First thing I thought of was: if Israel wanted to "de-consecrate" the Holy Sand,
the way the Catholic Church will de-consecrate a church that's no longer being used,
then announced it wanted New Israel to be located in the U.S., then EVERY DAMN
STATE IN THE UNION (maybe even Arizona!) would come to them hat in hand
to beg the Jewish people to relocate to THEIR state.
And the Jews and Arabs would get to watch their children grow up.

Bart, I just read the piece on Robert
Plant in the latest 'issue' and was struck by the comment
about The Pretenders. I remember seeing them as what I
termed "The Pretend-ing-ers" back
in '87, after Chrissie Hynde fired the original drummer, after the
other half of the band died.
I was only at the show because Iggy Pop
was opening, and felt (and still do) that the billing
should have been the other way round.
I still haven't forgiven Chrissie for allowing the Fat Pigboy to use
Ohio for his theme song.

Subject: Ripping off cartoonist
For someone who copyrights their own website, makes money off the work of others,
and goes to such great lengths pointing up the hypocracy of others, you don't seem to
give much of a shit about respecting artists.
Specifically, issue #2634 reposts the work of Alaskan cartoonist Peter Dunlop-Shohl,
with both the caption and the creator's name removed. Maybe you aren't the one directly
responsible, but this is the second time his unattributed cartoons have been posted on Bartcop.

Do you think I was trying to claim Peter's art as my own?
Do you think I have time to go thru the toons and remove an artist's name?

Since the answer is NO, why would I go after Peter?
Many artists shoose to NOT sign their work. (That's a mistake)
When I get a cartoon, should I hire f-ing detectives to locate and identify the artist?
