Obama said on May 27 that BIG OIL and the
GOP rigged the system to get around
the environmental-impact statements and
look what your friends have done to the Gulf.
According to Obama, the GOP-written law
says the environmental-impact statements must be
completed within 30 days - which is impossible
- so ALL applications were immediately approved.
Now the Gulf is toxic and you're mocking the environmental-impact statements?

while Maine was admitted as a free state.
It was the Missouri Compromise. It kept
the Senate in balance between slave and free states.

as a slave or free state.
