"I am worried about Obama -- he's intoxicating
in ways McCain will never be. But, it's a long way to November and
sobriety can be achieved." -- Kathryn Jean Lopez, Link
"Despite Obama's impressive victories in February,
Clinton's comeback is based on sowing political seeds of doubt. In order to clinch
the nomination, he must anticipate the worst attacks ever. If these attacks are contrasts based on policy
differences, there is no need to stop the race or halt the debate. But, if this is more division,
more diversion from the issues and more of the same politics of personal destruction, chairman Dean and
other should be on standby." -- Donna Brazile, who seems to
think Obama needs an army to handle Hillary, Link
Bart,
I have been reading you since you were RushLimba
Lying Nazi.... not anymore.
Your slurring of Obama puts you as low as KKKarl
Rove and the other GOPervs.
Al
Since I've never slurred Obama, I'm surprised when people claim I have.
I'm thinking about doing a page where I act like my accusers claim
I act.
What if I mimicked those "Bitch won't die until
we run a stake thru her heart," e-mails
- what if I turned that kind of over-the-top hate on Obama for an issue,
just to prove my point?
...maybe these unsubscribers would see how nice I've been playing.
Bart, I can't say I have anything new to say that
hasn't already been said by somebody.
I'm in Ohio and I voted for Hillary in the primary
and felt damned good doing it.
I like to visit a variety of Democratic sites
online but it's getting harder (re: more unpleasant)
to do so because the villification, defamation,
and disparagement of Hillary seems to have jumped up
a few levels since her primary win last week.
I get really tired of reading that same shit over and over.
Why does she seem to tap into this unbelieveable
level of hatred in some people?
Nobody knows for sure, but I think it's because
the Clintons are winners.
Nobody hates Al Gore (besides the GOP) nobody
hates Carter, nobody hates Kerry.
That much emotion could be better served thrown
against the Republican party.
They think Hillary is a nightmare?
The REAL nigthmare would be if John I'm-the-Same-as-Bush
McCain
gets elected.
No to mention someone needs to be paying attention
to to the shit Bush is going to try
and pull before he leaves office. Civil
liberties anyone? You weren't using them anyway?
Well now you don't have any. That sort
of thing.
I almost feels like there must be something wrong
with me as I am unable to quite see
Obama as the answer to our prayers like almost
everyone else (online) appears to.
Why don't I get the warm and fuzzie feelings over
him?
Has 7+ years of BushCo hardened me beyond hope?
Anyway, Bartcop is the last refuge for some of
us and thank you for that.
Mary Lou
Obama could turn out to be a great president, but it seems a little
early for him
to be pushing aside better qualified people to grab the reigns of power.
"If Clinton and Obama cannot (settle this),
look for undecided super delegates to opt for the easiest way out and
urge them to run together for the November election.",
-- Craig Crawford, Link
Nawww, you just support a "candidate" that trashes
the Sen. from Illinois.
Think the Republican party will use the film
clip of Hillary saying she would
vote for McCain
before she would vote for fellow Democrat Obama?
DWick
We both know Hillary never said she'd vote for McCain.
I search the official and semi-official Hillary
Clinton websites and, as I expected, couldn't find
a single picture of just Obama. I searched
the Internet and the only picture similar to the one
Carwrightdale shows was on the Obama website.
It looks like something Carwrightdale
put together himself, that's the only way he
would know exactly how to reproduce it.
It's really too bad our cultural leaders, like
Kos and Mr. Limburger,
would make such a claim. Oh well, it's
politics...

Excerpt: Two Democrats have asked government auditors
to determine what Iraq is doing with
the billions of dollars in oil revenue it generates.
"We believe that it has been overwhelmingly U.S.
taxpayer money that has funded Iraq
reconstruction over the last five years, despite
Iraq earnings billions of dollars in oil revenue
over that time period that have ended up in non-Iraqi
banks," Sens. Carl Levin, D-Mich.,
and John Warner, R-Va., said in a letter to the
head of the Government Accountability Office.
