Harry Reid took a jab at Mitch the Bitch on Monday, appearing to be entertained by the possibility
that McConnell may face a tea party favorite in 2014.
"He tried to make love to the tea party and they didn't like it," Reid said of McConnell, Politico reported.
Matthew Bevin, a Kentucky Tea Bagger, is expected to enter the 2014 race against McConnell on
Wednesday at the state Capitol.
McConnell's camp says Bevin's challenge is"nothing more than a nuisancet. But Laurie Rhodebeck

"What we need is an adult conversation," these empathy-bankrupt conservatives say when a violent
monster shoots up a school, or when an over-zealous neighborhood-watch vigilante profiles, stalks and
kills a black teenager. "Time for an honest discussion," they suggest with feigned sincerity when outrage
and a demand for action comes from the left.
Yes, conservatives just love having conversations, except when it's with a black president talking openly
and honestly about the kind of persistent racism in America that results in an unarmed black kid being
shot dead by an armed white adult. Then they're not so keen on discussion.
Republicans have expressed anger and disbelief at President Obama over his remarks last Friday during
an impromptu White House address on racism and the Trayvon Martin case. Obama spoke passionately
about his personal experiences with racial profiling and discrimination in an effort to humanize the struggles
black males face in everyday life.

George Zimmerman, who has been in hiding since he was acquitted of murder, emerged to help
rescue someone who was trapped in an overturned truck, police said with a straight face.
Sanford Cops told ABC News that Zimmerman "pulled an individual from a truck that had rolled over"
at the intersection of a Florida highway last week.
The crash occurred at the intersection of I-4 and route 417, police said.
The crash site is less than a mile from where he ambushed and murdered Trayvon.

Bixby's Conrad Farms to Close in October

Bixby’s Conrad Farms will sell its last crops this year and close down its multi-generational farm and market.
Co-owner Vernon Conrad said he and his brothers Eugene and Melvin have decided to sell the market and its
400-acre vegetable farm and retire on Oct. 1.
“We’re all getting old. They want to retire and I want to retire,” said Vernon Conrad.
“Maybe I’ll get a chance to take a little vacation.”
The Conrads have operated farms in the Bixby area since 1931 and started selling year-round in 1974.
Conrad said they plan to sell the farmland, which has been highly coveted in this booming suburb.
I jumped in my car and ran to Bixby in a blinding thunderstorn for today's fresh Silver King corn.
As I checked out, I asked how much longer the corn would be coming in and she said, "This is the last of it."
Boom!
On an instant, it's all gone.
We've been buying fresh corn from Conrad's since 1976.
It's like Superman dying...
