I lost my internet connection a few weeks ago, and being busy and stressed out about other things, hadn't got onto Bartcop for awhile. I started thinking how they recently ruined my radio here (now mostly all corporate owned/'right wing', and boring) so how was I going to stay politically informed and sane? I was missing Bartcop and finally got to the library and logged on.
Someone stated it already, 'my heart sank.' I just didn't want to believe it.
Bartcop was always informative, intelligent, strong, sane, humorous and right-on.
I LOVE Bartcop!!!
We need a lot more like him.
I love the idea of a 'Bartcop cult'. Count me in!
Like others, I will be revisiting the sites again.
My heartfelt condolences to his friends and family. May love and peace, and the good fight Bartcop showed us, guide us all.

Gary, so do I. It is a part of my morning routine and I head here automatically. I have been a bart fan for 14 years, you just can't change habits overnight. So now I am going to go back to old issues and find those pearls of wisdom and maybe make a little list or something.

Been a longtime Bartcop fan since about 1998. Bart endured all my 1,000s and 1,000s of emails over the years. Can't get over not having a new Bartcop rant or polical 'toon to see every few days.
I sure miss him.
The dark Coup days of 2000 selection had Bartcop a Must Read every day. Bartcop's coverage of the Dubya Coup limo with the massive anti-Bush protests in DC, the prez limo getting egged, the crowds forced the prez limo to stop, the extremely loud Boos and all the anti-Bush protest signs.
History. that's what Bartcop website showed the world. Not the bullshit of the corporate news media.
Bartcop 'spoke' the truth. DAMN we miss you bartcop.

Steve Gillard, Molly Ivins, and now Bart.
All my heroes are departing this veil of tears.
Forever more brother, hail and farewell.

Still saddened to even think about Terri's passing
I sobbed like a baby.
I would have lost my mind during the Monkey/ Cheney years if not for BCC

My vote for the best thing on Bartcop.com. If nothing else, for the technical merits of the item.
