SC (Sexual Content) and OS (Outright Stupidity) Now available as an ePub book $3.99 Click to Order Quotes "When you have too much, it's a good feeling to let go. My new hobby is just breaking even." -- Gary Busey, who still owes $450K on his bankruptcy, Link Send e-mail to Bart Why spend that when you already have it won? Link Mitt Romney's campaign had $25.7 million left in the bank days after the most expensive race in U.S. history. Leftover campaign cash is common and often goes to the national party or other candidates. The Romney campaign on Thursday said every raised dollar had gone toward Romney's run and that it "continues to process invoices for pre-election expenses." It expected to have less than $1 million by the end of the year. "It is not uncommon. It is of course a great risk," said Sheila Krumholz. "As a loser you want to make sure you've given it your all." ha ha Send e-mail to Bart War: The ultimate example of bullying by Jane Stillwater Link Bullies are people who, when they can't win their arguments by truth, reason or logic, then result to violence, intimidation, lies and extortion. School-yard bullies use that technique. And, on the national and international level, it is also used by the Mafia, Al Qaeda, Fox News, the IDF, the GOP, America's new militarized police forces and our new massive highly-weaponized armies happily dreaming of world-wide "pre-emptive war" at the taxpayers' expense. So how do we protect ourselves against bullies? Not sure. Non-violent resistance is good -- but losing one's life in order to non-violently preserve one's own self-respect is bad. Send e-mail to Bart Subject: 9/11 I can’t believe you’re still a 9/11 truther, bart. I think everyone knows now that bin Laden, and NOT Bush, was behind those attacks. Bin Laden himself even admitted it on videotape, yet you still want to believe that “controlled demolition” B.S. Bush may have been one of America’s worst Presidents, but he is NOT The Great Satan. So enough with your obsession with hating Bush, and get your head out of your ass. Please. Pat R Pat, at least one of us is crazy. Not sure how I got lumped in with the "controlled demo" folks - I never said anything like that. All I said was, After all these years, we still don't know what happened on 9-11. You might think you know what happened on 9/11, but that'd just be a guess. Whatever happened on 9/11, Bush and Cheney did all they could to cover it up. The minute he appointed Lee "Whitewash" Hamilton, I knew the fix was in. You might want to be more careful with that ax in the future. Send e-mail to Bart Shop

GOP is politicizing Benghazi - they never learn Link Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will testify publicly to Congress on the findings of the State Department's investigation into the Benghazi attack, a top lawmaker said Friday. Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said Clinton had agreed to come before her panel to discuss a probe into the attack by the State Department's accountability review board (ARB). The congresswoman did not specify a date. "As we anticipate the release of the ARB report, I look forward to discussing with the Secretary what corrective measures has the Department undertaken to address problems identified in the months following the Benghazi attack, including security of our posts, threat assessments, host government responsibilities, and coordination with other U.S. security agencies," the poser said in a statement. I am REAL happy this is going to be on live TV. Hillary has nothing to hide. There's no question they can ask that she can't answer. She's not afraid to take the best shots the snarling dogs can throw at her. Compare that to the crooked cowards in the Bush adminsitration. They could only testify behind closed doors, no cameras, no microphones, no transcript and, above all, certainly not under oath. I hope this Illeana Ros-Lehtinen woman thinks she can push Hillary around. Hey Illeana, I'll send you $100 if you can make Hillary cry. Jim Send e-mail to Bart Subject: last issue's federal reserve comic Bart, The "Infographic" on "why the government pays $300B interest" is full of it. For one thing, the Federal Reserve's "owners" are public knowledge, easy to find on Google. Also, if anyone cares to look, the Federal Reserve has paid money to the US Government every year -- it makes a profit. Its customers are the banks, and they pay a very small fee to the Federal Reserve; half the profits go back to the US. If you wonder who holds the debt, about half is listed as "Federal Reserve and Intragovernmental"; comparing this to the portion of the debt held by the Social Security Trust Fund, you'll see it's the major holder of US debt. Less than a third, by the way, is held by foreign investors; China holds about a quarter of that. You want to know why the government pays a lot of interest? Because it borrowed $5.6 trillion under Reagan-Bush, at interest rates around 10%. It also borrowed $6.5 trillion under Bush II, but the interest rates were a lot lower (<6%) due to the economic improvements under Clinton. The $6.3 trillion borrowed under Obama averages negative real interest rates; unless the economy crashes, its cheaper to borrow that way than to spend cash. Russ Send e-mail to Bart Gifts