"At the same time, our conversations with both
Iraqis and Americans during our visits to Iraq,
as well as official government and unofficial
media reports, have convinced us that the Iraqi
government is not doing nearly enough to provide
essential services and improve the quality
of life of its citizens," they said.
The senators estimated that Iraq will realize
"at least $100 billion in oil revenues in 2007 and 2008."
Oh, please! That could steal that much with equiment rented
from Bartcop Oil Field Services. With unlimited money and time and power, the
BFEE can show you how to steal BIG-time.
Bart, the thing that's getting me angry with Hillary
these days centers around loyalty.
This crap of saying that McCain
is ready to be C in C, and she's ready to be C in C,
but I don't think Obama is, is nothing less than
throwing the Democratic Party under the bus.
If Obama does win the nomination, all McCain has
to do is replay Hillary's comments
saying he's unfit over and over and over.
That's poisoning the well.
Joe
Joe, I think the word she used was "experienced."
McCain has 20+ years, she has almost 20 and BO
has 3.
I didn't see it as out-of-bounds.
Obama IS the youngster in this race :)
Excerpt: The Democrats have painted themselves into a
corner again and the only way to really
resolve the Clinton/Obama race is to flip a coin.
The race is a tie. The voters want
both of them. The solution, flip a coin.
Winner gets to run for president. Loser is VP.
It doesn't matter who wins if half of the part
feel cheated. The winner has to win cleanly and in
a way that the loser's supporters will feel good
about the nominee. If voters feel cheated then
they aren't going to vote for the person who
cheated them.
So if either Obama or Hillary is the candidate,
McCain
wins the election.
Then the Democrats can fight over who's fault
it was that they screwed up the election.
But a coin flip is a guarantee that nobody gets
screwed.
We got screwed in 2000. We got screwed in 2004
and now,
HALF of us are going to get screwed - unless
we flip that coin.
The coin flip is the guarantee that no "fix" was in - it's perfect.
Both our guys are better than their best, so let them be the ticket.
In minutes, all Democrats are working to support the she/he or he/she
ticket.
I for one don't give a fuck who wins - we just gotta stop this war.

to listen to my pitch on Perkel's idea.
It was a typical Sunday morning with the talk
shows.
Tim the
Whore had four Clinton-haters
on Meet the Press to discuss the week.
Shouldn't they change the name of that show to
Attacking
Hillary?
Then Howie
the Whore on Reliable Sources did
the same thing. He got three
Clinton-haters together to discuss the week, and they all agreed that
the reporter who
revealed the Obama advisor who called Hillary "a monster" was betrayed
because, as all
good journalists know, you protect your sources (kiss their ass) instead
of revealing what they said.
Then Tweety
the whore had four Hillary haters on to discuss
the week.
I'm so old, I remember when people like you and me didn't trust these
people, but I guess times change - am I right? Send
e-mail to Bart
All three shows talked about how horribly negative the campaigns have
been
but when you take a good look at the rhetoric - what do you see?
Hillary says she's more qualified and more experienced than Obama,
Obama says she has bad judgment and is of questionable character,
so who's running the more negative campaign?
9. Rezko - The trial has started - any shoes
to drop?
Oh, no, didn't you hear?
NPR ran a report several times yesterday, strenuously
pointing out that Obama was,
if anything, very peripheral to this trial. That
might be 100% true, but it was
STRENUOUSLY pointed out. Many times.
Ari
I saw some of that Friday on CNN. They were
reporting that "She's a monster" story
and after the piece, everyone on the set weighed
in to explain that good people sometimes
blurt out things they didn't mean and she should
be forgiven for that, which is true.
Lou Dobbs chimed in and said, "Of
course, people misspeak all the time," and then Jack Cafferty said, "Of course, who
of us has never made an on-air mistake," and then Wolf the Whore said, "Of course,
it's a passionate fighting for her candidate," and then the brunette lady said, "Of course,
we can't hold that against her..."
and then I think of all the horseshit these lying whore
made up
over the years,
Clinton's trashed the White
House Gore wrote Love Story Clinton's stripped Air Force
One Gore invented the Internet The Swiftboat bastards may
have a point Gore discovered Love Canal playing stenographer for
the Bush bastards and dozens more...
