Spending $1 Billion against Obama

White power Republican outside groups looking to influence elections across the country
are on track to spend a record-breaking $1 billion this year, Politico reports.

Those behind most of the spending include the super PAC American Crossroads, Karl Rove's
front group that has links to Charles and David Koch and the Chamber of Commerce.

That total includes previously undisclosed plans for newly aggressive spending by the Kochs,
who are steering funding to build sophisticated, county-by-county operations in key states.
POLITICO has learned that Koch-related organizations plan to spend about $400 million
ahead of the 2012 elections - twice what they had been expected to commit.

The Koch spending is more than the $370 million that McCain raised in 2008.

So how many lies can you get for a billion dollars?
I say this has "backfire" written all over it.

I predict the non-stop, wall-to-wall, racist name-calling by the Confederates
will actually push more people into the arms of the Union president, Obama.

BTW, if the Democrats had any brains or will to win (should I bother to finish the thought?)
why wouldn't they half-jokingly frame the debate that way - the Union against the Confederacy?

Each time the GOP gets caught throwing qualified Blacks off the voter rolls, we could say,
'What else would you expect from these Dixie flag worshippers?"

But, of course, it wouldn't be fair to saddle the bastards with a semi-unfair nickname.

Rethug sticks taxpayers with $121M bill

Former pitcher Curt Schilling will be enshrined in the memories of Red Sox fans, but Rhode Island
residents will remember the vocal Republican for costing the state $112.6 million in moral obligation
bond payments in the wake of his collapsed video game company.

Soon after the Red Sox won the 2004 World Series, Schilling stumped for Der Monkey Fuhrer.
He also campaigned for John McCain in 2008, according to the Valley Advocate, that dubbed
Schilling a “bloody hypocrite.”

In 2010, Rhode Island sold $75 million worth of moral obligation bonds that would put the state
on the hook for a total of $121.6 million, according to WPRI.com.

Republicans just don't know how to handle money.
Since most of them were born rich, they've never had to make sound financial decisions.

They just spend and spend and when the money runs out, they charge the taxpayers.

Subject: Philly Pedo Priests

Back in the late 60's, I went to Camp Neuman, outside of Jamison PA., for 4 seasons in a row.

It was a summer camp run by Father Dunne, a rugged, Spencer Tracy-like Catholic Priest, he looked like
the priest in the "exorcist", and exuded a self-confident, worldly, grounded wisdom & love of children.

My mother, who passed away 4 yrs ago, adored him, and on the few occasions that I met him,
I was impressed with his understanding and empathetic personality. He was part of my fond memories
of those years, when I learned to excel at various activities and socialize with other boys.

2 yrs ago, on a whim, I called the camp to see if he was still there,
I figured he might be dead by now, since he looked to be in his 30's then.

The camp staff reacted strangely, wanting to know who I was and why I wanted to know about him...all cagey
and oddly amused. They said he was no longer there, hadn't been for decades, and would provide no further info.

Then last week I heard this priest pedo story on the radio and heard the name Dunne associated with it.
Then they said it was in Pennsylvania. "No way" I thought. Can't be father Dunne.
So I checked further.

The Priest involved, Father Peter Dunne, ran camp Neuman from '66 to '72.

So he not only stole kids' innocence and opportunity to grow up well-adjusted, he stole the memories
of everyone who knew him growing up..memories of a figure that left a positive impression not just
of the church.. but of human nature.

It just leaves me sad.

Or so said Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's spokesman, on the question of Trump's birther delusions.

Cohen, in a phone interview, called the renewed controversy over Trump's birther delusion "a distraction,"
and blamed it on "the liberal media." But five minutes later, Trump openly disagreed with his spokesman.

"I don't imagine this is distraction at all," Trump said. "In fact, we have a fundraiser that's going to take place
in a couple of hours, and I'm just walking through the lobby of Trump international and this place is packed."

And that, in a nutshell, is the problem for Mitt Romney.

Romney has more problems than Jay-Z.

They keep telling us how close this is - really?
A majority is going to vote to give the super-rich BIGGER tax breaks in November?

That could only happen if Obama refuses to list the facts.

Or Google the city where your favorite actor or athlete was born.
If it's in America, Catholics are raping kids in that city.

Meanwhile, the FBI, Attorneys General and city and state prosecutors are
"Looking into the matter," which means your grandchildren will be raped, too.

I was not attacked by any church person (or anybody) and I don't know anyone
who was raped, but the headlines are there every day and it just goes on and on.

Poker playing?
We're all over that - Obama ordered the banksters to CRACK DOWN right away.

Pot smokers?
Their legal providers must be raided, jailed, tried and sentenced,
but those child rapes continue, every day, day after day.

I get it - it's just child rape.

the Vatican over the worst crisis in his papacy. In unusually blunt remarks at the end of a general audience
in St Peter's Square where he repeatedly referred to personal suffering, the 85-year-old rape ringleader said
recent events had caused sadness in his heart.

"Suggestions have multiplied, amplified by some media which are totally gratuitous and which have gone
well beyond the facts, offering an image of the Holy See which does not correspond to reality," Benny said
