Americans are facing some serious challenges. Our national debt is $14 trillion.
Unemployment is at 9.6 percent. Almsot 3 million Americans have lost their homes
and things are expected to get worse before they get better.
And what is Obama concentrating on?
Raiding pot stores and indicting poker players. (Obviously written before Osama's double tap)
How can poker help?
Poker
is a multi-billion dollar industry whose profits are not taxed in
America. Poker has the potential, and the
desire, to support philanthropic programs. The knowledge needed to play poker
could substantially help fill the black hole in our children's math education.
Legalizing and taxing pot and poker could save America,
but we're too worried that the Invisible Cloud being will get angry.
Bottom line: We don't want to solve our problems.

On Friday, the unemployment rate dropped to 8.8 percent.
On Wednesday, Fox News announced that it was ending Glenn Beck’s show.
These are not unrelated events.
When Beck’s show made its debut on Fox News Channel in January 2009, the nation was
in the throes of an economic collapse the likes of which had not been seen since the 1930s.
Beck’s angry broadcasts about the nation’s imminent doom perfectly rode the wave of fear
that had washed across the nation, and the relatively unknown entertainer suddenly had 3 million
viewers a night — and tens of thousands answering his call to rally at the Lincoln Memorial.
But as the recession began to ease, Beck’s apocalyptic forecasts and ominous conspiracies
became less persuasive, and his audience began to drift away. Beck responded with a
doubling-down that ultimately brought about his demise on Fox.
So why isn't FOX punished for throwing gas on the bonfire of fear?
They made millions by scaring stupid people - they need to be punished for that.
The Democrats won't do it - they're wetting themselves in fear every day.
Our whore media won't do it - unless there's money in it.
And why don't the Republicans have the brains to be upset with FOX and Beck for lying to them?
...I guess I answered my own question - it's because they're Republicans.

ok, perhaps I am just a skeptic at heart but why the hell did they “bury bin Laden’s body at sea”?
Isn’t the area where they say they killed him pretty much land-locked?
Why didn’t they want to show the body?
What do we care what the Muslim rules are for how long to wait to bury someone?
His body should have been displayed and left for the carrion crows to eat what is left.

(I’m on the left coast so it wasn’t that late here).
The whole deal last night was just plain weird. It was interesting to see every
tv station (network and cable) at a loss for words because they didn’t have
much information beyond “bin Laden is dead”.

I have a suggestion: Don't screw this up.
We watched Doll House because she was in it, but Joss Whedon
handled that as poorly as I've ever seen a show handled.
One episode, Eliza didn't show up until 18 minutes into the show.
PUT THE STAR ON THE SCREEN!
You'd think Joss Whedon would know to do that.
Plus, Amy Acker, a very pretty co-star had her face cut up with a razor.
Why did Jodd Whedon think we'd want to see that?
