"As soon as I sign this bill, it will be against
the law for insurance companies to drop your coverage when you get sick
or water it down when you need it most." -- Obama, explaining why they're
fighting him so hard, wehateclintons.com
Excerpt: The GOP nastiness of August reached from the
nation's town halls into the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday
as Obama tried to move his healthcare plan forward.
In an extraordinary breach of congressional decorum,
a racist Republican handjob shouted "You lie"
at Obama during his speech to Congress Wednesday.
Wilson tried to call Obama to apologize, but instead
talked to White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel.
Damn, I'd pay $20 to hear that phone call.
By that time, Wilson's House Web site had crashed
and he had taken a brutal beating on his Twitter page
for breaching protocol and good manners during
a presidential speech to a joint session of Congress.
"You lie!" Wilson shouted from his seat
on the Republican side of the chamber.
Republicans froze, with several looking in Wilson's
direction.
Excerpt: On his Twitter feed Tuesday, Rep. Joe Wilson
(R-Birther Handjob) wrote that at a parade he attended in NC,
“many people called out to oppose Obamacare
which I assured them would be relayed tomorrow to DC.”
Wilson did indeed bring the August town hall boorishness
to Washington when he shouted “you lie”
at America's Commander in Chief on live TV during
Wednesday night’s health care speech before Congress.
Within 15 minutes after Obama wrapped up his remarks,
Wilson’s website server had crashed
and his Wikipedia page had been locked on account
of “vandalism.”
John McCain called Wilson’s behavior “totally
disrespectful,” and joined a chorus of Democrats calling on Wilson
to apologize. Wilson’s office soon followed
with a statement expressing regret for the outburst.
“This evening I let my emotions get the best of
me when listening to the President’s remarks,” Wilson said.
“While I disagree with the President’s statement,
my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I'm a piece
of shit and now the whole world knows it and
I extend apologies to the President for this lack of civility.”
Bullshit - he is NOT sorry he did that.
In a sane world, Wilson and the GOP would be punished
for that outburst, but because of 30
years of spineless Democrats "lying there and taking
it." this behavior will probably be rewarded.
Sarah Palin proved you can be the stupidest person
in the state and still gain a big following
if you feed into the stupidity and racism of
the basest members of the GOP base.
Note: I tried to call this racist asshole's DC office (202)
225-2452 to give him a piece of my mind but all I got was a busy signal.
I'll keep trying - you should, too. If nothing else, let's force
him
to keep his phone off the hook the rest of the year.
If everybody's going to be insured,
don't we want illegal aliens insured, too?
Right now, I have to pay extra for "uninsured
motorists" insurance, but what if everybody's covered?
If an illegal family is in a car wreck, do we just let them die
in the street?
No, we're going to send them to a hospital - so why not let them
buy insurance?
Besides pure racism and a black heart, what's Joe Wilson's problem?
If we allow them to buy insurance, we're dealing with the problem.
What does racist Joe Wilson want to do - pretend the problem doesn't
exist?
"I was incredibly disappointed in the
tone of his speech. At times, I found his tone to be overly combative and believe
he behaved in a manner beneath the dignity of the office." -- Lindsay Graham (R-Gay)
Link
Really?
You heard the speech and saw Racist Joe Wilson acting like a
goon from hell
and you thought Obama had a bad tone?
Excerpt: A Texas school which refused to air Obama's live
classroom address is planning to bus students to see W. Bush
and his killer wife, Pickles. Bush is speaking
alongside several Dallas Cowboys players and some Texas millionaires.
"District officials said it's part of a Cowboys
Stadium field trip that the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee
invited 28 fifth-grade classes to attend several
months ago," a local NBC affiliate wrote Wednesday morning.
"The event launches the Super Bowl committee's
largest-ever youth education program. Students must have
their parents' permission to attend, school officials
said."
Which is all bullshit.
The fact that you scheduled a speech from a braindead Monkey doesn't
excuse your slur against our Black president.
Plus, you wouldn't allow those kids to watch Obama even with permission,
the way the story reads.
Admit it, "In Texas, we hate niggers."
Quotes
"I do not understand the duplicity in this
situation. I believe the students and the public deserve and need to have these differences
explained." -- Dwight McKissic Sr.,
the senior pastor of Arlington's Cornerstone Baptist Church,
concerned about the district's obviously outright-racist decision

