"Beltway insiders seem to believe that GOVERNING
is a zero sum, win-lose proposition. Most of us in the hinterlands just want the sober, honest truth about where
we are and what our leaders plan to help us survive. I find it ludicrous
that the pundocracy is already suggesting that
the Obama presidency is a failure because he didn't come into office, wave
his wand and cure all the problems that it took
Bush and the Republicans eight long years to construct."
-- WilyArmadilla, Link
Excerpt: If the Republicans are ever to emerge from the
long dark night they have created for themselves it will have to be without
pandering to the right wing nuts that comprise
Rush Limbaugh's radio audience. Didn't they learn anything in the last
election?
All of which is to say the GOP is blowing it
big time. They were handed a golden opportunity to redeem themselves with
the
election of Barack Obama -- a chance to line
up and in unison condemn the evil they put in power the previous eight
years.
The country had had a bellyful of George Bush,
Dick Cheney, and the rest of the messengers of darkness in Washington
who sold out the GOP in favor of huge deficits,
a doubling of the national debt, and a growing intrusion of the federal
government into people's private lives.
But instead of getting on board the change train
and recognizing the incredible amount of damage their people had done,
Republicans go blithely along as though nothing
has happened. They're busy obstructing Obama's programs and criticizing
the Democrats' spending plans that are aimed
at trying to bring the country out of Bush's horrible recession.
Excerpt: Right now, today, there was a story in the New
York Times that if you read it carefully mentioned something
known as the Joint Special Operations Command
-- JSOC it’s called. It is a special wing of our special operations
community that is set up independently. They
do not report to anybody, except in the Bush-Cheney days, they reported
directly to Cheney. They did not report to the
chairman of the joint chiefs of staff or to the Secretary of Defense.
They reported directly to the black hole that
is Dick Cheney.
"Congress has no oversight of it. It’s an executive
assassination ring essentially, and it’s been going on and on and on.
Just today in the Times there was a story that
its leaders, a three star admiral named (William H.) McRaven,
ordered a stop to it because there were so many
collateral deaths.
"Under Bush’s authority, they’ve been going into
countries and finding people and executing them and leaving.
That’s been going on, in the name of all of us.
This is new?
Since the idiot Democrats gave Bush The Patriot Act, it's been LEGAL
for them to kidnap, torture and murder
Hell, they can do that to American citiozens and they don't even have
to charge them with anything.
This is the power the weak-ass Democrats gave to unstable bastards who
were into torture and murder.
It's been going on for years.
If Seymour Hersh read bartcop.com he would've known
about a long time ago.
"Well, you can disagree with what Obama has
done, but cannot accuse him of his dragging his feet. His first 50 days have been marked
by action on nearly every issue under the sun. Of course, for his critics, that's precisely the
problem." -- Jake Tapper, always with the snide remarks
in his "news" Link

Subject: GOP wants Obama
to fail
It's interesting listening to Republicans openly
talking about wanting Obama to fail in the middle of a national crisis.
Odd, during the election the slogan was "Country
First" rather than the Republican Party first.
But that was their slogan during an election
and the election is over.
Excerpt: Levi's sister, Mercede is telling any media whore
outlet that life in Wasilla, Alaska is not pretty.
Bristol, 18, has virtually cut Levi out of the
life of their two-month-old son Tripp.
The worst part, Mercede continues, is that Sarah
supports Bristol's treatment of Levi, 19.
"I used to love Sarah," Mercede says sadly. "But
I've lost lots of respect for her."
They were never going to get married yet the whore media played that
up like Bush's "ranch."
The smart move now is for Spermboy to demand $5M to give up custody.
Palin can't run in 2012 if her daughter's fighting her baby daddy.
Sidebar: Isn't it odd about language?
If he had said, "Don't be fooled," that's
a warning from a concerned friend.
"Don't be a fool," says I need to pull
my fool head out of my ass.
Gingrich is capitalizing on what the democrats
are trying to do with Rush.
Gingrich is trying to make himself look moderate
and logical and be the acceptible alternative to Obama.
That's a smart move.
I knew eventually a Rethug would come to his
senses.
The dems are attempting Rovian tactics...
I think they're listing the facts, which is what
I've been asking them to do.
The GOP bows down to Holy Saint Rush the Blowhard
- why not point that out?
...but the GOP wrote the book and cannot be underestimated.
Democrats cannot pick sides.
I'm going to be on the anti-Pigboy side.
In reality, Gingrich is more dangerous than Rush
and needs to be put in his place just as much
as Rush.
Otto
"The only major difference that Rush and I
have is I think you have to want to help a president of
the United States. I'd like the country to succeed in the next three-and-a-half
years, not have the country fail."
-- Newt, slapping the Pigboy again, Link
Bart, you may not be as famous as Paris Hilton
(Yuk), but you have made a difference.
When most of us appear at the pearly gates, and
we are asked what we did to make
a difference in this world, we will have no recourse
but to hang our heads in shame.
You, my friend, can stand proudly and proclaim
that you produced "BARTCOP.COM"!
Any angel worth his salt will know you have done
your duty, and done it well!
Good on ya!

