I started reading Bartcop in 2004 in the aftermath of the 2nd (stolen) election of 'w'. Bart seemed to be on the same plane politically as me, and the page immediately became an oasis that I looked forward to everyday. It sure made the days shorter. I feel he never got his due, nationally. I heard him mentioned a few times in the MSM, but not nearly enough. You're irreplaceable Bart. In a perfect world, you'd have you're own show and give Mahr a run for his money, I'm sure. Glad to have known a little part of your world.

News is so sad, and then there was Bart. I looked forward to his rants, observations and commentary. Although I have no idea who was, he appeared to be a honest and thoughtful voice. He will be missed.

Every day for nearly eighteen years we have checked into BartCop to see what he had to say.
He was funny and insightful. I and my family will miss Bart very much. I hope that his website continues on. It is nice to read past issues and think of the good old days. Keep it going!

OMG, just stopped in to see what's new and BAM! Bart gone! I'm so terribly sorry, Mrs. Bart. I've loved this site since the beginning and can't thank Bart enough for all that he's done to keep us informed and on our toes. A huge loss.

So sad. This web site was my oasis of real political dialog. I'm am surrounded by rabid right wingnuts andso enjoyed printing and posted articles Bart had shared. Workload has stopped my daily visits to the website but thanks to Absurdity Now I was made aware of the bad news. I was shocked. I sure hope a BARTCULT will live on. This site was so important to me during the Bush reign I just can't let it go now. May the HAMMER live on!

Mrs Bart, My deepest condolences on your loss. I discovered Bart.com only in the past couple years and was so happy to find someone who shared my rage at what is happening to our home states like Kansas and Oklahoma. It didn't use to be like this.

And now I just feel alone again.
