Why can't they make a search engine that works?
I went to Salon.com
to look for Gene Lyons's latest column.
I used their search portal and punched in
his
name
and the first article up was from 1997.
What's wrong with them?
Then I went to USAToday.com to get the exact wording on Angie Harmon's hypocrisyand the first thing it brought up was an article on her husband.
If *I* ran a billion dollar publishing empire, I'd hire some high school kid
or maybe an old guy to put each day's stories in the search engine, but nooooooo.
The Tulsaworld.com site is the same way. I read a story on a Monday,
then Tuesday I'll have an idea what to do with that story - but it's not there!
