Thank you for all the laughs, and restoration of my sanity during those 8 long god-aweful years. It is obvious after reading all these posts, that you have done that for many. You showed tremendous courage through all of this. You are a real treasure, and will be deeply missed. Such a loss to "us"; I can't begin to imagine the loss for Mrs Bart.

Bart fought the good fight. He was one of the few honest voices out there. We will continue the battle. My Bart rest in peace knowing that he made a difference in this crazy country that we call America.

I've been reading previous issues (they had EVERYTHING)and I'd forgotten how bart used to post the email address of anyone who sent him email, including monkeys. I know he eventually stopped that but my pointer turns into a hand when I hover over them....do the links in old issue still work, I wonder.I wish I had someone to chat with about the old stuff. In one old issue, he used the word "minions" regarding reagan and said he liked that word, it was funny. He was ahead of that curve.

Mrs. Bart, I'm truely sorry for your loss. Many of us lost a friend we never had the pleasure of meeting in person, but your loss was much deeper and greater than any of us. You have my deepest condolences in your time loss.

Three weeks since Bart's passing and I am still at a loss for words. This site was a daily ritual for me since '98. I miss him every day. I still check in here to read old issues and laugh and cry and say: Right on, Bart. Right on.

The Tick

I still come here daily to see and it is slowing down, I worry soon no one will post anymore - what can be done to make this site continue as it used to, to three/four times a week point out Republican stupidity and Democratic laziness?... I can only Hope and Pray to the clouds that he have enough voter turnout to prevent the Repukes form gaining this mid-term...
