now wonders how Obama could be unaware of "all
this stuff swirling around him."
Such are the "questions" darkening the great forensic
brains of the right. "Did Barack Obama's transition
team know this was going on? Heck, did Barack
Obama himself know this was going on?" demands radio
talker Neal Boortz. And asking a question is
tantamount to winning a conviction, or at least an indictment,
according to the perverse norms of discourse
established during the last Democratic administration
-- or what my friend and coauthor Gene Lyons
calls 'the Clinton rules.'
We knew this would happen. The Nazi right will vilify Obama and they'll
fabricate
scandal after scandal just like they did with the Clintons.
The worst part is - the Left will believe half of it - just like they
did with the Clintons.
In eight years, Obama will hated by the Left - because we eat our own.

Bart, I read that article by Jane Hamsher.
Colin Powell gave his endorsement to Obama. Was
this not the same Colin Powell that helped Bush
sell the war in attacking Iraq? Yes! Afterwards
those on the left that were so anti-Hillary opened their
arms to old Colin when he endorsed Obama. And
that is the damn problem with Democrats.
Bill Clinton gave this country 8 years of peace
and prosperity but one would not know it because
the damn Dems do not talk it up. Unlike Republicans
that have made Reagan into a saint, the Dems
hardly ever give mention to Clinton and his 8
years. When one looks at the record of both Reagan
and Clinton, it is Clinton that had the best
8 years but here again the Dems do not voice it.
You are correct.
Many Democrats look at the Clinton years the
same way FOX News does.
Now we have many of the players that were hooked
up to the Clinton administration and those on the
far left are going apey because Obama is calling
on them once again to help get this country back on track.
Hell yes it is change.
If I were Dems I would be shouting out loud how
great the Clinton years were and how Obama is doing
his best to set the stage for a major recovery
in this country. But, I suspect the Dems are more like
Dave McCurdy who ran against Inhofe in 94 and
act as though they never heard of Presdient Clinton.
Well Bart, I had to rant, but you have been dead
solid perfect on your assessment
during the primary and afterwards. You do give
great hammer Bart.

Actually, the rules being applied to the Democrat
today are exactly like the ones that applied to Clinton
the Democrat in the 1990’s. Yet for some miraculous
