The Obama campaign is going retro, circa 2004. Back then, Bush supporters attacked John Kerry
on what was supposed to be Kerry's greatest strength -- his military service. But the Swift Boat bastards
undermined that strength, calling into question Kerry's credentials and military awards. And thus was born
"swiftboating" -- a term used to describe unfair or untrue political attacks.
The latest wave of Obama attacks is like Bain boating. The president's re-election campaign is armed with
surrogates tasked with specific duties, making the case that voters should be questioning Mitt Romney's taxes,
off-shore accounts, and his record at Bain Capital. They are probing for different weaknesses, and aggressively
attacking Romney at a time when voters should be talking about negative job numbers.
And they've succeeded.
Romney has been unable to effectively respond to the attacks.
I can't believe it took four morons to write this piece of shit.
They explain that "swiftboating" means "to attack someone falesely" then they say Obama
is guilty of "swiftboating" because he questions what Romney is hiding when he can't say
where he worked from 1999-2002 or release his tax returns.
Swift-boating is lying.
Swift-boat is saying "Kerry is a coward who never served it battle."
Meanwhile, Kerry didn't have the brains to say, "So how'd I get Charlie shrapnel in my ass?
It's still in there, mother-effer - want to see my goddamn x-rays?
But no, Kerry couldn't figure that out.
Let's hope this current Massechusetts liberal is just as ineffective as Kerry was.

So, anyway, this evil villain in the new Batman movie is named Bane. And there's now a
discussion out there as to whether or not this is purposeful and whether or not it will influence voters.
It's gonna have a lot of people. This movie, the audience is gonna be huge. A lot of people are gonna
see the movie, and it's a lot of brain-dead people, entertainment, the pop culture crowd, and they're
gonna hear Bane in the movie and they're gonna associate Bain. The thought is that when they start
paying attention to the campaign later in the year, and Obama and the Democrats keep talking about Bain,
Romney and Bain, that these people will think back to the Batman movie, "Oh, yeah, I know who that is."
(laughing) There are some people who think it'll work.
Others think you're really underestimating the American people to think that will work.
I agree, Rush.
Warner Brothers has - wild guess - $200,000,000 tied up in this Batman movie,
and instead of concentrating on the best ways to get their borrowed money back,
they're probably working on ways to help Obama.

Investigators for Arizona's Pink Panty Sheriff say Obama's birth certificate is definitely fraudulent.
Arizona's Pink Panty Sheriff's posse said in March that there was probable cause that Obama's
long-form birth certificate released in April 2011 was a computer-generated forgery.
Arpaio's investigation is intended to draw attention away from problems within his own agency,
such as hundreds of sex-crime cases that the sheriff's office failed to adequately investigate.

I think the Penn State teams need a time out - maybe a year or two.
The first thing that has to happen is anyone who was within a whiff of this has to resign - at least.
Those that helped cover-up probably need to do some jail time as a warning to others covering up.

We need to talk sports death penalty. Years ago, SMU got a death penalty (a year or two)

Toronto Shooting: 2 Dead
They live in a different world...

An "unprecedented" shooting at a large outdoor party in Toronto, Canada, left two people dead
and at least 19 others injured, including an infant, officials said.
The two killed Monday in the gunfire were a teenage girl and a man in his 20s, police said.
"It is the most serious crime of its kind that has ever taken place in the city of Toronto," he said.
Wow!
Toronto is over 200 years old, and this was their worst crime ever?
Even with hyperbole, let's say it's just the worst crime of this cop's career.
Chicago has 10 homicides per week.

John, my guess is that Romney is innocent of felony tax fraud - probably.
More likely is that he paid around 10 percent in taxes, which is far less than a teacher pays,
or a fireman pays, or a cop or someone who actually contributes to society.
Why should this vulture capitalist pay less taxes than someone who works for a living?
John, you're boy is hiding something and when finally it comes out, and it will
it'll be a whole lot worse than it would've been if he released his taxes a year ago.

Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant was arrested on charges of misdemeanor domestic violence.
Rebecca Lopez of WFAA-TV says the underlying reasons for Bryant's arrest should give serious pause.
"Desoto police say Dez Bryant assaulted his mother," Lopez wrote. "Slapped her across the face
and pulled her hair. Dez Bryant's mother says she had pain and swelling as a result of injuries.
I hope the police don't arrest Jerry Jones on RICO charges because it seems
for the longest time, he's been running an ongoing crime organization.

Last Issue's Mystery City?
Bart, that is the City of Johnstown in western Pennsylvania.
It is most famous for being destroyed by a horrible flood in 1889.
In what should be a lesson to Americans of today, that flood was a direct result
of the negligence of the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club which was a
summer club for the Robber Barons of the 19th century (Carnegie, Mellon, etc.).
They bought the area around Lake Conemaugh and did a poor job of repairing an
aging dam that created the lake to make it bigger and deeper than the original dam
was designed for. Compounding issues, they put fish screens on the spillway to
keep the prized bass that they had imported in the lake. These screens captured
debris when the water was high and would block the spillway, rendering it useless.
On May 31, 1889 after a night of heavy rains, Lake Conemaugh topped the dam
and in 40 minutes nearly 20 million tons of water emptied from the lake into the
narrow Conemaugh River valley. The water reached heights of 70 feet before
crashing into the town of Johnstown and killing 2200 people (of course this was not
before picking up tons of trees, oil, coal and barbed wire....no, I'm not kidding....
all of which eventually got caught up against the Old Stone Bridge in Johnstown
along with some 80 people.
This all caught fire and burned for three days killing 80 people).
It all sounded like a Monty Python skit (it caught fire, fell over and sank
into the swamp) and would be funny if it weren't so horrible.
My family is from this area and I was just there this past weekend.
