government-backed loan programs for excesses that helped create the financial meltdown in 2008.
And like millions of other home purchasers, Bachmann took out a home loan in 2008 that offered
lower costs to the borrower through one of the federally subsidized programs. Just a few weeks
before Bachmann called for dismantling the programs during a House Financial Services Committee
hearing, she and her husband signed for a $417,000 home loan to help finance their move to a
5,200-square-foot golf-course home. Experts say the loan was backed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.
I see three problems with a story like this:
Teabaggers
don't care. Bachmann could claim Havana was the true capital of the US
and her fans would love her even more. She could get caught strangling puppies on the
White House lawn and her contributors would send even more money.
America's whore press won't write
about GOP abuses or their crimes.
Bush & Cheney lied 5,000 soldiers into their grves, but who cares?
Did you see those Anthony Weiner photos?
The Democrats refuse to list the facts so the voters remain
ignorant.

A Tea Party (or Tea P-Arrrrrr!-ty) leader in South Carolina was arrested Tuesday for selling
pirated Microsoft software, Photoshop, and the Rosetta Stone language programs.
Anthony and Michael Trinca, were arrested after a witness claimed that in May he purchased
six copies of Rosetta Stone from Anthony Trinca for $125 each, but then discovered they were
fake when tried to resell two of them. After refunding his own customers, the victim said he
tried to get his money back from Trinca, who refused.
The victim picked up four of the six copies of the software from Trinca's home, where he
noticed copies of other kinds of software as well that appeared to be heavily underpriced.
Anthony Trinca is president of the Grand Strand Tea Party. The Trincas face charges of
"trafficking in counterfeit trademarks." They were each released on a $5,000 bond.
I think $5,000 bond is pretty damn cheap.
Had they illegally downloaded music, they'd be on the hook for $100,000 per song.
I guess Hollywood has better lobbyists than Microsoft?

There is only one person who could primary Obama and, I'm guessing, she has no desire
to once again be called "that fucking whore" and "you racist pig" by her close friends of 40 years.
For the rest of my life, I hope I never see anything as ugly as the Democratic behavior
we saw in the summer of 2008.
I doubt Hillary wants to relive that, either.

Boehner, GOP in Civil War

Da Boner's efforts to avert a debt ceiling crisis with a two-tiered set of cuts is turning into the most
divisive wedge issue the party has confronted since President Obama took over in 2009.
Boehner may have thought his face-saving plan, which he hoped to bring to the floor Wednesday,
offered a path to victory. However, since treading upon it he's been beset from all sides. It's not just that
Obama is threatening to veto the bill, should it ever make it past the Senate; it's that Boehner's fellow
conservatives are sniping at him with (not so) friendly fire. Now the vote he'd hoped to bring triumphantly
to the floor Wednesday looks delayed until at least Thursday, and even then the outcome is uncertain.
That's because the GOP is teetering on the brink of a debt-based civil war. More traditional Republicans
and big business types are desperate to avoid a recovery-crushing default. But their Tea Party hellions
are leading a rebellion of epic - perhaps even galactic - proportions.
Seriously - let's split America in two.
We'll take the Blue States - both coasts - and let them have redneck, flyover country.
Then, in two years, when they beg us to take their broke-ass country in,
we can issue our list of demands to aloow them, back in.
...but Obama can have NO PART in this.
He'll just give everything away before they ask.

Obama's Base Crumbles

Obama's liberal base is starting to crumble. Among the nuggets:
Despite those hundreds of billions of blown stimulus dollars and almost as many upturn promises
from Joe Biden, 82% of Americans still say their job market is struggling. Ninety percent rate the
economy negatively, including half who give it the worst rating of "poor."
30 months after he returned home, George W. Bush still gets majority blame for the economy.
But Bush isn't running for anything but exercise.
"More than a third of Americans now believe that Obama’s policies are hurting the economy,
and confidence in his ability to create jobs is sharply eroding among his base," the Post reports.
Strong support among liberal Democrats for Obama's jobs record has plummeted 22 points from
53% down below a third. African American support has plunged from 77% to barely half.
Obama's overall job approval on the economy has slid below 40% for the first time, with
57% disapproving. And strong disapprovers outnumber approvers by better than two-to-one.
The best thing Obama has going for him is the insane handjobs in the GOP presidential field,
but if jobs don't pick up drastically in the next year, "Anybody but Obama" will win 2012.

A lot of people were alarmed to learn that Republicans were relying on the vulgar Pigboy and
vile blogger Erick Erickson to tell them what to do about the debt ceiling. As everyone in Washington
went into separate rooms to write their own horrible debt ceiling plans, Erickson reported that he's
been taking "call after call" from "members of Congress," all of whom were seeking his approval,
because this dumb, disingenuous hack is who the Republican Party is actually accountable to.
Meanwhile, John Boehner gave his plan to Rush Limbaugh, before he showed it to his own conference.
(Of course, his conference is full of morons and extremists, many of whom wouldn't have known
what to think about Boehner's plan until Uncle Rush explained it.)
This is bad for America. Erick Erickson and Rush Limbaugh are entertainers -- they're extreme
demagogues, stirring up shit for fun and attention.
Think how different America could be if Democrats bothered to educate the voters.
They could explain that if we shrink the pie, we'll have fewer cops and firefighters.
We'll have fewer ambulances, fewer meat inspectors, fewer air traffic controllers.
Old paint on our highways means more accidents in the dark and in the rain.
And why are we moving backwards, to a less-safe America?
So the super-rich can afford to buy that fourth Rolls Royce.
So the super-rich can afford to buy that eleventh luxury home.
They keep saying we can't ask the rich to help because they're too busy creating job.
What jobs?
The super-rich figured out they could make more money in a recession - so here we are.
The super-rich made billions under Clinton - but the greedy fuckers want more.
If only the Democrats wanted to win bad enough to fight for it.
Or even explain it.
As Obama explained in 2008, "The fish rots from the head down."
The Democratic party has been rotting for 12 years.
Gore, Kerry, Obama - not a fighter in the lot.
If only we had a leader.
Instead, we have Obama, who's all too willing to sacrifice Social Security and
Medicare in an effort to get the barking dog Republicans to like him.
Why can't Obama learn?

Tacoma’s push to shut down more than 30 medical-marijuana sellers inched forward Monday,
as outlets in Pierce County received letters from the Sheriff’s Department putting them on notice.
Sheriff Paul Pastor said his office sent letters to about 15 dispensaries late last week to notify them
about the county’s interpretation of a state law that took effect Friday. Businesses say the law gives
them a way to keep operating, but Pastor said it puts limits on any seller wanting an “atmosphere of
lots of clients and easy access.”
How dare a legal American business seek "lots of clients."
Why, that's anti-American - trying to make a living.
