I love you Bart and Mrs. Bart you got me through the sudden death of my husband Hank Porter here in Tucson in 2011. You always made me laugh and feel better and go on. We were denied health insurance due to pre-ex conditions. We lost everything our home business bankruptcy and we lost Hank. You got me through that. I love you guys so much. You are family to me. I KNOW Hank helped you across. He's the tall skinny bass player next to Jimi Hendrix and Freddie Mercury, George and John and Miles are there too. Barb in Tucson Az.

WOW...what a drag. Last time here I read Bart was ill but did not understand how sick. He will be missed! i had the opportunity to donate some illustrations a few years back that Mr. Bart did post, it was great working with him on a more personal level over just reading the site. i felt I was contributing to a greater cause.

Some big empty boots there, impossible to fill them again.
Like so many here, BartCop was my reassurance that there were other like minds out there, that one could stay sane in an insane world through irony and humor.
I'm so glad to have met Mr. and Mrs. last summer, on their tour through the Southwest. I'll do my best to offer Mrs. Bart some meager support, as well.
