Two very rich tea party congressmen, both with net worths well in excess of $1 million,
say they will forego having the government help pay for their insurance, and one of them
has decided his staff can, too. Easy for them to decide. Maybe a little harder for an average staffer.
Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., who is leading the conservative effort in the House to oppose legislation
to fund the government unless it includes a rider zeroing out money for Negrocare, says he and his staff
would decline federal subsidies to purchase insurance on the exchanges, which open for enrollment in October.
Meadows joins fellow racist Rep. Robert Pittenger, who announced late last week that he too will decline
Negrocare, and that he’s cosponsoring legislation that would prohibit any member of Congress from receiving
such assistance.
Meadows had a net worth in 2011 up to $12 million and Pittenger's is up to $48 million. Obviously this is
a huge sacrifice on their part. Nice of Meadows to commit his staff to that political statement, too.

Lawyers for George Zimmerman, the scumbag that murdered Trayvon Martin, plan to ask
the state to reimburse Zimmerman for at least $200,000 of expenses incurred during his trial.
Under f-ing crazy Florida law, an acquitted defendant cannot be held liable for court costs or
any charges while detained in custody, as long as a clerk or judge consents to the refund.
The costs may include money spent for expert witnesses, travel expenses and fees for transcripts.
"We're probably going to ask for somewhere between $200,000 and $300,000," lawyer Mark O'Mara said.
If he wasn't a lazy slug, Zippy could get BIG paydays such as writing a book, or any money resulting from
a defamation lawsuit against NBC News or FOX News could pay for intereviews or Zippy's life story.

Do anything to combat global warming in Glenn Beck’s office? You’re fired.
To prove whay a dick he is about global warming, which Beck labels a “load of socialist, communist crap,”
the right-wing racist announced his war against energy-efficient light bulbs.
On air, he asked a staffer to write a memo that threatened to fire anyone caught using one.
"I'm dead serious," Beck said on his radio program, as his employees titter nervously.
His employees titter?
"I fire the person that starts to purchase fluorescent light bulbs, unless that is the only
light bulb for a very specific reason, and I want to be cc'd on what that reason is."
How about to light a dark room? Is that reason enough?
But Beck’s vendetta against eco-friendly office supplies doesn’t end there.
He told one worker not to purchase any more recyclable spoons, either.
Sounds to me like Glenn Beck would rather send young Americans to die

leveled a very specific criticism at the bastards — that their sole objection to Obama is that he his black.
It’s not a new Tea Party criticism, but in a larger reflection on race, politics, and Obama’s presidency,
Jesse Jackson said the Tea Party is more like a resurgence of confederate thinking.
In the piece titled “Obama, Race And Class,” Jackson charged:
“The tea party is the resurrection of the Confederacy, it’s the Fort Sumter tea party.”
Race is a touchy issue for the Obama administration, Tea Party notwithstanding. The President has a
hard time even saying things related to race or racial disparity without invoking the ire of many white
Americans, and his comments recently about the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin
trial sparked ire and vitriol from the right-wing press.
Jesse is free to say the things Obama can't say - so he does.

We should not get involved in Syria without a plan. First - we are making an assumption
that Assad is the one who gassed those people. But we have no evidence. Both sides have
had access to those weapons. If you don't think it through one might assume Assad was behind it.
But when you think about it he gassed civilians, not fighters. That would gain him nothing and
invite the wrath of the world. Not a smart move.
However if one of the rebel factions like Al Qaeda gassed the civilians then they could draw America
into the war to lsucker us do their fighting for them. With Assad out of the way they could take over.
That seems much more likely because they would have something to gain at our expense.
So I think we should hold off. Obama doesn't need to prove his manhood to the Republicans.
We should not attack without a plan. You think that after Iraq we would have learned something.

Obviously, there is concern about the human rights catastrophe in Syria, but is the main target Syria’s main ally,
