"Comedian Rush Limbaugh Has Advice For Men Who Stare At Women’s Breasts." -- LOLGOP in a Tweet Audio Send e-mail to Bart Boehner Caught Lying Again He never has to pay a price for lying... Link On Monday, after the Healthcare.gov website was reportedly fixed and visited by nearly a million people, John Boehner (R-Liar) felt compelled to try and piss in Obama's cereal and elected to do so by sharing another supposed Obamacare horror story. Via his Twitter account, Boehner posted "I couldn't believe what I was being told," said a dad who learned #ObamaCare wouldn't cover his baby." The story of Cornelius Kelly, a Long Island resident that claims he was told that he would have to buy a separate health insurance policy for his 18-month-old baby, however, is a big fat lie. There is a very simple reason why Kelly did not receive coverage for his 18-month-old daughter: He forgot about her. Kelly placed on his application that he had three children instead of four. Send e-mail to Bart Subject: how health insurance should be... lIn most of the rest of the world they have single payer, read as dreaded "socialized", health care systems. I am not going to preach to the choir, or in this case the conductor, himself, but the information is out there and plain for anyone to see as my Buddha sized gut. The insurance companies and banksters that sleep and swap communicable diseases between themselves while rolling in beds made of 1000 dollar bills have such a lock on the media and all levels of our government, down to the local level (ALEC) that even true "liberals" don't have a clue had bad it really is. However, a small hole has been made in the dike that hold all this together. The main stream media has not mentioned this that I have heard at all. This is a link to a short story on what has happened in Vermont. About 900,000 veterans live on food stamps, and an additional 5,000 active-duty service members are food stamp recipients. “My husband medically retired in October, and it’s a big transition to go from active duty to medical retirement,” said Mrs. Boling, 29, of Gaithersburg. “It gets hard around this time of year. My husband is making about 30 percent of what he used to be making. You have to start stretching dollars. This literally puts food on the table.” The Democrats should propose a bill to raise taxes on the super-rich to give all soldiers a raise to get them above the poverty line and dare the GOP to rail against it. But no, they can't do anything that bold because they can't think. Why can't Democrats think? Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Time to pass immigration reform The Senate has passed an immigration reform bill that the President will sign. There are enough votes in the House to pass the bill if the Speaking of the House would merely allow a vote on it. I think that if the House has the time to waste to repeal Obamacare 47 times they can find the time to vote on immigration. I think it's time Republicans quit blocking this because reform is going to happen sooner or later and when it does you don't want these immigrants to be angry at your party. Subject: JFK, 9-11 and all the rotten schiess... Bart, Agree totally with this comment. I do not believe that all of the hidden papers about Bush the meaner (we all know about Bush the dumber) will ever be released. Junior hid his dad’s sealed documents in junior’s library(plenty of room there!) for a long, long time. They allowed 9/11 to happen knowing innocent people would be killed, proven by junior's blank stare when he was told it had started. Your logo for the Bush Family Evil Empire says it best, pure EVIL from those people. BobbyLee in Iowa Send e-mail to Bart Who was Charlie's hottest Angel? for example making sure her clothing line isn't produced in sweat shops. WDRussell Jacklyn Smith, hands down. Geno, NC Kate Jackson by a long shot. Kevin in Portland Jaclyn Smith….beauty and brains. Cynthia S For my part, I vote Batgirl, Mary Anne, Kate Jackson and Jan Brady. Kate Jackson always seemed to be lower maintenance than the others. Steve I always thought that Cheryl Ladd was the hottest Angel. b c Jaclyn Smith - No contest! Class and beauty….. Suzanne B Hands down...Farrah Fawcett! Mike95 I have the same answer to this as I do to the Mary Ann/Ginger question. Yes. To all of them. Why choose? Andy In Season One, I liked Kate Jackson best, (the smart one) but then Cheryl Ladd came along in Season Two and boom! Send e-mail to Bart Gene Therapy Kicks Leukemia's Ass Link In one of the biggest advances against leukemia and other blood cancers in many years, doctors are reporting unprecedented success by using gene therapy to transform patients' blood cells into soldiers that seek and destroy cancer. A few patients with one type of leukemia were given this one-time, experimental therapy several years ago and some remain cancer-free today. Now, at least six research groups have treated more than 120 patients with many types of blood and bone marrow cancers, with stunning results. "It's really exciting," said Dr. Janis Abkowitz, blood diseases chief at the University of Washington in Seattle and president of the American Society of Hematology. "You can take a cell that belongs to a patient and engineer it to be an attack cell." In one study, all five adults and 19 of 22 children with acute lymphocytic leukemia, or ALL, had a complete remission, meaning no cancer could be found after treatment, although a few have relapsed since then. These were gravely ill patients out of options. Cancer was so advanced in 8-year-old Emily Whitehead of Philipsburg, Pa., that doctors said her organs would fail within days. She was the first child given the gene therapy and shows no sign of cancer today, nearly two years later. Results on other patients with myeloma, lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, or CLL, are being reported at the hematology group's conference in New Orleans. I like reading that. Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Pot States Hi Bart, I understand that there is going to be a bill introduced in the Arizona State Legislature next session to legalize Mary J Wana for recreational use. Link Send e-mail to Bart Subject: OMG - Snow Skiing in Las Vegas ? - WTF Link The Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (on Mt. Charleston, 1 hour west of Las Vegas) has been in business for more than 50 years! That's crazy. I know it's hard to believe but we've been here forever and we love it. We love being the answer to that question, "What is there to do in Las Vegas other than gamble?" We love hearing, "There's snow in Las Vegas?" And we will always be here for something to do for those who live and visit in Vegas. Even though we've been in business that long, every year when the temperatures get cold around October there is always excitement in the air. And then....there's always that first day of snowfall. Last night was that time. Some precipitation moved in from Southern California and gave us a total of 7 inches for our first snowfall of the 2013-14 season. Fantastic! We are all excited! Our planned opening date is November 29th. But you never know, if this keeps up we might have to open early. Then Mother Nature will show that Las Vegas can have an awesome winter wonderland and fresh snow only an hour from the glitz of the casinos. Every winter we love being the perfect getaway from from the crazy casinos, over the top clubs, and gluttonous buffets. Fresh air, fresh powder and friends are all you need for a day of fun in the snow. Las Vegas Pete Send e-mail to Bart Subject: JFK Bart, JFK was killed by Allen Dulles, Curtis LeMay and Charles Willoughby. Dulles and LeMay hatched the plan, and Willoughby carried it out. JFK fired Dulles as head of the CIA, and LeMay (who's answer to everything was drop bombs) had an intense hard-on to nuke Russia into oblivion. The plan was hatched after JFK announced our unilateral ceasing of above ground nuclear tests, and his intent to open disarmament negotiations with the Soviets, at his American University commencement speech in June '63. JFK's peace initiatives sent these fuck-sticks into a tizzy. Charles Willoughby, a fascist prick and MacArthur's chief of intelligence during WWII, was born in Europe, rose to the rank of Major General in the US Army during WWII, and in the 50's worked for Spain's fascist dictator Francisco Franco. In November '63, five months after the speech, Willoughby arranged for three Spanish sharp shooters to go to Dallas, to kill the Peacenik President that they so hated. These three mother fuckers ushered in decades of hostility and militarism that needn't have been. There is a good book about it all called "The man who knew too much" by Dick Russell. Hammer on Bart! Regor in California Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Rude Pundit's mistletoe girl story Hi Bart-- Here's the thing about "asking for donations." The only reason those market folks and the park guard wanted her to be a member and have a license is that by charging for the mistletoe, Madison is, in effect, offering a contract with no way to back it up if some poor soul gets sick by mistreating the mistletoe, and her membership would have deferred any liability on her part. By asking for donations, her customers get the same product for the same price (i.e., free mistletoe, your $3 donation is appreciated!), and everyone is happy and the park/market is off the hook. It's not about breaking the law, it's about staying within it. Musicians do this all the time--we play in peoples' living rooms for strongly "suggested donations," and the hosts' homeowner's insurance covers any liability. Incidentally, for living room concerts, there's also a No Advertising rule. That's easily accomplished by offering "personal invitations." Everyone's happy, and no one is breaking any laws. David in Minnesota Send e-mail to Bart Pope's Committee on Child Rape Is he serious about stopping the decades of abuse? Link The Vatican is to set up a special committee to improve measures to protect children against sexual abuse within the Church, Cardinal Sean Patrick O'Malley, said on Thursday. "Up until now there has been so much focus on the judicial parts of this but the pastoral part is very, very important. The Holy Father is concerned about that," O'Malley told reporters, referring to Pope Francis. The commission of experts would "study these issues and bring concrete recommendations" for the Pope and the Vatican, he said. "Continuing decisively along the lines undertaken by Pope Benedict XVI, and accepting a proposal presented by the Council of Cardinals, the Holy Father has decided to establish a specific Commission for the protection of minors, with the aim of advising Pope Francis on the Holy See’s commitment to the protection of children and in pastoral care for victims of abuse,” O’Malley said in a statement. Is this the new Pope's first misstep? Does he really need a committee to tell him what's wrong and how to fix it? I have an idea - how about a zero tolerance policy for child-raping sons of bitches? Send e-mail to Bart Subject: Markos is a Great Guy Bart, regarding your question "Poor Kos, no longer making a million dollars a month - how will he get by?" Markos himself is pretty smart and for a decade has done a creditable job of picking good people for his team. The sudden, much remarked upon collapse of the netroots as a political influence can hardly be laid at his feet. The goat-feltching hysterical stupidity of his site commenters, now that is a different matter. When Markos writes that NSA spying is a serious issue among other serious issues, the hamsters in the brain of one JesseCW turns it into "Did you know Markos thinks NSA spying is OK because it's being done by white guys? Huh? Huh? Huh?" I fish the internets looking for insight and information. For fifteen years, Bartcop has delivered. With wanton gibberish of the sort now dished up by the Kossacks, it's no wonder that ad revenue is down; I can only wonder at what percentage of the vaunted "two million clicks a day" come from spammers and those who point and laugh.