"I will not waste time with those who have
made the calculation that it's better politics to kill this
plan than to improve it." -- Obama, after wasting
nine months on racists trying to kill his plan Link
The worst thing about a liar is not that you can
believe a word they say.
But they can not believe a word anyone else
says.
Racist Joe Wilson ( R dumb bell SC.) is a good
case in point.
What the hell is wrong with SC. that they would
put a guy like him in office?
Rasty
The Republicans have created this thing where they want to elect THE
most right-wing extremist possible.
That's how we end up with anti-science knuckledraggers like Coburn
and Inhofe.
Saint Reagan couldn't get elected today because next to today's
birther handjobs, he was a moderate.
"So, I am getting into spanking her. Yeah,
I like it. I like spanking her. She goes, 'I know you like spanking me.' I said,
'Yeah! Because you're such a bad girl!'" --
California Assem. Mike Duvall, R - Yorba Linda, was overheard bragging
about sex with a hooker for the
energy company Sempra into a hot microphone during an in-house broadcast
of a committee hearing. Link
No wonder they always vote for the energy companies.
They keep the Rethugs knee-deep in hookers.
"I am deeply saddened that my inappropriate
comments have become a major distraction. It would not be fair to my family,
my constituents or to my friends to remain in office. I have decided to
resign." --
Mike Duvall, (R-Spanking Fetish). Link
The shocking part is that this Rethug was
caught with a woman and not a young boy.
"The use of sexual favors is just one more
example of the tactics that energy companies and lobbyists have used to win
favorable laws from lawmakers," --
Kathy Feng, president of California Common Cause. Link
Yeah, we're all shocked that these oil bastards would use hookers
to bribe those old coots
who couldn't get an atractive young woman to look at them
without paying for it.
If we could get drugs the same price as Canada,
we could almost cut
the damn health care package in half with
one fell swipe of the pen.
James D
Good point.
Funny how they can make a profit selling a certain
pill in Canada for 20 cents
but they have to sell it for $10 here in the
United States to be able to make a profit.
...and if that extra profit is for research,
why isn't Canada paying their fare share of the
costs?
"Now that Obama has "caved in" on tort reform,
something that actually needs to be done, I'm hoping that the Republicans can
declare victory and get on board and get health care passed. I don't want to end up in front of
insurance company death panels." -- Marc
Perkel
Bart the IRC chat was great.
I really would love to drop you a dime or two
in the plate, but I got laid-off last week, sorry.
You should do this again though. Keep hammering
the hell out of 'em Bart!!
David P
We had a decent crowd for Obama's speech, about 40 people at one time.
Since the Rethugs have endlessly repeated their
"Bush kept us safe" mumbo - jumbo;
Today is Sept 11. Assuming we don't have another
terrorist attack before then,
we should scream "OBAMA KEPT
US SAFE LONGER THAN BUSH," over and over and over ad infinitum.
Unfortunately, we're talking about Democrats here,
so I suppose it would be
in "bad taste" for us to say such a thing (it's
only OK if THEY do it).
Steve
Democrats?
List the facts?
You ask too much.
But you're onto something else, too. By this time in the Bush admin,
his Enron buddies
killed some Japanese students while playing with a nuclear sub on Bush's
orders.
Shortly after than, the Chinese shot down a spy plane that Bush said
was in international waters
and what did Bush do?
First, he offered an apology, then he offered a second apology saying
"Pleeeeease, can we have our soldiers back?
We're sorry and you can keep the spy plane," and then the sick bastard's attention turned to whether the captives
had enough Bibles.
Five grams of todays good pot will get you and
five of your friends
baked for the best part of a week... unless
you are very heavy smokers...
so I'm told....
God bless good genetics....

Subject: five grams of pot
Should get you high all week. I don’t know what
sort of weed you’re smoking across the big pond,
but here you generally buy it by the gram, which,
depending on the brand, is 6,50 to 12.50 euros
– and that little baggy makes several nice joints
(rolled on tobacco here, or you can use the atomizer
at the shop) and each joint gets you high for
four hours.
Apparently in OK and where your correspondent
live, they’re still stuck in the stemmy seedy seventies,
where you needed to roll a pure joint a finger
thick in order to notice anything.

