Republicans are all in on voter anger. They have one and only one strategy for the 2010 election.
They are counting on the voters being so angry that they forget who made them angry in the first place.
But what would happen if the Republican voter anger plan fails? What if Democrats hold on to their majorities?
What if the same thing happens in 2010 that happened in 2006 and 2008? What would happen is that it would
be game over for the Republican party. Anger is their only plan and if it fails then there is nothing else.
Republicans are more vulnerable than they have ever been.
If Democrats merely show up to vote this year, the Republicans are gone.

We need a strong, progressive third party in this nation now more than ever.
i hope you'll take a lesson from our current situation -- where we're about to put republicans
into a majority position in congress, only because they're the only other choice -- and use
your page to push for people to leave the democratic party and build the green party at
the grass roots level in their communities.
i know you've always been opposed to this. but if the fact that the democrats can't even
beat the republicans in a year when there has never been more proof that their party's policies
caused the economic meltdown than ever doesn't sway you, i don't know what will.
get out of the burning house. let's build another one.

Guess what I did?
Every time I'm in an airport I see a Southwest Airlines booth where the attendant
is giving away free SW t-shirts if you sign up for a new SW VISA card.
My SW VISA card has been berry, berry good to me, so I always take a pass.
But now they are raising the stakes - look at this graphic:
They promise a FREE TRIP FOR TWO if I get a second SW VISA and use it once.
What's the total cost?
They're giving me the first year with no fee, so that means near the end of 2011
I'll have to pay them $59 - that's what this "free trip" will cost.
They're also eager to have me transfer debt to them, so maybe I can pay off
my old SW VISA with my new SW VISA and float that debt for 45 days.
It would be crazy to turn down a free trip anywhere in the US, right?
I wonder why everyone doesn't fly free on Southwest Airlines.

January of this year, 2010, the weather stayed so cold in St. Louis, Missouri and
Alton, Illinois that the bald eagles were cruising over houses in hopes of a quick meal.
They could not access fish that were at the bottom of the river and had gathered together.
Some kind souls decided to feed the eagles so they would survive the cold spell.
They gathered fish and started feeding the group of eagles huddled on the shore.
The photo below shows what happened.

Ruth, I would love to say more nice things about Obama
but I can't write, "He hit a triple" when he strikes out.
If you had been reading in the nineties you would have seen me give Clinton hell,
but Clinton didn't make as many mistakes and he came to work and fought hard every day.
And yes, I might've been a little rough on Obama last week but I get upset hearing
"You people need to wake up" from a guy who slept thru his first two years in power.

Subject: When Obama will come out fighting?
Hi Bart,
Bart, I took a look in a crystal ball yesterday, to figure out when Obama will quit fighting
with his base and come out fighting. And I got an interesting reading.
Obama will fight like a tiger - AFTER the Dems no longer have a majority and he can't
possibly win on anything. That's when Obama will come out fighting.
The way it appeared in the old glass ball is this, Obama just doesn't believe in progressivism,
and doesn't want a progressive agenda to pass. So he has absolutely refused to fight for it or any portion of it.
The fighting will start when he can't possibly win anything.
Pelosi and Reid don't go for that "librul" stuff either, apparently, since they don't want to introduce
any "meaningless" bills. Put me in charge, I'd have 50 simple bills per day, one item per each,
no amendments allowed, going through the House and Senate. Let the Repubs say ANYTHING
about how "the Dems hate small business" or "the Dems don't want to improve education",
I'd have 500 simple three page bills ready to hand that the Repubs voted against showing them up for liars.
In short, none of our senior "leaders" want what we want,
so there isn't any reason to be surprised when we don't get it.
Hate to say it, but that's the reading I got from the ol' crystal ball.
