The GOP nastiness of August reached from the
nation's town halls into the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday
as Obama tried to move his healthcare plan forward.
In an extraordinary breach of congressional decorum,
a racist Republican handjob shouted "You lie"
at Obama during his speech to Congress Wednesday.
Wilson tried to call Obama to apologize, but instead talked to White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel.
Damn, I'd pay $20 to hear that phone call.
By that time, Wilson's House Web site had crashed
and he had taken a brutal beating on his Twitter page
for breaching protocol and good manners during
a presidential speech to a joint session of Congress.
"You lie!" Wilson shouted from his seat
on the Republican side of the chamber.
Republicans froze, with several looking in Wilson's
direction.
Wilson promised he'd be a dick and he kept his word

(R-Birther Handjob) wrote that at a parade he attended in NC,
“many people called out to oppose Obamacare
which I assured them would be relayed tomorrow to DC.”
Wilson did indeed bring the August town hall boorishness
to Washington when he shouted “you lie”
at America's Commander in Chief on live TV during
Wednesday night’s health care speech before Congress.
Within 15 minutes after Obama wrapped up his remarks,
Wilson’s website server had crashed
and his Wikipedia page had been locked on account
of “vandalism.”
John McCain called Wilson’s behavior “totally
disrespectful,” and joined a chorus of Democrats calling on Wilson
to apologize. Wilson’s office soon followed
with a statement expressing regret for the outburst.
“This evening I let my emotions get the best of
me when listening to the President’s remarks,” Wilson said.
“While I disagree with the President’s statement,
my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I'm a piece
of shit and now the whole world knows it and
I extend apologies to the President for this lack of civility.”
Bullshit - he is NOT sorry he did that.
In a sane world, Wilson and the GOP would be punished
for that outburst, but because of 30
years
of spineless Democrats "lying there and taking
it." this behavior will probably be rewarded.
Sarah Palin proved you can be the stupidest person
in the state and still gain a big following
if you feed into the stupidity and racism of
the basest members of the GOP base.

FIVE hot new TV shows

listening to a parsed screed by President Rahm
Emanuel, not a call to arms from the Barack Obama who actually ran for
president.
There was lots of passionate talk about the problem,
and little courage to demand a serious solution.
I guess it's just too bad that President Emanuel
now rules America.