What kind of crappy bushweed are you smoking?

I don't claim to be an expert - but are you guys
sure?
I've been told Humboltd California grows some
of the best there is
and it's nowhere near as strong as what you're
talking about.
Excerpt: The ACLU wants Richard Hatch freed from a jail
where he has been held on charges of giving unauthorized interviews.
That sentence is funny - if you're not the guy
getting screwed by your government.
Hatch was taken into custody Aug. 18 after giving
TV interviews that the federal Bureau of Prisons said it had not approved.
He was serving home confinement for failing to
pay income taxes. During the interviews, Hatch said the trial judge
discriminated against him because he was gay.
The ACLU says Hatch has a right to criticize the government.
I agree, and there's every chance Hatch is right.
If he said, "I
was discriminated against because he was Black,"
would that be illegal, too?
And the idea that he doesn't deserve justice because YOU don't watch
Survivor
is too stupid to address.
Racist, birther handjobs think that way - we're better than that.
Excerpt: Dollhouse - Sci-Fi with a hottie star.
I want to like it, but they need to hire some writers.
Gossip Girl - Saw one or two shows, then
quit. Great-looking cast but horrible writing.
It's the most talked about show that nobody
is watching.
Veronica Mars was a great show
that nobody watched - there's a difference.
Melrose Place - Tried to watch the Pilot,
but didn't have enough DVRs. Probably needs writers.
Glee - Watched the first 5 minutes of
the pilot (because every TV reviewer is gay and they love
it!).
After I threw up, I changed the channel to f-ing
wrestling or something. If you love singin' & dancin' this is
for you.
Vampire Diaries - Haven't seen it, and
I'm not sure we need wall-to-wall vampire shows, but
Nina
Dobrev surely is going to be this TV season's
breakout star. I'd feed from her any day.

"I sat there tonight wondering what the purpose
of this evening was. I was hoping to hear the president flesh out a middle ground,
but instead we heard platitudes and campaign rhetoric." -- Sen. Bob Corker (R-Call
Me, Harold) one of the most racist sons of bitches in Washington:

Excerpt: Will this do? For the past month, Democrats have
been wringing their hands over Obama's lackluster performance,
while Republicans have become increasingly cocky
about derailing his presidency. But Obama's speech Wednesday
should put to rest any illusions that he or his
presidency are on the ropes.
Oh, really?
It would be great if that was true - but is there
any evidence besides wishful thinking?
Obama didn't simply come out swinging. He also
made the single most persuasive case for government intervention
in decades in the final section of his speech.
He put an end to the Reagan era dogma that America's biggest foe is
government itself. With this speech, Obama has
begun to fulfill the promise of his presidency. Obama, you could say,
found his sea legs. He's ushering in a fundamental
philosophical shift that could set the stage for several decades of a
revived and modern liberal movement, while the
right spins off into noisy irrelevance.
You might be right, but I'm not seeong it that way.
The racist sons of bitches who hate him on sight still hate
him and they'll continue to spew that hate
and the whore networks will continue to broadcast that hate-spewing
and that allows the lying GOP to say,
"America is saying no to this president and
the evidence is all over the airwaves."
If the Blue Dog bastards come home and we get a great health care bill
passed, then I
will raise a shot of Chinaco
to Obama's great skills, but if September and October look like August,
what did that last speech accomplish?
If I agree that Obama made a great comeback, I'm no more honest than
those whore announcers
who say "The Dallas Cowboys are the greatest"
when they're behind by 30 points.

Excerpt: I found Obama's speech tonight a big O-bummer.
Really, other than his very important reminder that "we're all in this
together,"
it was disappointing (although that's probably
not the right word, because it implies I expected something more). And
remember,
while I have at times been critical of Obama,
I've been very supportive of him on health care...up until tonight....
In sum, when you couple this with the speech's
fawning praise for lunatics like John McCain and Chuck Grassley and add
to it
the news that the White House is holding closed-door
compromise meetings with corporate Democrats tomorrow, I felt like I was
listening to a parsed screed by President Rahm
Emanuel, not a call to arms from the Barack Obama who actually ran for
president.
There was lots of passionate talk about the problem,
and little courage to demand a serious solution.
I guess it's just too bad that President Emanuel
now rules America.