...and I wonder why they're bending over backwards to assist the Obama
campaign?
Next time a Clinton gets it wrong, or a staffer misspeaks, we'll be
watching to see
if CNN holds a roundtable discussion about, "Of
course, people misspeak all the time,"
Excerpt: Obama, who has mounted an inspiring and effective
campaign, remains the favorite to win
the Democratic nomination. And as the contest
continues, he should answer every attack by
the Clinton camp on his experience, his policies
and his rhetoric. But he should stop seeking
to divert attention to her supposed ethical problems,
and concentrate instead on responding
to every serious question that is raised about
his finances and his associations. He will have to
address them all sooner or later. Sooner would
be better for him, the party and the country.
Bart, just had to hear your spin and justification
for Bill Clinton going on
the Rush Limbaugh show the day before the Texas
prima-caucus to stump for his wife.
Sincerely,
Walt (who knows you won't talk about Big
Dawg bowing down to Pigboy)
Walt, you're saying that happened?
You'd think something like that would've made
the news.
Excerpt: Laura Youngblood clutched her husband's photo
as she drove alone to the hospital.
She'd become pregnant nearly nine months earlier,
the day he'd left for training for Iraq.
Hours later, after the baby was born, she placed
the photo in the bassinet next to the
infant he'd named Emma in his last letter home.
He would never hold her.
Travis Youngblood, 26, died two months earlier,
killed by an improvised explosive device.
Laura Youngblood is just 29 years old, but she
insists she will not remarry.
Her life is her children, now ages 2 and 7. One
day, she says, she'll be buried
in the plot with her husband at Arlington National
Cemetery.
"I tell people I'm a happily married woman," she
says, crying.
If any other Democrat made a comment calling McCain
more qualified for the presidency
than one of the top Democrat contenders, you
would put that person in a pink tutu. Don't deny it!
You are wearing your hypocrisy right out on your
sleeve now.
I remember Hillary saying McCain was more experienced. He's been in Washington since 1982 - 26 years
compared to Obama's 3.
Is it "dirty politics" to say 26 is greater than
3?
Then you say Kos is in lockstep with hate radio,
yet you do the exact same thing.
I joined with Rush to falsely condemn Hillary's
"racism?"
I don't think I did.
What do you call your "Barack Hussein Obama '08"
graphic, hmm?
My server says there's no such a graphic on the
page.
Did you confuse me with someone else?
You say you haven't gone negative on Obama.
Sure, you let your "surrogates" do the work,
i.e. your links and emails you print.
So, not only do I have to watch what *I* say, I have to watch what everybody says?
The last person to say that was Ari Fleischer.
I take it you're not real big on First Amendment
issues.
I think the only one in a Kool-Aid cult is you,
my friend.
Cult of the Clintons. She can do no wrong.
Disappointed,
James
James, I wish your accusations were clearer and
more on-target.
Excerpt: Nearly two years after taking control
of Congress, the Democrats have claimed another prize
by capturing Hastert's seat - a
development the GOP say is not a harbinger of things to come.
The longtime Republican district
fell to the Democrats Saturday when Bill Foster
snatched the seat in a closely
watched special election.
While Democrat Chris Van Hollen
predicted Foster's win would send out a "political shock wave,"
Republicans were quick to downplay
the significance of the Speaker losing his seat to a Democrat..
"One election in one state does
not prove a trend," National Monkey spokeswoman Karen Hanretty said.
Jon Stewart pointed out (with
footage) how Iran's Ahmahandjob can visit Iraq with
all the pomp a state visitor
can receive, yet when Der Monkey visits the nation he
"freed from tyranny" he has
to surprise them with a visit in the dark of night.
Good point.
Hillary won California, New York, Ohio and Texas,
but Obama won Wyoming, Idaho and Utah.
Subject: using your hammer
I typically used to go to your site at least 4
times a day to see you hammer the right.
I loved it; somebody from the left with enough
balls to fight fire with fire, to go after them
the way they have always gone after us. It was
like crack; I just couldn't get enough.
