have to give credit to Bill Clinton, and they don't want to

They get worried that the voters might have
"buyer's remorse", so they'll leave the graph out of the election,

Showing up un announced isn't such a radical idea.
This reminded me that Hillary had done just this
when Bill was running for re election in Arkansas.
Apparently his opponent decided to pull a press
conference in the middle of the state capitol
and Hillary got wind of it and she was over there
like a shot.
I remember seeing this a year or two ago in a
documentary and everyone is listening to this guy
when suddenly out of nowhere comes Hillary to
challenge him and she totally took over while the guy
(McRae I think his name was) just stood there
completely dumbstruck!
It was a beautiful sight. (wistful sigh
over what coulda been....)

Greenspan: We can't afford McCain's tax cuts
Excerpt:
Alan Greenspan says the country can't afford
tax cuts of the magnitude proposed by Grandpa McCain
- at least not without a corresponding reduction
in government spending.
"Unless we cut spending, no," former Fedboy said
Friday when asked about McCain's proposed tax cuts.
"I'm not in favor of financing tax cuts with
borrowed money," Greenspan said. "I always have tied tax cuts to spending."
McCain has said that he would offset his proposed
cuts - including reducing the corporate tax rate
and eliminating the Alternative Minimum Tax that
has plagued middle-class families - by ending
congressional pork-barrel spending by democrats,
unnecessary government programs for blacks
and overhauling dismantling
entitlement programs such as Medicare and Social Security.
We should talk about "tax cuts" as "cuts in services," which is what they are.
If McCain talked about "cuts in services" it's possible some reporter,
perhaps a newbie who hasn't yet learned to kiss powerful ass, might
ask,
"Which services are you going to cut?"
