became politically aware when I heard this guy Limbaugh spouting off with made up reasons to hate our president back in '98. As I listened further and heard all the support Limbaugh had from equally disingenuous or plain hateful people I became nervous. Were these people going to convince other Americans that the rest of us were somehow immoral anti-Americans because of the choice of Bill Clinton in the voting booth? It all seemed so upside down that everything I knew about what made Limbaugh tick seemed to be the very things he was accusing us of. This guy was canny in throwing out these very accusations at us first so it would seem like a schoolyard fight to point out the obvious...You're fat, NO YOUR FAT!
I had serious anger about all this and then I found BartCop. What a relief, a guy who could express in meaningful terms what I felt and had the diligence to dig deeper, and remember facts from the past to the present. I knew that here was someone who could stand face to face with liars and show them what for! (as if Limbaugh would ever let that happen out from the protection of his urine colored microphone. Mr. Terry Coppage, you gave me hope.

I discovered Bartcop the same time I got my first computer, in 1999. I was hooked while surfing and came across "Rush Limbaugh, Lying Nazi Whore", and discovered the joys of Bart's informed and intelligent, and focused, outrage. We donated, not enough now I realize, off and on over the years, but after the first time, Terry called my wife and personally thanked her. Terry was a gentleman, and possessed a native intelligence that often left me stunned, and envious. The world is a much poorer place without him.

I discovered Bartcop in 2003, via a good friend. I've been thinking her ever since. This man kept me grounded during the Bush years, which we all needed grounding back then. Never agreed with him 100% of the time, which is why I read him. I just know that today, the world is a little less cynical and a little less real and a little less truthful. Whatever you believe and where ever you may be, I hope you're still swinging that hammer...

I discovered Bartcop about 8 years ago or more. It was a great discovery because in the surreal political world we live in - I found a page where others like myself could express the truth, and reinforce each other that we were, in fact, the sane ones. I will truly miss this page!

I can't remember just when I first encountered BartCop but it was quite a long time ago and I have visited this site daily ever since. I am so sorry we had to lose Bart at such a young age. It just won't be the same without Bart's presence on the Internet.
