In an op-ed article in the New York Times, Robert D. Putnam, a professor of
public policy at Harvard, and David E. Campbell, a political scientist at Notre Dame,
say they have collected data indicating that the tea party is "less popular than much
maligned groups like 'atheists' and 'Muslims.'"
One of their findings is that the tea party drew a lower approval rating than Muslims
and atheists. That put the tea party below 23 other entries--including Obama,
Palin, Republicans and Democrats.
Doesn't this make Obama look weaker?
When 72 percent of the country wanted the super-rich to pay more taxes,
Obama was taking orders from the GOP who were taking orders from Teabaggers.
Mr, President, why are you letting the very unpopular Teabaggers call the tune
when the 72 percent were counting on you to lead?

Pigboy, Hannity are big, fat liars

Even with the economy obviously struggling, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity still feel the need
to shamelessly mislead their listeners into thinking that President Obama's stewardship of the economy
has been even worse than they realized. Last week, Pigboy claimed Obama "inherited" an unemployment
rate of 5.7 percent. Last night, Sean Hannity echoed Limbaugh, except that Hannity's figures say that
Obama inherited a slightly better 5.6 percent unemployment rate.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate in January of 2009 was 7.8 percent.
So what exactly is going on here? Did Limbaugh and Hannity really just make up a number out of whole cloth?
Of course not — they merely found a completely irrelevant number and used that.
It's hardly news that these frauds are bald-faced liars.

Bulletin for those of you who get your information only from the New York Times,
the Washington Post and other outlets of the Fawning Corporate Media (FCM):
Former White House counterterrorism czar Richard Clarke has accused ex-CIA Director
George Tenet of denying him and others access to intelligence that could have thwarted
the attack on the Pentagon on 9/11.
Deliberately withholding critical intelligence from those who need it, and can act on it,
is — at the least — gross dereliction of duty.
The more so if keeping the White House promptly and fully informed is at the top of
your job jar, as it was for Director of Central Intelligence Tenet. And yet that is precisely
the charge Clarke has leveled at the former DCI.
In an interview aired on Aug. 11 on a local PBS affiliate in Colorado, Clarke charges
that Tenet and two other senior CIA officials, Cofer Black and Richard Blee, deliberately
withheld information about two of the hijackers of American Airlines Flight 77 — al-Hazmi
and al-Mihdhar. The two had entered the United States more than a year before the 9/11 attacks.
Clarke adds that the CIA then covered it all up by keeping relevant information away
from Congress and the 9/11 Commission.
Why would they bother to withhold it? Democrats have been sacless since 2001.
And that bought-and-paid-for dog-and-pony Commission was as useless as tits on a boar hog
Bush & Cheney fought against the creation of the commitee, then they stacked
the deck with mice and traitors and then they outright lied to the commission...
...but not under oath.
When 3,000 people are murdered, no need to get to the truth.
When the president gets a blowjob, THEN it's time to put everyone
under oath so we can get to the goddamn truth.

What, if anything, is the matter with Obama? This is a question that sharply divides
progressives today, the central front on what has become known as the “Obama Wars.”
The Obama Wars can be vicious – they're often reminiscent of the 2008 primary fights.
In online communities, the conflict pits “Obamabots,” whose mindless fealty to Our Dear Leader
renders them incapable of independent thought, and “emo-progs,” members of the “professional left”
whose lust for attacking the administration and refusal to give it credit for its accomplishments will
only discourage Democratic voters and ultimately usher in a Bachmann presidency and a Supreme
Court packed with far-right activist judges.
Such is the reality when, two years after a campaign promising hope and change, our political
system is still completely screwed up and the country remains mired in a long depression.
Don't you think 90% of Democrats are neither Obamabots or emo-progs? (stupid-ass name.)
Besides, Obama's record speaks for itself.
His approval rating is around 40 percent, we're still stuck in two wars and the market is crashing,
largely because America needs a president right now and we have The Surrenderer, instead.
America sees him taking orders from the Teabaggers and nobody wants that.
Stand up, Barack, and act like a man.
Tell the Teabaggers:
"I won the election - we're doing things MY way

You’re looking for a reason to hate when the link you provided doesn’t back you up.
All the article says is that the group was holding a prayer circle and, as they broke up
and started to take the stage, their manager told them to wait.
In the article you linked, can you please point out where the band has, “chosen to credit”
God, prayer, or anything else? Unless I completely missed something, the article TOTALLY
credits the tour manager, as you suggested the band should.
I’m with you on most of your beliefs, except where they come to God, so please try not
to be offended that I pointed out your inaccuracy, or oversight. I am a former news reporter,
and un-supported opinion drives me up a wall. You can hate the band, and you can vent
about it, but make sure you’ve got the right documentation.