Obama has a Pot Problem
Link Drug reformers can scarcely believe their landslide victories at the polls. "People expected this day would come, but most didn't expect it to come this soon," says Norm Stamper, a former Seattle police chief who campaigned for legalization. "This is the beginning of the end of prohibition." But the war over pot may be far from over. Legalization has set Colorado and Washington on a collision course with America's Get Tough Pot Cop - President Obama, who has shown no sign of drug sanity in today's changing world. Obama has actually launched more raids on state-sanctioned pot dispensaries than George W. Bush, and has threatened to prosecute state officials who oversee medical marijuana as if they were drug lords. And while the administration has yet to issue a definitive response to the two new laws, the Justice Department was quick to signal that it has no plans to heed the will of voters. "Enforcement of the Controlled Substances Act," the department announced in November, "remains unchanged." In other words, "Fuck want the voters want." A big reason for the get-tough stance, say White House insiders, is that federal agencies like the DEA are staffed with hard-liner pricks who have built their careers on going after pot. Michele Leonhart, a holdover from the Bush bastards whom Obama has appointed to head the DEA, continues to maintain that pot is as dangerous as heroin - a position unsupported by either science or experience. When pressed on the point at a congressional hearing, Leonhart refused to concede any distinction between the two substances, lamely insisting that "all illegal drugs are bad." Michael Leonhart is insane. Marijuana is more dangerous than alcohol? Marijuana is more dangerous than cigarettes? Medical science is shocked and disgusted by your barbarism, Mr. Leonhart. Are you still performing exorcisms, too? Studies have shown the worst thing about pot is it drags you into the Americam criminal justice system, where you could be raped or killed or imprisoned, but Obama the Democrat wants to get to Bush's right on this - why? Remember, CANDIDATE Obama was against criminalization. Send e-mail to Bart This is Obama taking Thurston's concession call Nov 6th. Quotes "So I went to talk to Muhammed Ali. He says, 'Jim Brown wants to fight met? Bring him here.' So I took him to Hyde Park in London, where Ali used to run. Ali said, 'Jimmy, here's what we're going to do: You hit me as hard as you can.' So Brown starts swinging and swinging, and he can't hit him. He's swinging wildly and not even coming close. This goes on for, like, 30 seconds. Then Ali hits him with this quick one-two to his face. Jimmy just stops and says, 'OK, I get the point.'" -- Boxing promoter Bob Arum, talking about the time Jim Brown considered fighting Ali Link Many years ago, maybe 1977, Ali was doing some kind of boxing exhibition. He was in the ring and hes was facing Michael "Dynamite" Dokes, who was no pushover. Ali went to one corner and with his gloves, grabbed the ring ropes on either side of him, which means his arms were extended (no defense) and Ali dared Dokes to hit him. Dokes tried and tried, but Ali kep ducking and dodging - he was too fast for Dokes. To egg him on, Ali was yelling, "No hands - no hands" while Dokes punched furiously at the air. Will we ever see Ali's speed (not to mention balls) again? Send e-mail to Bart Know Your Classics New Feature! In 2010, 93% of income gain went to top 1% of families. Corp made record $1700B profit in third quarter of this year. Wages are at all time low or 43% of GDP. We rank in OECD as #1 with 44 percent of workers earning low wages. We rank #2 as least tax on corporations. We rank #3 as least taxed as percent of GDP. We rank #4 on Inequality. Many experts recommend Cap Gains and Dividends be taxed as ordinary income at 28%. In 2009—All Tax returns were taxed at 11.06% Tax Rate. Top 10% got 34% of income taxed at 18%; Reminding everyone again that super-rich Romney was only paying NINE percent in taxes. We should plug every loophole Romney uses - make him pay his damn taxes like the rest of us. No wonder the country is broke - the super-rich aren't paying their fair share. 25% got 66% of income and taxed at 15%; 50% got 87% and taxed at 12.5%. Borrowed $1400B. Republicans are very very wrong to fight tax increases on wealth. It is almost insane. The problems are obvious but they choose to ignore them for political gain at expense of hurting economic growth that comes from demand by the under paid middle class.
