 33 cents per hour of fun.
Thirty three cents an hour to play real poker with real
people? But after 6 months,
I'm out of funds and the whore GOP says poker is almost as bad as slow
dancing,
so they froze American banks from doing "the devil's work" - so I need
a favor.
If you're a Full Tilt player who's not bound by America's religiously-insane
"Footloose" handjob-extremism, contact me. I'd like to play more $1
tourneys.
