Do you remember that weird, weird story from 2008 about Palin's inability to say Biden's name correctly?
She kept calling him "O'Biden," and she was unable to pronounce his name.
During debate prep, she kept saying "O'Biden" again and again so they kept working with her.
Eventually they settled on the strategery of her asking him up-front, "Can I call you Joe?"
but even then, she managed to get in one "O'Biden" in the debate.
What's with the GOP always turning to brain dead candidates?

Bart --
The current problem with Democratic Underground is an ongoing tension
between ideological liberal Democrats and Party Democrats.
The liberals and progressives who are being banned from DU are those who dare to
vigorously call out President Obama when he does wrong. They hold the same values
and ideals as they did while Bush was President, and feel that all Presidents should be
held to the same standard regardless of the Party affiliation after the name.
The Party Democrats are more interested in maintaining Party cohesion, message control,
and electoral wins, even if it means jettisoning traditional Democratic Party ideals and
supporting a Democratic President at any cost.
I have witnessed liberal after liberal be banned or flee DU because they could not remain
silent about President Obama's continued civil rights violation, deals with the pharmaceutical
and health insurance industries, mass expansion of the "war on terror," hints about "fixing"
Social Security, and other wrongs that any self--respecting Democrat should be appalled by.
So, no, DU is not becoming anti-Obama, it is becoming instead an official Party organ.