Excerpt: Rahm Emanuel and Robert Gibbs knew what they
were doing when they declared Piggy Pigboy head of the GOP.
They were putting Republithugs in a trap.
Repudiating Limbaugh would mean alienating millions of conservatives and
declaring Limbaugh's plainspoken racism - which
many of those politicians share - outside the lines of the national debate.
But neither could Republicans allow the insinuation
that they take orders from child-raping handjob who's high on drugs.
If voters got that impression, they would look
weak. Worse, the polls show more people dislike Limbaugh than like him.
The Republicans escaped this trap by saying that
the White House was talking about Limbaugh in order to avoid talking
about Obama's failure to fix Bush's Wal Street
crash. But now one bovine controversy has been replaced by another.
Instead of squabbling with Democrats about Captain
Methane, Republicans are arguing with each other.
The subject of the dispute: Does Limbaugh help
spread conservatism or turn Americans off from it?
I know - let's hold a national election and let the people decide.
Bart, if there was a 12-step program for Rush-a-holics,
the first step would be to admit you were a douche-bag,
followed closely by (2) admitting that you were
powerless to think like a non- douche-bag and required help.
I'm sure that among your many readers there has
to be a good handful who
would open their hearts and show those ditto-heads
how not to be douche-bags.
Charlie in Belchertown
Excerpt: With a debate raging over Piggy Pigboy Limbaugh
in the Republican Party, a new national survey shows that Limbaugh
weighs down heavily (get
it?) on an already weakened Republican
Party - putting Republican leaders and their party’s
conservative base voters out of sync with not
only Democrats and independents, but even the bloc of moderate Republicans.
On virtually every question the great majority
of the mainstream rejects Rush's ideas and vision of the Republican Party, which severely constrains Republican elected
leaders. It does not help that some of the key voters in the 2006 and 2008
elections,
like younger voters, are particularly uncomfortable
with Limbaugh’s politics. Conservative Republican voters, however, embrace
Limbaugh, giving him a very high favorability
rating; they say he shares their racism and urge Republican leaders to
defend him
when he says he hopes Obama fails.
Bart, we can all still hear Mike Malloy via the
web.
He has a link to an internet stream on the front
page of his site at www.mikemalloy.com The stream works great. Sometimes
you can even hear Kathy talking to Mike on the raw feed.
Yesterday, Kathy didn't know her mic was open
and let a (blue word)
out! Gotta love it.
- Scott in Sacramento
A couple of weeks ago, we found ourselves sitting in a muddy field at
night
near the Kansas/Oklahoma border and there was nothing to do but since
he was XM Radio,
we could hear Mike Malloy going after "those crooked sons of bitches."
Random Thought: If Mike is ONLY on XM-Sirius and the Internet - he can go crazy
with the language, right?
As is, Mike gets his point across fine, but just think if he didn't
have to hold back :)
Excerpt: The neoconservatives have demonstrated that their
power in Washington remains strong as they have succeeded
in keeping veteran diplomat Chas Freeman out
of a top intelligence job.
Freeman dropped out of the running for chairman
of the National Intelligence Council, which oversees preparation
of intelligence estimates about threats to the
United States, after an intense campaign spearheaded by neocons angered
over Freeman’s criticism of Israel’s treatment
of Palestinians.
In effect, the neocons showed that their influence
over the national news media, especially the Washington Post and the
Wall Street Journal, combined with solid Republican
support and some key Democratic backing, still lets them blackball
potential government appointees who favor a more
evenhanded approach toward the Middle East.
Why didn't Obama say, "I like the guy and he's
staying?" That's what Rethugs do.
After all, Bush the Lesser stacked his intel team with pardoned
thugs from his daddy's criminal gang.
But to answer the question - probably because he knows his fellow Dems
don't have his back.
Silver Lining Sidebar: If we're attacked, Obama could say, "We might've
detected that attack ahead of time but you partisan sons of bitches wouldn't
let me put the right man in the right place."
Bart, I think all these Rethuglican Governor's
who want to play Cafeteria with the Stimulus money, should lose the right
to get
any Stimulus money at all. Seriously.
The President said "this is what the money is for" and if they don't want
to use all the money
for what it is intended (for example, the South
Carolina Governor is objecting to accepting money to extend unemployment
benefits),
then they should lose all benefits. Send the
money back to Washington and let Mr. Obama decide how to divide it between
the
remaining 49 states. Time to take a tough shit
approach to these guys who don't want additional unemployment benefits
because
"that might hurt business".
Dee in NJ
What the Rethug governors want is a line-item veto, a power that Obama
doesn't even have.
So yeah, they use it for the intended purpose or they don't get any.
I'd hate to run for re-election after turning down federal stimulus
money.
Excerpt: To recap: Steele told Thomas that GOP congessional
leaders are like "mice" who are "scurrying" because they no longer
have access to "cheese" – read: any clue what
Steele is doing. Maybe more inflammatory, he told DePaulo that he thought
abortion was an "individual choice" and that
he opposed a constitutional amendment on gay marriage.
Michael Steele, we're gonna miss you when you're
gone.
And when he's gone the GOP will be the party that
couldn't stand to have a Black guy around for
a month.
Good point - if the religiously insane fight us on stem cells should they be allowed to use the cures that science finds?
Quotes
"Republican insiders tell Political Wire that
a no confidence vote on RNC Chairman Michael Steele is likely to be called after the NY-20 special election
on March 31 -- regardless of whether Republicans win the seat or not. Katon Dawson, who came in second in the January
RNC vote, is said to be quietly organizing a vote and is getting the support of several state party chairmen
who want to dump 'that crazy nigger.' "

Rush is stupid to seek the publicity.

he also used to be "Jeff Christie"... busted

I don't know.
I've been contacted a time or two by news outlets asking if I had any
details
or links or proof about his homosexual bust but that was long before
the Internets.
Maybe he got it buried when he started making four million dollars
a month.
Here's a picture of the vulgar Pigboy and one of his victims.