I used to tell anyone who would listen to go
to your site.
But the way you have cut down, belittled and mocked
Obama has turned me - and
many other former die hard Bartcoppers - off
your site completely.
Can you quote me where I did those foul deeds?
How can you justify Hillary saying McCain
would be a better commander in chief than Obama?
She never said that, just as Obama never said,
"She's a stupid, racist crook," but both of them got their negative message out,
right?
It's called a political campaign where
both sides lie, spin and exaggerate.
Your reaction is why I've been calling for an
end to this civil war.
There are many of us out there that want the old
Bart back,
just the same way you want the old Robert Parry
back.
I haven't changed - Bob Parry changed completely.
Bob Parry used to work with facts - now he reads
minds.
You applauded me for speaking my mind - but only
when you agree with me?
My days are too busy. I don't have time to waste
going to a site that is doing
EXACTLY THE SAME THING as a republican site is
doing, which is why I
- and many other people I know - can no longer
visit Bartcop. What a shame...
Lee
Hopefully you'll feel different when the campaign hysteria wears off.
You say you want the old Bart back, but what you really want is for
me to lie to you.
Bart's
Law #1 - Don't EVER tell the truth in a political campaign. People want to be lied to.
They don't care if you're the best, most qualified candidate in history,
they're going to vote for a candidate who stars in a fuzzy
video...
I wrote that years before I knew who Obama was.
Too bad I don't have the brains to follow my own rules.
Bart, I don't think you've slurred Obama at all.
I've been a Hillary supporter ever since
Richardson got out of the race but at this point,
I can vote for either of them and not even
hold my nose like I had to do for Kerry in '04.
I agree, our party is in the most trouble I've
ever seen. Not to mention our country is on its
last circles going down the drain. I fear for
my children's future. The Democratic leadership is
the absolute worst and definitely not representative
of us in the trenches. A lot of times while
I'm driving to work and democratic functions
I think to myself "Why the hell am I doing this?"
and then I think of you and others like us working
for democracy and I know if everyone
quit now we'd be fucked for sure.

Excerpt: Brazenly defying logic, momentum, expectations,
poll numbers, gravity, and the old wives advice,
Hillary Clinton unaccountably still lives. She's
like one of those zombies you shoot and stab and
knock upside the head with a nail-studded two-by-four
dipped in some rare, poisonous South
American giant-toad secretion. And she just keeps
coming at you. Slowly she turns. Inch by inch.
Step by step. I don't know if she sold her soul
to the devil or Bill had unnatural congress with a
Voodoo Queen or the voters in Texas and Ohio
were subjected to subliminal messages in their
cereal ads or what. Perhaps she's just plucky.
What it's going to take to put this soulless banshee
permanently down? Decapitation, a silver bullet
in the ear or wooden stake through the heart;
but even then he'd best be advised not to turn his back
on the remains. Because every time he straightens
up, brushes off and looks directly into the camera
reaching out to take the Democratic damsel triumphantly
in his arms, Hillary's face pops up behind him
with an evil gleam in her eye and some superdelgate
entrails hanging out of her mouth, stretching out
both hands for his neck. She walks the earth
as one of the undead.
"I started reading buzzflash in the spring
of 2003 after seeing a link from bartcop. It was refreshing to see news as an alternative
to the mainstream media outlets who where spinning Bush's lies. I have been disheartened
by the coverage of buzzflash's constant attacks on the Clinton's. Every time
I go to on buzzflash I see articles and editorials blasting Hillary and Bill Clinton.
I never once have seen a negative thing about Obama - why is that?
Is he flawless? How about an editorial (IN BOLD HEADLINES) criticizing Obama supporters for
constantly using the Republican smear machine lies?" -- CJ, as printed on Buzzflash,

"I think it's imperative that each of us be
able to demonstrate we can cross the commander-in-chief threshold. I believe
that I've done that. Certainly, Sen. McCain has done that and you'll have to ask
Sen. Obama with respect to his candidacy...".
I have truly had it with her arrogant candidacy,
Bart.
